View Full Details of The Links Care CentreMy dad was moved to the care home late June 2024. The management and staff of the Home are very pleasant, communicative and clearly attentive to my dad's care and needs. I highly recommend this home when having to place a loved one into care.
No one wants to see their parents go into a care home, but The Links Care Centre is the best one my father has been in. He is very well looked after, is always clean, the room is always clean and all surrounding areas. The staff are all wonderful, very caring and very friendly and always makes us feel welcome no matter what time of day we visit. I feel able to relax knowing he is getting very good care. Well done to everyone at The Links, and thank you for looking after my dad so well.
Very pleased with the care my dad is receiving, such wonderfully kind and friendly staff (at every level). They all go out of their way/ extra mile to provide fantastic all round nurturing care to these vulnerable patients.
This care home has made significant improvements and on a recent visit the staff made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to ensure the visit to our family member went smoothly. It’s clear the staff are passionate about providing a first class care service to the residents. Thank you again for such a warming and welcoming experience.
My mum moved into The Links Care Centre earlier this year following a stay in hospital and then some respite care at another home. Unfortunately, the care home could not meet her complex mental health needs. In addition, the care home could not provide halal food. My mum wasn't happy there and did not like the food, so we searched for somewhere else and found The Links Care Centre. First impressions were very good, so the decision was taken to move mum there. I have to say I am highly impressed by the standard of care Mum receives and the quality of the place as a whole. I can't fault the staff at all. They are so welcoming and caring, and nothing is too much trouble. Mum is now in a safe and happy environment and is very content to be there. We all know that she is getting the care she needs. My mum is religious, and her faith has always been important to her. The home kindly arranged for a local Imam to visit her. She was visited by an Imam from a local mosque.
Went to visit my brother on my birthday 1st June. I was very surprised that on my visit a present and a birthday cake was brought into me. It was very good of the staff to help my brother to celebrate my birthday. Many years have passed since anything like that happened to me. Well done. To all concerned, my brother hasn’t been at The Links that long and seems to be settling down well so this tells you what type of home The Links is. Once again thank you very much.
My brother is a resident at the Bradford Kismet Gardens care home. The staff there are all very caring and kind. The receptionists, nurses, care assistants, and cleaners are always helpful and pleasant. I send my thanks to them all for their dedication and support to looking after my brother.
My brother has multiple and very complex needs. Over the years we have struggled to identify a facility that could accommodate and support him. We were impressed with our initial visit to The Links and also the preparations made for him when he subsequently visited. He has now been resident for almost 6 months and we are very pleased with the care and support he receives. The staff are very friendly and supportive, to the family as well as my brother, who receives good care and affection from the staff. The manager is amazing, and she takes a personal interest in each resident. All the staff relate to residents on a personal level throughout the home. It gives us great peace of mind to know that my brother is living in such a caring and supportive environment. We cannot thank the staff enough and thoroughly recommend The Links to any family needing care for a loved one.
My dad, who suffers from vascular dementia, has been a resident at The Links since March 2023. Prior to his arrival, my dad had two unsuccessful stints at other care homes due to his challenging behaviour. The Links have been superb! All the staff understand dementia behaviours and know how to manage my dad without him feeling agitated. The Links is always clean and the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. The staff always provide updates with regards to doctors' appointments etc. I'm thankful the family and I have managed to find a care home that can cater for my dad's needs.
Our mother is a resident at the Links and we can't fault the home's care and support to keep her in contact with her loved ones. Most recently, the staff granted and organised an overnight visit and sent a carer to support the visit to Wales. The accompanying support lady was amazing with our mum and made the visit go even better than initially imagined. She was extremely professional and a credit to the Links. We are so grateful, thank you.
The staff really are like family at The Links Care Centre. It is a safe and friendly place. From my interactions with some of the staff members, who are very welcoming, I can see they show diligence and genuine patient care. My dad has received great care and affection from the staff. They are very compassionate and supportive - I can see a positive difference already. The manager is fantastic; she puts great effort into her role and tries her best to accommodate and make adjustments. I admire her thoughtfulness and support. Thank you all for the excellent work and everything you do to support my dad!
I enjoy all the things and how decorative the home is. I have all the support from all the staff that I need, whenever I need it. We have an excellent activity coordinator that does all sorts of activities with everyone and gives everyone the time we need to stay and keep active. The care coordinators are amazing and help me whenever I need them to. I recommend the Links to anyone as they have everything you need, especially the cafe bar.
