View Full Details of Barchester Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care HomeOur parents arrived at this home during the COVID pandemic in October 2020. My brothers and are extremely grateful to the staff at Stamford Bridge Beaumont for the wonderful care that was given to our mum and dad. It was a huge wrench for them to leave their home and relocate to your care home so that they could be cared for and nearer to us. When they arrived we worried that mum's health was so poor that she would not survive long. However, thanks to the care she received from dedicated staff she was nursed back to good health and able to carry on, make new friends and enjoy being part of a community again as well as sharing 4 more years with dad. With their support, she was able to continue to care for him as his dementia progressed. She spoke fondly of many of the staff as if they were members of her new family. This gave us all great comfort and we were able to see the positive effect it had in their smiling faces on our many visits.
The care that my sister was given at Barchester Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home was marvellous. Could not thank all staff enough. The home was so clean. Very caring staff.
Firstly without this wonderful home and excellent staff. From the cleaners, to the nursing staff, each and everyone of them are fantastic, caring and kind. We as a family would not have coped with dementia. The nursing care is truly something I've never experienced. The activities make my mum came to life, especially the singing. I live in London and I'm always welcomed here with open arms. The food is so wonderful. My mum has started eating again.
Always welcomed when we arrive, with smiles and a feeling of happiness and friendly staff. The staff are always on the ball if any of the residents need attention of any kind. My friend and I are more than happy with the care my friend's mother received here.
Very pleasant. Always clean and warm. Able to have a coffee etc. Nice in summer when we can go and sit outside. Good parking. My friend is well looked after.
I visit my husband at the care home on a regular basis, i.e. two/three times per week. He started off in a small room and after a number of months was moved to a larger room. The armchair in this room was very uncomfortable so I got him a new riser/recliner. There was no quilt on the bed so I ordered him new bedding, including a quilt. The furniture in the room is so outdated and does not even resemble your TV adverts. For the money I have to pay out, with the help of the council, it does not give value for money.
Aunite has never been as contented and settled as she is in the Beaumont Care Home. She loves the staff, enjoys her food, has made friends and loves having her hair cut. Also, she enjoys having her nails polished. Overall, very happy - 100%.
Lovely welcome and greeting at reception. All staff friendly, helpful and polite. Lovely, well-presented surroundings, clean, light and airy. Loved the old photos of Stamford Bridge displayed on the walls. Personable and thoughtful little touches such as resident's birthdays of the month. Lots of activities on offer, lovely range. Wow! What an amazing dining room, decor, menu and table settings, like a restaurant - what a lovely experience for residents. My aunt loves it here.
The care home team have been just superb, not only at looking after Mum but supporting and watching out for our family. Mum, sadly, passed away last month after a difficult few years. We could not have hoped for better care, support and an end to Mum's days. The care home staff work as a team, care about their residents and to us, became a second family. The manager and deputy manager of the home have done such a good job creating a professional yet warm and caring environment.
I wish to compliment Barchester Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home for the excellent care my wife received there. The management team's positive leadership has resulted in a lovely "family atmosphere" which has transformed the home. Staff in every department have embraced the manager and deputy managers' vision to provide an environment where everyone is valued. When my wife was on "end-of-life care" the devotion and love shown by all the staff was wonderful and they could not have been more supportive. The team at Stamford Bridge Beaumont deserve some recognition and praise for what they have achieved so far. They should be commended. Thank you Beaumont from me and all the family.
Overall the care my great auntie receives is absolutely excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. We as a family feel settled, reassured, comfortable, and at ease knowing our relative is receiving such great care and love. All the team from cleaners to management are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Our auntie has been with Beaumont for nearly a year and since day 1 she has received excellent care. Each time we visit we are always updated on anything whether it is that she's had a tough morning to that she's been out and about shopping with the activities team, communication with the carers and nurses is excellent.
End-of-life care. My husband was admitted here. He came from a hospital outside this area and was in a bad state from not receiving the proper care. He received the best of care, the staff were wonderful at every level. He was treated with respect and was allowed dignity despite being so very ill. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was excellent, chef did all she could to build him up and tempt his appetite. The nursing sisters and nurse practioner were excellent, trying to control his pain levels and I truly feel we were surrounded by angels in the last 3 weeks of his life. There was a friendly feel to the place as every member of staff at all levels worked and laughed together. Their interaction with the residents was a delight to see. The management staff were friendly and efficient. The cleaning staff kept the place immaculate and had a nice rapport while cleaning his room daily. Thank you all so much for your care and support. We will always remember you all.
My care was excellent during the day. Lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble. A very happy atmosphere. During the night, was bad a couple of nights, not so good. Staff not too good on English and quite uncertain at times as to what I wished.
My very elderly mother entered Beaumont Care Home Stamford Bridge extremely ill. She had dementia, heart failure, mitral cusp prolapse, cranial arteritis and rheumatoid arthritis. She was admitted after hospital falls. She was bedbound and doubly incontinent. She was not eating and seemingly unable to communicate. Thanks to Beaumont's excellent care she began to feed herself. She began to recognise family and friends. She enjoyed going through family photograph albums - identifying faces and handwriting from the distant past. There was never a smell. She became settled and content. The care of Beaumont and family and friends gave her a year of kindness and happy parting.
The care home is clean and tidy and does not smell. It has a caring atmosphere and the home is pleasantly quiet. The staff are very kind, patient, attentive, friendly and above all else very caring. My mother was always dressed in clean clothes, Mum never smelt and above all else I thought she was happy. It is always a nightmare when setting out on the journey to find a good home for one's parents as one hears so many horror stories - but I would recommend Barchester Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home.
Dad has been at the Barchester Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home for the last ten months, unable to return home after a stroke. In that time, he has settled in better than we could have hoped and seems as content as he can be, given his situation. The care staff look after him so well and treat him with respect and dignity but he is also able to enjoy a laugh and joke with them which I know he enjoys. They and all the other staff are friendly and welcoming to us and all his friends who visit regularly. The home is spotlessly clean and warm but the main thing for me is that I know that Dad is safe and well looked after.
I had a hip replacement on 10/01/24 at the hospital. As I live on my own I needed to be monitored for 2 weeks. I cannot speak highly enough of how I was looked after in Beaumont. Nothing was too much trouble. I especially want to thank the manager for helping me to relax and to help me to recover. Also a very big thank you to five members of staff in particular. You all made my stay very enjoyable and certainly memorable. Laughs galore. An afternoon gala especially.
Dad came to The Beaumont in Stamford Bridge 20 months ago. I can honestly say the love and care he has received has been amazing. The staff are always friendly and smiling, and nothing is too much trouble. We, as a family, have been touched by their dedication. The home is beautifully clean, and it feels like a real home from home. Dad has been so well cared for i.e. hairdressing and shaving, all his clothes freshly laundered and ironed. They never failed to keep us updated with any medical concerns, phoning us up and letting us know. I can’t sing their praises enough. Thank you to all of you.
The care home is clean and warm. And the staff are very kind and caring with my mother. Respect and dignity are vitally important when patients like my mother with Alzheimer's are concerned, and my mother receives both.
When we had to move Mother into care, we were very concerned about her settling in. We were very pleased with the way she was treated by all the staff. She has been well looked after and entertained. She thinks it is a marvellous place to live.
