View Full Details of Henleigh Hall Care HomeMy brother has lived at Henleigh Hall for three months - the care is excellent and the staff are always happy to answer queries. The nursing care is excellent and the activities programme is varied with lots of music. A happy home.
Lots of staff at all times. Very responsive and seem kind and caring. Mum is kept comfortable and is settling in well. Information for new residents is very helpful. Food is fantastic, mum is eating better then ever!
Henleigh Hall Care Home, nice staff, easy to talk with. Always welcoming, mum enjoys the food and people. No complaints.
In general my husband is cared for. Since his wing has become nursing care he has had less baths and showers etc. He should be moving to a larger room in the residential section. Occasional problems with medication, mainly with agency night staff. Food sometimes cool or cold in the upstairs dining room. Activities are mainly focused on female interests.
My Mother has only been with you a month so this review is not overly informed. Where I've ticked satisfactory that's because I don't have sufficient knowledge to make a more informed view (I suspect the category to be at least satisfactory). My only comment is the facility itself is that there is no real outdoor garden to sit in on nice days. My Mum is very used to sitting out in a nice garden and was a very keen gardener herself.
In general, Henleigh Hall Care Home is good, with some very good aspects. The staff are caring and make an effort to get to know residents as individuals. They are approachable and respond quickly to concerns and questions. The activities programme is varied and regularly supplemented with new ideas. Hygiene and cleanliness procedures are generally followed carefully.
My wife has been a resident at Henleigh Hall since September 2022. Throughout that time, her care has been good. She has Parkinson's with Parkinson's dementia, conditions that are well understood by the care staff. She is treated with respect and her dignity is always acknowledged. Overall I and the family are very satisfied with her care.
My mum has been at Henleigh Hall for four years and they have helped mum's time a relatively happy stay considering her circumstances. (Parkingsons, catheter, hoist out of bed etc). All the staff are super friendly and she has formed lovely bonds with a few particular members of staff. Thank you Henleigh Hall you are true superstars.
My wife came to Henleigh over 2 years ago when it was no longer possible for her to be cared for at home. I visit every day and Henleigh has proved to be home from home for my wife and myself. My wife is happy and feels safe. I am always made welcome and included in all aspects of care.
I have been so impressed with the care my mother has received. She is treated with dignity and is always clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and patient. They also look after my dad, listen to him and show him great respect. I did not know that a care home would be so good. Thank you.
My friend came to Henleigh Hall after a month's trial stay at another care home which she did not like. I recommended Henleigh Hall because my mum spent the last year of her life there and had been well cared for. My friend liked it and has been there for a year and a half. Despite the fact she is now 90, memory getting shorted and a few health problems, she is content there and is an active part of the residential community. I am pleased that Henleigh Hall has met her needs.
I am very happy here.
Mum repeatedly told me that the staff were lovely and I observed that they were cheerful and positive. Mum didn’t usually want to leave her room to join in the many and varied activities offered to residents, preferring to have her door propped open and enjoy brief regular social interactions with staff, who at her request, stopped by regularly. Mum had the nursing care and support she needed at Henleigh during the last 13 months of her life. We couldn’t have wished for better care. Thank you.
Mum moved into Henleigh Hall in May 2023. Always a difficult decision to take for any family. From our first meeting with the deputy manager, we felt we had found the right care home for Mum. Mum has settled, welcomed by all the staff who are kind and friendly. My review with the lady in charge of the floor has only been full of positives.
My mum became a resident approximately a year ago, under very difficult circumstances. In addition to being a resident, my mum receives nursing care. Immediately the staff welcomed her and every effort was made to integrate her into her new home. There is a vast range of activities and every effort is made by staff to provide a lively atmosphere. I looked at a range of care homes in Sheffield and couldn’t imagine my mum living anywhere else. The staff/resident/family meetings are a great way to provide timely feedback and future requirements including food preferences. The home is always clean and well maintained. I know when I am on holiday, my mum is well cared for and in safe hands. The staff go above and beyond.
Very caring staff who looked after my uncle for the last weeks of his life and respected his wishes. We were always made most welcome during our visits. This home impressed us far more than the others that we visited with its calm atmosphere, friendly staff and great management. Thank you.
My wife entered Henleigh Hall on the 19th of January 2023. In the short time she has been a resident, there has been a marked improvement in her general condition, she is happy, socially more amenable, and enjoys the ambience, and the friendliness of the staff who are caring and respectful. The stimulus of the activities programme and the attention she receives has lifted her spirit. Friends and visitors find the ambience and welcome they receive indicative of a well-organised and inviting home from home.
Words cannot express the profound appreciation to all the wonderful staff for making Mum's time with you so enjoyable and happy for her. She certainly made the right call when she said she didn't want to go anywhere else but Henleigh. I (and she) only wish it could have been for longer. Thank you all so much.
My sister in law age 90 was really struggling to manage at home on her own. She is waiting for an operation. I rang Henleigh Hall. They were very helpful and managed to accept her straight away as an emergency. She is still living there. All the staff are wonderful and she is contemplating moving in permanently.
After looking at several homes for Mum Henleigh Hall impressed us the most. Before becoming a resident, Mum had stayed there for several weeks respite and when she was no longer able to stay in her own home, she chose Henleigh Hall for her new home. Mum is well cared for and we have found all the staff we have met to be friendly and very helpful. There are lots of activities and events organised for both residents and their visitors and we have found Henleigh Hall to be a safe and cheerful environment for Mum.