My brother who suffers from Kosokov Dementia has been a resident at The Links Care Centre since March 2022. As an ex-military man, I cannot state how impressed I am with the care and treatment that my brother receives from all the staff at this outstanding establishment. The leadership, direction, commitment and tone of The Links are set by its manager who leads her team with vigour and total dedication and professionalism, whilst at all times setting the highest of standards. From the office staff to the youngest of the carers at The Links, I have experienced on my regular visits to see my brother, nothing but the highest standards of care, dedication, helpfulness, skill, knowledge and most importantly, compassion. I am regularly informed about my brother's progress and whenever I call The Links or ask a question on one of my visits, all the staff could not be more helpful. Knowing my brother is in the best of hands gives me and his family great peace of mind. Thank you.
My mum has Lewy Body Dementia and she has been through the mill over the last two years. She has been passed from pillar to post, in and out of various care homes. Unfortunately, none of the care homes could meet her needs and to be told once again she had to move to another facility. I feel absolutely confident for the very first time, that she is now in the right place at The Links. Having moved so many times, this has set her back and has been challenging for her to say the least. I’ve only been able to visit Links once since my mum took residency, due to Covid. I asked the Manager if I could take my dog, Woody, as my mum still remembers him. It was a lovely, positive and heartwarming visit. I felt completely reassured that my mum is now in the right place and all her needs are met. All the staff are lovely and treat my mum with warmth and dignity. I also felt at ease when I visited and was made to feel welcome.
My lovely husband was admitted to the Links from another care home that were unable to deal with his current needs. Luckily for all of us, he got admitted to the Links. Not long after admission, you could see that he was putting weight on and looking more like the man he was. Obviously, all the love and care that the staff give him was proof of how he was improving and becoming happier in himself. The Manager is very approachable and listens to you, not that I have needed to talk much to her. As a family, we are so grateful for all the care he is receiving and not just my husband as when I have needed someone to reach out to, the amazing receptionists have both been there for me as well. My husband has been in the Links for about a year and I cannot speak highly enough of everyone working there, the place is immaculately cleaned and I have always felt safe during these difficult times, with all the restrictions due to the Covid virus. Very well done -you are all amazing.
I just want to say a massive thank you for everything. My dad is happy at The Links. I'm happy I got to be Dad's Essential Care Giver - it means so much, especially now. My dad's care is brilliant. Thank you all for everything.
My dad has been a resident at The Links for almost a year now! I have been so pleased with the care and attention that my dad gets and not only my dad but I feel really cared for too. My dad's wife had not managed to visit him due to covid and her being in another home too. Eventually, we managed to bring her to see him - it was an unbelievable visit! The staff were amazing on this occasion and made my dad's wife feel so well loved. A bouquet of flowers was given to her by my dad, there was 1950"s music playing in the background a lovely buffet dinner plus non-alcoholic champagne. Tears of pure joy were rolling down our cheeks! They really pulled all the stops out for what was a beautiful reunion of man and wife. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the caring and nursing of my dad!
My son moved to The Links Care Centre in 2019 and since his admission, he has presented with significant challenges which I feared would lead to him losing his placement. However, due to the dedication, persistence and hard work from the manager and the staff team, he has made huge progress in all areas. I wanted to say thank you to all involved in turning his life around for which I am truly grateful. The manager is passionate and caring in her role and dedicated to improving the lives of the people living at The Links. Thank you all so much for turning his life around which is something I thought would never happen.
Wish to thank you all for your kindness, help and treatment my brother received for the past 12-years in your care and the care and respect given to him in his final days. All the phone calls and updates I received, I was allowed to phone at any time as we could not be there due to covid and everyone was so kind, it was a great comfort to me and all his sisters. Thank you also for the support you gave, as I was able to achieve his final request back to his final resting place in Ireland. Thank you all; we will never forget the kindness also shown to us on visiting The Links. Thank you all from all of us.
I am truly grateful for the outstanding care The Links team have given my brother this last year, especially during this pandemic, always ensuring he is safe, clean and healthy. I am in regular contact with the care manager, and she is the best, I honestly can't thank you enough for what you do, the communication is excellent. Always making sure you meet my brother's needs in every way. A massive thank you from me and my family.
