View Full Details of Brooklands Care HomeThe staff and service are absolutely excellent.
Since my father-in-law moved into Brooklands Care Home, he has become more sociable and outgoing. The staff are great with him and always pleasant to talk to. He is pleased with his room and enjoys the food provided. There has been an improvement in him since he moved into Brooklands which we are pleased to see.
Delighted to have found my father a space at this wonderful facility. A real home from home. Brooklands Care Home has a friendly, family feel. Staff are very attentive to his specific needs and I can see that Dad feels relaxed and happy. He says he feels well looked after and he is enjoying the food, facilities and company of the other residents. It has provided me with peace of mind knowing Dad is well looked after. Thanks to all the wonderful staff!
Brooklands Care Home can only be described as excellent! It is more than a care home. The staff are outstanding and my mother-in-law calls them "her friends". My mother-in-law is treated with dignity and the staff are so caring which for us, gives peace of mind that she is being well looked after.
Wonderful place for my mum to be. To know she is looked after so well means everything. Staff are so lovely, so much so you see them as friends rather than staff.
My grandad came into Brooklands for respite for 2 weeks, the staff were lovely and very welcoming to my grandad and he was well looked after and he really enjoyed his stay there, he loved the staff and he was very grateful for the help they gave him and he really enjoyed the food there he did say it was better than my nan's cooking. Thank you once again to all the staff at Brooklands for taking care of my grandad we appreciate everything you did for him.
My mum was a resident at Brooklands Care Home for 18 months. From the first day she moved in I felt reassured she would be happy living there. Each member of staff from the cleaners to the carers, nursing team, cook, one member of staff in particular in the office were very welcoming to my mum and our family too. We were kept updated each time we visited on my mum's health and well-being. We cannot thank them enough for the care and support they always demonstrated. My mum sadly passed away in May from dementia. My mum's dignity was always considered. We cannot recommend the care home highly enough. Two members of staff in particular do an amazing job along with their team of amazing staff. I take comfort in knowing my mum spent the last months of her life being cared for by that kind, caring, wonderful and happy team.
The care home is very good, the rooms are very nice, and the food is excellent. The staff are helpful and attentive and look after my mother very well. The home provides numerous activities, unfortunately, my mother refuses "to join in" with the other residents. She has always been a bit of a loner. It is her loss because there are so many activities she would enjoy.
Clean. Residents well looked after. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Calm and friendly atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble.
Clean and tidy, friendly staff, happy residents, lots to do.
My brother has been in Brooklands Care Home for over a year and has benefitted from the experience. His needs are being well met and he has fostered good relationships with the staff. He has maintained a positive outlook on life and this is due, to no small degree, to the people he has come into contact with. We are pleased with most aspects of the home and hope that he will continue to have a pleasant experience.
Brooklands Care Home have been good with my dad. He’s been in there for four weeks now, and the care he receives is amazing. They can’t do enough for him and us... the communication between them, myself and my sister is really good; they update us every time we go or over the phone. It feels like home-from-home for him. I would recommend Brooklands to anyone.
The care home is doing a great job in looking after my mum - clean and tidy, and all staff are friendly. The care home could do with a little more activity for the residents, but overall, I am really happy with the care my mum is receiving.
Staff got to know Mum very quickly and were kind and friendly. They helped Mum become familiar with the routine, giving her a choice to stay in her room or join the other residents in one of the communal areas which were clean and nicely decorated. Mum enjoyed the food and was never short of drinks and snacks being offered. Special thanks must be given to the medical team who were excellent: taking time to understand Mum's health needs and ensuring they were all addressed. We would like to send a big thank you to everyone at Brooklands.
The staff are very helpful and they treated Mum with compassion, respect and great care. As Mum's Alzheimer's became worse they became her family and they made her time there as comfortable and reassuring as they possibly could. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anybody who has a need for a relative.
Our mother was admitted firstly to Brooklands for respite, in or around August of this year for two weeks, when us four daughters were struggling to cope with Mum being at home, after being diagnosed with Vascular dementia and Alzheimer's earlier on this year. Unfortunately, through the hot spell that we had Mum got very poorly and was admitted to hospital and after this rocky spell, it was deemed that Mum could no longer be at home on her own. We had no hesitation but to seek Mum a place back in Brooklands, straight away. Mum settled down very quickly again. She has got a lovely set of friends and we can now rest, assured that she is safe and well looked after. Obviously, we all have teething problems, but any concerns that we have had, have been discussed and they are more than happy to work with us to find a solution. Mum has a lovely room and to top it off, she says the food is fantastic! Thank you to all staff, we feel very lucky.
I have been a resident for 15 years. Luckily then, my sister had worked with the care homes bosses and put me in touch and I have since enjoyed a most pleasurable time. I couldn't have found a nicer and more caring staff. There have been a few minor hiccups, but nothing too daunting. I would recommend Brooklands, highly.
My mum was admitted to Brooklands in May, after coming in for respite over a couple of years. I cannot praise the staff enough. They are always smiling and happy to help. They have made my mum very welcome and helped her to settle in very quickly.
My wife was admitted to Brooklands in May 2022. She has settled really well. The care staff have been amazing, they go above and beyond. They always make me feel welcome when I visit. When I leave the home, I know that my wife is safe and well cared for.
My father spent an unexpected two weeks at Brooklands in August 2022. The entire staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Not just professional, but cheerful and friendly too. Thank you for making a stressful situation so much easier for my Dad and the whole family.
