I would recommend Saltshouse Haven care home, as the staff is frendly, communicate with famly members, are very good with the residents. Activity Person is very friendly and communicates with family. The care is very outstanding, Mealtimes are very good, always omething for residents to do. It reminds me of when I used to work at a care home.

My father was at the home for over 5 years and he was very happy there. The staff are very dedicated and provided my father with excellent care, especially in the last couple of months of his life. The care he received in his last few months was excellent and they made sure he was comfortable and had his dignity. I could not have wished for better care.

The staff are very approachable and always keep us informed of any problems. All staff are very pleasant with us and have a good relationship with our Mum.

The care Mum receives in Coniston House is very good, she gets very personal care catered to her own needs. Her room is her own space and I am allowed to visit her in her room and personalise it as she wishes, I bring the dogs to visit her as she wishes and take her out for meals and home visits. The home have an excellent entertainment worker who works hard to try and keep all the residents entertained and takes them out for visits if possible. Complaints (although few) are always dealt with quickly and with care.

I find the home a very pleasant and relaxing place to reside. If I have any problems the staff are more than willing to help. The best part of the residence is the wonderful facilities organised which I think relaxes a lot of residents who as I did could sulk in their rooms and without these excellent facilities, the home would not be half as pleasant so a massive thank you is to all the staff, particularly the facilities organisers.

My Dad has now been here since July 2024. He is very settled thanks to the care and support of all the staff. The activities they provide are excellent and ensure all residents are involved. Christmas celebrations have been excellent. Thank you.

Seems my Mother is settling down nicely. The staff are all friendly and helpful and understand her needs and personality at her worst moments. At the moment I am happy that she is here.

All the staff are really caring and attentive, always happy. The rooms and surrounds are all clean and tidy. The food always looks nice, with good portions.

I would like to thank all the staff on Preston Lodge for looking after my mam. You all do an amazing job. Can't fault anyone. I'm not happy with all the staff you are changing. The lady who runs Preston Lodge is an amazing person, goes up and beyond to help all the residents. I'm just hoping my mam does get all the help she needs, as she loves all the carers that are there now, as she has got used to them, this is through bad management that is happening.

The staff are always pleasant and have good banter with the residents. There is a good activities team who always engage with residents and take them out whenever they can. We are very happy with the care being given.

Friendly staff and helpful. They know how to handle residents when they are difficult and can distract them. Nothing is too much for the staff which is appreciated.

The staff are all wonderful, very caring. Nothing is too much trouble. Always keep us informed of Mum's progress or illness by phone or verbal messages. They all deserve a massive pat on the back.

The staff was very helpful. They did their best to look after my husband even when short-staffed. When he was dying they were very good, with no complaints about his care and they were very good to my family and me as well. I wish to thank them all.

Saltshouse Haven is an outstanding care home. The staff are so caring and the residents want for nothing. We enjoy the way they interact with us during visits, great value for money.

Lovely staff - day and night. It took Mum a few months to settle in, working out each other's ways but now she loves it and is going to start mixing in the lounge. Thank you everyone.

Mum is very well cared for by the fabulous team. The grounds are really well maintained and the housekeeping staff also do a terrific job. The team in the laundry are efficient and friendly. The activities team work hard to keep everyone engaged. The carers do a wonderful job, despite the challenging nature of their work. It's a relief to know our mum is safe.

My Mam's birthday was on the 5th of August. I would like to say thank you for making it brilliant. We really do appreciate all that you do for her and couldn't wish for her to be in a better place. She has settled in really well and that's all down to the lovely carers. She can be her cheeky self and loves it when you are cheeky back to her. That's the Mam I know and love but hadn't seen for ages before she came to you. You can all take credit for that because you brought her back out of herself. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
