View Full Details of Burger CourtThe staff have gone above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the care has been appropriate and effective. They are very knowledgeable about the client's needs and have placed the client firmly at the centre of care. They have been both open and transparent in their communication, and have worked hard to foster a calm and happy environment. Staff have fostered a good relationship with the client and have ensured that the client has been involved in decision making and encouraged to retain independence. They have put much effort into making the client's experience a positive and enriching one.
My father is a resident and the staff have been exceptional. They go out of their way to cater for his special needs and I have been very impressed at the self-education they have put themselves through to understand his condition. The staff are always very friendly and really seem to take pride in the relationships they have developed with residents. The facilities are nice and spacious, with good outside areas, but as with everything there is always room for improvement. I have full confidence in the home, treatment and care they have provided my father and can't thank the staff enough for their level of care.
The staff work hard to develop a constructive and friendly relationship with the relatives - providing encouragement to and devoting time to the resident's individual needs and interests. The staff are also very approachable to and appreciative of the needs of and the involvement of the resident's relatives.
I moved into Burger Court nursing in 2018. I am from Bradford West Yorkshire and have lived in Bradford all my life at the moment I'm living in a self-contained flat at Burger Court. mM aims and goals are to eventually move into a place of my own like a bigger flat at the moment the way I keep myself active by doing general activities to keep me on the straight and narrow I'm doing really well according to the staff, healthcare assistants and managers as a small example of the things I do I cook my own food which is broken down over a £30.00 budget to have a meal Monday to Friday and have a Sunday dinner downstairs as another small example I'm also responsible for taking and signing for my own medication which has got better over the years and is keeping me well due being from Bradford my family all live close by I have regular contact with my mum and sisters every day. Many thanks
Our son has been a resident at Burger Court for many years, and the improvement in his condition has been noticeable. He has become much more settled, his communication has improved greatly, and is much more confident with interaction with the outside world. He has learned skills of laundering and cleaning his room. His personal cleanliness has also improved. All this is due to the interaction, tolerance, patience and understanding of the staff, who remain friendly, kind and helpful to him and the other residents. Not an easy job when faced with challenging behaviour. The staff are always cheerful, welcoming and supportive of us, keeping us informed of any issues with our son. The Mothers Day lunch was really superb and very welcome during this Covid lockdown. A heartwarming experience, thank you.
