View Full Details of Eaton Court Nursing HomeMum is happy here. If she is happy then so am I. Luckily also despite Alzheimer's, she is very compliant goes with the flow and enjoys activities with lovely staff. After being a full-time carer for her for 2 years before she came to you I was finding it very stressful, but now we are both happy and appreciate all that is done for her.
The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend it. Medical care is always on hand. Very clean facilities.
All the staff and carers are extremely helpful and friendly towards my sister, and she enjoys her stay.
Eaton Court is a lovely home with a family atmosphere.
So happy with my daughter's care and in herself she seems very relaxed and we can't thank all the staff enough.
Great care home and staff. My grandad is happy here.
I feel mum's room always looks unkept, with lots of discarded items around. Mum's personal belongings are often knocked over etc. Mum often hadn't been cleaned when we arrived at 11 am.
My friend is doing really well since being at Easton Court.
My mother has been confined to a Careflex chair for eight years since suffering a stroke, despite being completely dependent she has never had any pressure care problems. I like how the staff include everyone in the activities despite their abilities. Eton Court is always clean and tidy and smells fresh.
Mum is always treated with care and respect. The carers and nursing staff are so kind, lovely and friendly. It is a very nice nursing home, a home away from home. We enjoy visiting and feel as a family, that mum is very happy at Eaton Court. Thank you to everyone.
Always found the Nursing Home to be very welcoming and friendly. The home is very clean and tidy with dedicated staff and the building is always warm.
My father lived for 4 years at Eaton Court before his recent death aged 93. My mother lived there for a shorter period before her death in 2020. Throughout this time their care has always been excellent. The staff are very friendly and treat the residents more like family. Their job is not always easy but usually tackled with a positive attitude and where appropriate a smile on their faces. Thank you all for all your efforts. My family are all convinced we made the right choice for Mam and Dad.
The staff are friendly, extremely caring and generous with their time. We only wish we had placed my dad here sooner. The home is a hive of activity, with lots going on to enrich the residents. We can not thank the team at Eaton Court enough.
The staff at Eaton Court are all friendly and courteous and go out of their way to meet Mum's needs.
I moved my friend, for whom I have power of attorney, from another residential home in Grimsby, which can be very traumatic for someone with dementia. That friend has been met with kindness, encouragement and is receiving excellent care, despite being very negative and at times very awkward. I am so pleased with all aspects of the home. It is clean, bright and very welcoming. All the staff are hardworking, efficient and friendly and the food is very good. There is a lot on offer for residents who choose to participate. The manager is very approachable and the place runs like a well oiled machine. Organisation and communication are excellent. I have nothing but admiration for staff who work in the care sector, it is definitely a vocation! Well done Eaton Court!
When you have to have a loved one needing 24-hour care it's hard because you feel you should be doing it. My mum needed this care. I am so pleased my mum went here. The care she received was better than excellent all the staff where so kind and caring I can not thank them enough. The home itself is lovely, clean, no urine smell that you get in a lot of homes. All I can say is thank you from bottom of my heart for the care you gave my mum.
Our much-loved family member has been a resident at Eaton Court for only a relatively short time. She was previously undertaking specialist rehabilitation support at Goole Neurological Rehabilitation Unit. Sadly despite the Rehabilitation Teams specialist care our loved one did not progress and as a family, we were told it was time to identify residential/nursing care provision. With excellent support from an adult social care agency, we began the heart-wrenching process to move our loved one closer home to all of us. From the very first phone call of enquiry to Eaton Court, I felt listened to and reassured. We met with the manager and she answered our questions with empathy and honesty. We found the establishment bright and spacious with friendly staff. Our loved one is now settled in and she has received excellent nursing care and continues to do so. Staff are attentive and treat our loved one with dignity and respect. Thank you all of you. We appreciate you all. Stay safe.
The environment is lovely. Clean and lots of natural lighting. Nice communal areas and dining room. Staff are incredibly hardworking, kind and contribute to a positive atmosphere. The activity workers are creative, fun and inclusive. The managers are approachable, responsive and professional. I feel all staff go out of their way to help residents and families and friends. The food is also absolutely delicious and nutritious. There is a real family atmosphere and relations get to know each other and support each other too. This home is a model for what a care home should be. My only negative is that I know care home staff are low paid but highly skilled and should receive a better salary than they do.
Mum has been a resident since August 2019. She was made to feel special from the moment we stepped into the home. The home itself is so bright, plenty of natural light and all the rooms including common areas, are well decorated. Plenty of activities during the day by staff and all staff make an effort to chat with the residents. Mum is really happy there, which means I and other family members feel confident she is getting the best care.
The care home has a friendly welcoming atmosphere. I regularly visit with my young children and everyone is lovely with them. We have got to know other residents and their families from sitting with each other in the communal area (before the lockdown). For my Grandad’s 90th birthday, the catering staff made him a lovely cake. Throughout the lockdown, the staff have been lovely helping me to speak to my grandad on the phone which I don’t usually do and I’ve even managed to see him on a video call which made both of our day.
