A big thank you for the wonderful care my mother received from April 2024 to February 2025. She quickly came to regard Springfield as her home - a tribute to the warm and happy atmosphere you have created. Whenever we visited we were struck by the rapport that her carers had with her - we felt that they appreciated her personality and brought it out through their kind words and sense of fun. Carers became her friends, and ours too. Living at a distance from Bradford we had to rely on telephone contact to keep in touch. We are very grateful to everyone for being so patient in dealing with our many calls, and for facilitating our frequent chats with my mother. Thank you also for the marvellous send-off you gave her when she left to move to a home nearer to where we live. We will be very fortunate if her new home provides the same warm and caring environment that we all enjoyed at Springfield.

Always caring, looked after my father for two and a half years really well. The care home is clean and the staff are really caring and would definitely recommend this service to other people looking for a care home for their relatives when you can't look after them anymore.

My mother passed on the 17th of January 2025, my sister were in attendance at the time of death which gave me great comfort at the time as I live abroad. The overall experience and aftercare of my mother and sister were outstanding, my mother spent 8 happy years at the home and was very well looked after.

My husband settled in to care quite well. Was cared for by a very caring team. Where I visited regularly and was pleased with all the care he received at Springfield until he passed away peacefully on 29/01/2025.

A friednly cheerful home the residents are like one happy family. As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted cheerfully by the reception team. The home is spotlessly clean. Mum had a lovely room which was made into her own nice and cosy. Meals are plentiful and look lovely varied choice. There is a lovely outside space and gardens. There are various choice of activities going on. I cannot praise the staff enough for all they have done, they are fantastic and are very caring to the residents and family. I would definitely recommend Springfield.

My mum passed away in Springfield last month, she was a resident for just over a year. The care and dedication she received enabled her to recover from a serious illness last Christmas. Mum celebrated her wonderful 90th Birthday with a lovely party in July. Mum requested to remain at Springfield to the end of her days and the nursing staff, carers working closely with the community staff put everything in place to offer her palliative care of the highest standard. Mum really valued her time at Springfield where she thrived. As a family, we will always be grateful. Thank you all!

My mother has been a resident since January 2024 and we are thrilled with the care she receives. Mum likes to be in the main lounge and loves to chat with other residents and staff. Staff always take the time to talk to Mum and the ones I see when I visit, are gentle, kind and caring to all the residents. There have been some recent updates to the decor and the home is smart and spotless. I could not ask for more for my mum. She is well settled and very well cared for.

My father was a resident of Springfield for 8 years. Over this time the staff loved and cared for my father and I had peace of mind leaving him in their hands. In the last days of his life, the staff were amazing. They gave me a room to stay in so I could be at my father's side until he peacefully passed away at home where he felt the most secure. They treated my father and the family with dignity, care and respect and at this very sad time, the family have so much gratitude for this. The home is spotless and the decor is constantly maintained. The gardens are beautiful too. An outstanding home that I highly recommend. The family and I cannot thank the staff enough for their dedicated care and hard work.

Superb care home, outstanding in all areas. The staff are all amazing and treat your loved one as their own, could not ask for a better home for my uncle. The home is always spotless and staff are always on hand to help with any questions to or assist in any way. My uncle has settled into his life at Springfield with ease. All credit to the outstanding home. A star!

I am very pleased with the care my mum is receiving at Springfield. Moving from her own home was a difficult step and the staff in the home made that a supportive move. Her care and support are lovely, and visitors are made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended. Thanks!

I feel that my aunt receives excellent care at Springfield, she appears happy and has settled well, she has a lovely room, which I know she is happy with and she seems to get on well with the staff and enjoys joining in on events offered to her. Although I am unable to visit as much as I would like due to living 100 miles away I find the staff very friendly and welcoming when I am able to visit, they keep me informed of any issues/events by phone or email.

Mum has been very happy living in Springfield since moving in in January 2024. She had been very poorly and not able to properly look after herself at home, but since living in Springfield, she has thrived and is very comfortable in her new surroundings. The staff are all very friendly and supportive, the food is plentiful - with some good choices - and she has a lovely cosy room that she has made her own. Visitors are encouraged to drop by at any time (avoiding meal times if possible), and there is a lovely, caring atmosphere whenever I visit Mum. I would definitely recommend Springfield to anyone needing a care home.

Springfield has looked after my husband for about three years, and we couldn't be more happy with his care. The staff are wonderful and can't do enough for him. We are always very welcome when we visit him and have absolutely nothing but praise for the care home.

My brother who suffered a stroke was admitted to Springfield during covid and obviously, we were unable to view the premises before he went in which was a bit of a worry. However, I can honestly say that his care is more than excellent! The staff are amazing and seeing the smile on my brother's face when I visit, assures me that we couldn't have chosen a better care home. They are an amazing team and treat all their residents as if they are members of their own family.

My Dad moved to Springfield Care Home in January 2024, he'd spent a few months in hospital and was not well enough to go home, he was also dealing with my mum passing away at the same time. This was a very stressful time for all the family, Springfield were fantastic, settling Dad in and comforting him at a really distressing time. The staff are wonderful, understanding and they really do care about the residents. Staff are easy to speak to regarding concerns or queries. The rooms are comfortable and Dad has been well looked after with personal hygiene, washing, help with dressing and lovely homemade meals and cakes. Myself and my brother feel so relieved that Dad is safe and being well cared for. Peace of mind really has made a big difference. Thank you.

My mum lived at Springfield Care Home since 2019, we visited and chose the care home following recommendations from others and the response we received when visiting for the first time. Mum's needs changed in the time she was a resident at Springfield which meant a move to another unit within the home and later a return to the original unit. There was clear consideration of Mum's needs as well as clear communication with us as her family. Whilst it was never Mum's wish to go into a care setting it was a needs must decision the home became an extension of her family and for the most part she was well cared for and treated well. We appreciate the care she was given and the respect we were afforded as her family. We have valued and appreciated the case and support Mum received from all the team at Springfield and would not hesitate to recommend the home to others. Thank you again to all for the support Mum and ourselves received in the 5 years she was part of the Springfield family.

My mum moved to Springfield Care Home in Buttershaw in January 2024 when care at home was no longer possible. We couldn't have wished for a better place for her to be. The staff are wonderful - they are not just doing their jobs, you can tell that they genuinely care about the residents. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and they are always willing to go the extra mile. The facilities are very good, the rooms are comfortable, and the freshly prepared food is excellent. I can't comment on activities as Mum was too frail to leave her room, but there is a varied programme for those who wish to participate. I would highly recommend it to other people looking for care for themselves or a relative.
