View Full Details of Chatsworth Grange Nursing HomeMy partner has been in this home for several months now. At first, she was unsettled and now eating. The staff took care of her and she started to eat and settled. I believe she has gained weight. She has taken part in activities which tire her out. She is always clean and well-dressed. The staff have taken very good care of her hair which always looks neat and tidy.
Wonderful nursing home over a long period. Wife, with dementia, beautifully looked after. I go without an appointment and if in bed asleep, she is always warm, comfortable, and has been tucket up with care. The staff always assure and frequently inform me that they are looking after my wife and that they also worry, care for, and look after me as well. This they certainly do! This may seem trivial but it means so much. A friendly wonderful care home.
I am very happy with the care and support Mum receives. The carers are understanding of Mum's needs and make me feel happy with the care they give her. Management and office staff are always happy to help with any issues or questions. The food served to residents always looks amazing. The onsite handyman is always happy to help and is so lovely with the residents. I feel the activities could maybe be improved.
My wife has been in this home for three years. She is happy here and has been treated by carers and staff very well.
My wife has been cared for by Chatsworth Grange for two years. From the manager, admin and care staff she has received nothing but professional and loving care. The atmosphere in the home is friendly and helpful with visitors always made welcome. The rooms are clean and the food is good. Entertainment staff work constantly to ensure variety and fun.
The care my relative is given is very good. The home is very clean and the staff make sure my relative is kept clean which is not always easy. The staff on the whole are very friendly and caring. I feel that my relative is in a clean and safe environment and is well looked after. The staff do an amazing job, which is not easy.
I have only the highest praise for the staff at Chatsworth Grange from the management to care workers ad nursing staff. My dad is happy, well cared for, loves the food and is always clean in his clothes etc. My only concern is for one care worker who I over heard being unkind to my dad and didn't realise I was behind her. I told the management and she dealt with it - hopefully!
World's apart form my grandfather's previous care home. Staff are interactive and genuinely more caring. Management door is always open for any discussion and assistance. Very approachable.
I am quite happy knowing my wife is well looked after and cared for. The staff and management are excellent and are there if you need to talk to them at all times. You could not wish for a better care home and when my time comes I hope I am lucky enough to get a place in here.
As a family with a loved one in care, we feel happy that she is well looked after and cared for. All the staff and managers are very professional in all that they do at Chatsworth Grange Nursing Home.
Caring staff, very friendly and efficiently run. Very clean, warm and comfortable.
A very friendly, clean and caring home with accommodating and caring staff members.
My father was badly affected by dementia when he first arrived at Chatsworth Grange. This caused both him and us great anxiety when we handed his care to the Chatsworth team. However, we very quickly found that he was so well looked after and comfortable and a large burden of guilt and foreboding was very quickly lifted from us. My father enjoyed the last 15 months of his life in their care, and I know both he and we soon started to feel like they were part of his extended family. I cannot thank or praise them enough for what they did, and the rest of the family all feel the same.
Sadly I cannot recommend Chatsworth Grange. The culture is like something I have never experienced before. There are some good, genuine care staff but, unfortunately, my mum’s basic care needs were not always met. Concerns were not dealt with openly and honestly by management, there was no compassion or person-centred care. The bedding supplied is not adequate, especially in winter. There are no trips out to shops, garden centres or botanical gardens like it says on the website. My mum was a full fee-paying customer, when her funds dropped below the threshold I was asked to pay an unaffordable top up fee. I had no option but to move her to another home.
The only concern I had was male carers doing personal care when states in the care plan that doesn't want males. I discussed this matter with the ward nurse and she said she would deal with it. I thought the fact she dealt with this straight away was good. Good size rooms, privacy when needed. Good overall care, would benefit from more one-to-one with residents in bed - interaction. Friendly staff, all staff and nurses on Litton are caring and helpful.
Staff are, in the main, helpful and considerate.
My grandad has been in nursing care at Chatsworth Grange Nursing Home for several months. All staff and management are excellent, everyone is friendly, welcoming and professional. Grandad is treated with love, kindness and dignity which I find to be important to us as a family. Activities are very good which included sing-a-longs and entertainers. The nursing home would be unable to run without all the hard work of the domestic, laundry, kitchen and maintenance staff do, their work is often overlooked but is very much appreciated. I would recommend Chatsworth Grange Nursing Home, having used another one for another relative. Keep up the good work.
Totally professional care home. Extremely comfortable and modern. The care team are friendly and very professional, lots of activities for residents. Absolutely 10 out of 10.
Visited Mum on Friday the 3rd of February, very pleasant visit. Staff are very friendly. Lovely visit.
Every time I have visited my uncle, with my husband, staff have been courteous, polite, helpful, attentive and obliging. They have been very caring, friendly and jokey in an appropriate manner to my uncle who responds well to them (when he's awake)! He always speaks highly of his carers.
