From day one, everybody has been so helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you to everybody.
My dad is well cared for and clean by very caring and friendly staff who try to interact with him. They treat him with respect and keep his dignity. They are always very welcoming to the family, whatever time of day. We feel the rooms need decorating and updating.
I can't fault the staff for their caring nature and the genuine way that they care for the residents. All the staff care for the residents in a caring and professional way. I know that my mother is being well cared for, and this gives me peace of mind.
St Catherine's is Mum's second nursing home, and up to press, it's the best. Mum is well looked after, with loving care. This nursing home is so good I don't have any guilt now when I leave Mum to come home. Her surroundings are always clean, and the food is acceptable. The staff are brilliant, and one member, what a star she is - every care home should have one of her!
Very satisfied with the way my mum is looked after. The staff are very kind to the residents and treat them with dignity. Getting to know the staff there when I visit is welcoming. Her room always looks neat and tidy. Thank you to all the staff who work hard.
Highly professional and very friendly staff, who has a strong desire to care for the health and well-being of my mother-in-law. We are confident that our relative is safe in this home. Communication between us and the staff is excellent at all times.
I have visited my wife 3/4 times per week for over three years, and I am 100% satisfied with the way she has been cared for. During this period, I've noticed how all regular staff are very friendly and caring to all residents, which must be very difficult. Residents are never ignored, and staff will sit and talk to them, which they appreciate very much. If I have any concerns regarding anything, it has been dealt with immediately by the management.
I cannot fault the care and support offered to my mum. I feel totally confident that her best interests are served, and the staff and management are always happy to liaise with the family to ensure the best for Mum. Perhaps the only limitations are the building itself, but that is made up for by the warmth and care of staff, who deserve much praise.
Our dad is kept comfortable, clean and well-fed. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The manager is always available for any queries.
Our concern is male patient wonders into Mom's room, sometimes wearing only a wet nappy. As Mom is bedridden, we are concerned. This has happened when we have been visiting a few times, so our concern is when we are not there.
Can't praise St Catherine's Nursing Home enough. The premises are clean, and the staff obviously care a great deal about the well-being of their residents. I have no concerns at all about my mum's care, which is a great comfort. Thank you.
My mum enjoys her respite care at St Catherine's. Every time I take Mum, the staff I meet are happy, friendly and caring. The place is run efficiently but friendly also. This is extremely important to me as my mum's full-time carer; it is essential that both Mum and I feel happy and confident in the respite care provided. The experience has made me confident this is the right place for Mums future permanent care.
No respect for residents or belongings. Room mum was in dirty, cot sides dirty, dirty sheets. Only in for month assessment, rubbish. Would not recommend this so-called care home for any loved one.
My Mum has now been in the care home for a year. Despite one of those most difficult times for the country, the family cannot speak too highly for the excellent care she has received from all the staff at the home. She is always kept very clean and well presented, a difficult task as she is unable to walk, talk and is incontinent. Management and staff have always enabled contact with the family and my Mum while staying within the regulations and safety measures. Entertainment is still provided for patients including barbeques and other activities. The manager is always happy to talk through any questions we have, and they keep Mum going with a smile with all the activities! The staff are also brilliant in providing excellent care for Mum as all the staff are at the nursing home too! Thank you to everyone for helping to make such a difficult time more bearable for the family, as we know Mum is so well looked after and cared for by everyone.
Deciding to let others look after an elderly parent who has been affected by dementia is never an easy decision to make. I can categorically say that the care given to my mother by staff at St Catherine's has been second to none. The work they do is hard, unrelating and sometimes thankless, but the manager and the staff some just amazing people clearly love their work and its shows. My mother has been there for a number of years and has now sadly passed on, but I and my family could not have wished for a better place for her to spend the latter part of her life. I hope that St Catherine's goes on from strength to strength. Lots of love and respect for the manager and all the wonderful staff there. From my family and myself, thank you all from the bottom of my heart for caring for my mum.
Excellent standard of care, lots of activities and entertainment. We are missing Dotty the dog as she is not allowed to come anymore, she is missed by both residents and visitors.
My husband is well looked after. I feel happy that he is receiving the care I can't provide. Going into care is different for everyone involved, but this has been made much easier with the help of St Catherine's staff.
It is a very clean and tidy place. The staff are very friendly with everybody. They laugh and have a joke and that is what people who are staying there need. I go every other day and it is something I thought I would never enjoy doing but I must admit I do.
My sister has shown a noticeable improvement since moving into St Catherine's which I can only attribute to the level of care that she receives. The staff have been helpful and friendly when I have visited.
