View Full Details of Loxley CourtI have always felt very welcome, both before and after lockdown during this COVID time, when allowed to visit and also when I rang to speak to my husband when visits weren't allowed. The staff and management are always very polite, happy and smiling. Each and every one of them very friendly. My husband seems very content and happily settled.
My dad has been a resident in Loxley Court since December 2019 and was an emergency admission, for this, our family was very grateful. Due to the pandemic we have had very few visits in this time. When we have been able to visit Dad he is very content and feels at home. The care staff are very attentive towards my dad's care and there is always a support person around whilst we are having a visit. He is very relaxed and happy. Management at the home have been very professional throughout the pandemic and regularly communicate updates on how they will accommodate visits and how families can safely visit. We are very happy with the care my dad receives.
My dad was well looked after in the 3 years he was there. He passed away in August but I could not have asked for better care for him. The staff were amazing. They took time with him, even when at times he could be difficult. My dad always had a smile on his face when I visited and only once did I have to raise an issue with the manager, who dealt with it. I can't thank them enough for the care and consideration they showed in his last days. The staff work really hard.
My husband came to Loxley Court on 31st December 2018. He has received the best care, he was treated with care and compassion during his stay. The family were also treated very well and felt that he was safe and looked after. He passed away on 15th January 2019 and was given a dignified exit from this world.
I find the home clean. Staff very helpful and they interact with residents well. Staff are ready to answer any queries you have and update you on the care of my husband. Management helpful and really approachable.
My Mum is cared for well and I don't have any concerns about welfare. Always kept updated on her health and notified of any changes.
My main concern is that a few residents are allowed to roam and some of them enter my wife's room without a carer being present.
Mum is looked after well by staff, carers, trained staff. She seems very settled and contented most of the time.
The staff at Loxley Court were professional, thorough and very kind and caring. My Mother presented particularly challenging needs and was exceptionally uncooperative at times - and yet the staff did everything possible to provide the best care and to look after her. The management staff were personally involved and took time to understand and find out as much as possible in order to give the best care plan for my Mum. Even on a personal level - the manager was caring and supportive for me. I felt she went above and beyond and did her job in an exemplary way.
I observed a carer trying to cooperate with a resident, she really was amazing. The resident was very anxious, was in a very agitated state. She made a drink and put some biscuits on a plate and said very quietly "would you like to have a drink and let us both sit and enjoy a break"? After 5 minutes this really worked, the task did get through to the resident. The point I'm trying to prove was that the carers patience to the resident made her feel at ease.
My husband is on Churchill Ward and last week was taken ill with swollen stomach and an infection which was detected by the nurses and they dealt with the situation very efficiently and caringly. He was sent to hospital and he is now back in his own room comfortable and made very welcome by all nurses and excellent carers that work on that unit.
Overall I am very happy with my Father's care and would encourage others to consider Loxley Court. There are some excellent staff working here and over the years I think I have seen steady progress towards the highest standards. My Father has multiple care needs and I feel these are being met: he seems very much at home and staff have become family for him. Whilst nothing is perfect, I do feel the managers have tried to listen to concerns and responded positively. Dad is treated with dignity and is given genuine care on a day-by-day basis. I do trust the whole staff team to give Dad the best life possible and they usually rise to the challenges. I and my sisters thank the whole team for all they do.
Having visited three times, have been very impressed by the way staff have been very helpful always. The residents have been well looked after and the facilities have been well cleaned and always well maintained.
Since my dad came to Loxley Court 7 weeks ago, we can do nothing but give praise and thanks for the excellent care excelled by ALL staff. Our relative has been treated amazingly, given the amount of support and encouragement they require. Keep up the good work and once again, Thank you all.
Since Mum moved into Loxley Court in 2016 she has been very content and very well cared for. The staff have all been kind and willing to do anything to improve Mum's life in Loxley. Mum was unhappy at her last 2 addresses but since moving to Loxley, she has always been happy and relaxed. She has made friends and enjoys the activities and outings. I would recommend Loxley Court.

Very early experience, but very good what we have seen and heard.
A lovely place, very warm and comfortable the staff in every area have been excellent. A wonderful respite stay, can't wait to come back.
This home is fantastic. The staff cannot do enough for you from management to cleaning staff, I could not have wished my dad to spend the last months of his life under their care. We were truly blessed as a family to have found these people they became extended family. When people say angels don't exist yes they do they work here and cared for my dad thank you to each and every one of you.
We have been extremely pleased with how our mum has been dealt with. Her care requires a great deal of patience and we have found this in the staff and management at Loxley Court. The rooms look a little basic but everything is clean and well managed. However what really matters to us is that mum is safe and cared for and thanks to all at Loxley Court we have found that for her with them.
