View Full Details of Corinthian House Nursing & Care HomeStaff very friendly and helpful. Helped Mum greatly. Lovely facilities, can't do enough. Great activities and day out for residents. Fresh food made daily. Easy to speak to anyone and get any more information needed.
The care team at Corinthian House Nursing & Care Home are world-class. Experienced, caring and kind. The support staff are excellent, management team nurses are excellent. They are all giving my mum world-class care. They look after the family as well when it matters. It is a huge relief to have our mum looked after in such an excellent place. In my view, Corinthian House is outstanding in every way. I cannot find the words to thank everyone. Thank you.
I would like to thank a particular member of staff for her time and patience, on Sunday 14th May 2023, when discussing my dad's care needs and all of the help that she gave me, with working towards a solution. She is such a pleasant, efficient young lady. Thanks.
Very pleased with the new management team now. A member of staff is working hard to make lots of changes in the care home and it seems to be working. My mum is now getting more care which was needed so she's improving and seems a lot more settled.
Although the whole team are amazing and has given my mum so much love and care, I feel the need to mention 3 people in particular, these ladies have been so helpful and have shone in my eyes, gone above and beyond.
I found the staff and service at Corinthian House Care Home to be severely lacking in every aspect. The ‘care’ my grandfather received in his very short stay here (we moved him to another home after noticing his drastic weight loss in the three months he’d been a resident) was way below what should be the average for a care home! Having made several complaints we are still awaiting an outcome as most staff dealing with this have now left.
Good communication with management. All staff are helpful and accommodating and deal with the residents with patience and understanding. It is a safe and friendly environment.
Everything is good thank you. Keep up the good work.
All staff are amazing and treat my mum with lots of respect and love, we appreciate you all so much! Thank you.
My mother is happy there and settled in quickly despite not wanting to move out of her home. The staff are approachable and friendly and seem to care about the residents. She has commented more than once about how nice the meals are and usually eats everything. The residents seem to enjoy the activities. They are coping well keeping all safe from COVID-19. Mum has her own room with an en-suite toilet.
Mother was offered a respite bed at Corinthian House following major electrical failure at her property. The team came out to assess her and were very prompt, professional and polite. On arrival, several members of the team entered her room to introduce themselves to us and mum. We were left with no doubt she was in very safe hands. She was so happy, we had a job persuading her to return home. Well done and thank you.
My auntie has settled well here. When we go visit her which is once a week she seems very happy and well. The staff are lovely and there is always a variety if activities on offer.
I go once a week to see my friend. The staff are very friendly and helpful to me, it just seems a warm place.
My experience of Corinthian House is extremely positive. From all staff members to management, nothing is ever too much trouble. They treat you like extended family and my mother is being very well looked after. She is being treated with the utmost dignity. I will never be able to thank them enough for what they have done.
Just a quick review to show appreciation to all the staff looking after my dad. The care for him is excellent but I wanted to offer thanks more for my mother. Mum has struggled whilst Dad was in hospital, being out of the house for 10 hours each day for over 3 months. I live 100 miles away in Wales and was worrying over her more than Dad. The change in her is now remarkable. She is even fed every day1 Many thanks to all at Corinthian House.
Meeting with a nurse to explain my wife's needs went quite well.
A nice care home with great staff who treat the residents like family.
My mother is happy, secure and well cared for. Staff are really kind and caring.
The staff are lovely, caring, fun and hardworking. They know the residents and also they recognise the friends and relatives who visit them. This may sound obvious but previous experience with homes my father stayed in, this, unfortunately, was not the case. (Agency staff mainly). The food is good and the dining room is a credit to the staff - who take the time and trouble to set each table beautifully! My stepdads room is clean, tidy and bright. The home smells good. (Not over scented etc). It is clean, bright, fresh and well decorated and maintained.
Corinthian House Nursing & Dementia Unit where my sister resided there from 2013-2017 had nothing but kindness, compassion and loving care. The staff were fantastic and nothing seemed to be any trouble. During her last days, endless cups of coffee, tea, sandwiches and help for all the family. I wish all the staff could be given gold medals. Well done and thank you to every employee there.
