Dad absolutely loves the home. He loves the food and the care he gets is second to none. He is well thought of by the staff and he has a relationship with each one of them. They provide excellent care and he regularly tells me how great they are.

Riverhead Hall is in a beautiful setting, with gorgeous safe gardens for the residents and families to enjoy. The inside of the home is welcoming, bright and spotlessly clean. The individual suites are very personalised and create a home-from-home feeling, which is reflected throughout. The dining room opens out onto the gardens and resembles a beautiful tea room. The quality and choice of food is excellent and meal times, like everything else at Riverhead Hall, are very person-centred with plenty of staff on hand to help where needed. The activities and events are excellent, there is always something going on to take part in. There are also quiet areas and space if needed. The care and activities are very person-centred with staff ensuring each person feels valued. I would give the staff 10 out of 5 if I could. Their care, devotion and skills are what makes my Mum so very happy and settled here. Staff and residents always appear happy.

Staff always friendly and helpful towards visitors and residents. Lovely gardens and patio area also communal areas always comfortable and warm. Any medical issues are dealt with immediately be it calling a doctor. Would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for somewhere for their loved one.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Home is very clean and tidy all residents are very happy. Plenty of entertainment and activities to occupy the residents if they want to join in. Beautiful gardens well kept for residents and their visitors to have a walk-in.

We are delighted we chose Riverhead Hall for my brother and were immediately taken with the friendly atmosphere, its two sitting rooms, bright, airy dining room, comfortable bedrooms, and fabulous, accessible garden. The standard of care is very good and my brother's needs are catered for in a sensitive, caring manner. The home is well maintained and the standard of cleanliness is very good; the meals too are of a very good standard and the cook produces lovely cakes for residents' birthdays. The manager oversees a lovely, happy workforce with the gardener, maintenance workers, catering, and laundry staff alike, interacting with the residents and joining in their activities too. The activities organiser is exceptional, planning activities for each morning and afternoon of every day with music and singers coming in a number of times a month. Riverhead provides a safe, happy, and exceptionally friendly place for my brother to live and into which he settled with ease.

The moment my father was welcomed at Riverhead Hall, I knew we had found the right place for him to be cared for. His needs are very well met. Staff have taken the time to get to know him in order to make his stay more personal and comfortable. We as a family are welcomed at Riverhead at any time of day and have spent quality time enjoying the various activities and entertainment with him, allowing us to have cherished memories. The online page is a fabulous way for us to see him enjoying the company of other residents when we are not there. Every member of staff is approachable. The feeling within Riverhead is extremely homely and nothing is too much trouble. The residents are entertained with lots of activities and different areas to sit and a beautiful garden. I rate Riverhead as outstanding and would recommend them to everyone!

My grandma who has lived at Riverhead Hall for the last 3 years has received the best care and is very happy here, all the staff team are very kind and caring with my grandma, and are very patient with her also treat her with dignity and respect! Wouldn't want my grandma to be anywhere else.

My mum has been in the home for 2 years now and I cannot fault the place the staff, rooms, food, entertainment are all really friendly and helpful. Mum has settled in lovely and it was the best decision for her to come to Riverhead Hall Care Home.

My mum is very happy at Riverhead Hall, the care she receives from absolutely all of the staff whatever their usual role is be it gardening maintenance kitchen laundry or care is of a very high standard. They have made Mum and all of her visitors feel like one of the family. The activities put on really make a difference to how Mum is feeling and I frequently recommend the home to anyone I meet who is looking for care for a relative. The staff always looking for ways to improve the quality of life for the residents and keep me informed on how Mum is doing. They have really helped the family to cope with changes in Mum and have provided training in dealing with Mum's condition, a service which I have not come across before. A fantastic place! Thank you, Riverhead.

We are pleased to see that the service provided for my Dad is of a high standard and has been consistently so since he moved in. His room is comfortable, the food is of a good standard and the carers really connect with Dad and it's nice to see that there is not a huge turnover of staff. The entertainment and activities provided really make a difference.

My mum has been in the care home for over a year. She is very happy and very well looked after. Any problems if Mum is poorly or anything else the staff always ring to inform me and sometimes Mum just wants a chat with me so they ring and we have a chat, it’s never an issue. Mum always comments on the food is good so it must be, she has always liked her food. She loves all the staff they are very good with the residents and she loves all the daily activities they do with the residents keeping her occupied so she’s never bored. I would highly recommend it to anybody.

Highly recommend. The staff are fantastic, always friendly welcoming and helpful. You can tell they care about the residents. Always some activity for the residents to join in. One staff member organises fantastic things, especially the Riverfest last year. The home is undoubtedly amazing for my uncle who is well cared for and well fed and if he has any issues, then it's dealt with immediately. Can't fault them.

I cannot fault Riverhead Hall. My in-laws moved in last year but my father-in-law died last October. The care tended to my father-in-law, my mother-in-law and my family was outstanding. There are too many examples of the high standards to write here but my mother-in-law is very happy to be there with huge improvements in state of health, happiness and contentment.

My mother has had a long and very pleasant stay at this lovely care home. The staff are friendly and caring, providing my mother with the constant care she needs. They always talk to her in a cheerful and encouraging way and include her in as many activities as possible. They are gentle and respectful when they move her and help her to be comfortable. They give her professional care but in a homely, sensitive manner. She is always happy to see them! I am very pleased with the care she receives.

As a family we were all very emotional, having to put Dad in a care home. Dad has dementia. From the first time we had a meeting with the manager, we were made to feel welcome. When Dad went into Riverhead Hall everyone made Dad and me, my sister and Mum feel welcome. Everyone is so dedicated to their job. Dad has been in 6.5 weeks now, I ring on days I cannot get to visit and it's never a problem for whoever answers the call, they are always available to give me an update on Dad. If he isn't feeling well, someone will call and make sure we are aware of what is happening. As a family, we feel part of a bigger family now as not only do they all do an amazing job of caring for Dad but they have shown compassion to us all when we have struggled with the transition of Dad settling in and we are so grateful of all the dedication and hard work they all do with a smile on their faces. Thank you to everyone who helps make our dad feel part of his new home in Riverhead Hall.

The care for my mother at the end of her life has been unbelievably loving and thoughtful. The staff are a complete delight and treated her with the utmost kindness, dignity and love. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you all.

This is the 3rd time my father has been to stay at Riverhead Hall. Each time he received excellent care, from each and every member of staff who he came into contact with. I personally want to thank the Manager for having such a good team, who go above and beyond their remit, to make the residents feel loved and part of a big family. I would recommend this care home to anyone wanting that bit of TLC, because you will certainly receive it.

I cannot fault the care my mother continues to receive at Riverhead Hall. All the staff are friendly and helpful and really seem to care about the residents. It feels like a little family. The rooms are fresh and clean.

My grandma has lived at Riverhead Hall for around five years and I would not want her to be in any other care home. Riverhead Hall is lovely, the staff are all very helpful and friendly and most importantly my grandma is happy there. They have a lifestyle coordinator who provides lots of activities and my grandma loves to join in. The home itself is lovely and clean and grandma's room is always immaculate. Riverhead Hall is set on beautiful grounds and my grandma loves to spend time in the garden chatting with other residents. I can recommend this home to anyone.
