My lovely Auntie had a wonderful team of cares at a difficult time for us all. We as a family have the upmost respect for all who supported, all that you gave us as a family too. We are very grateful, and acknowledge all you did for Auntie. Please pass on my gratitude to all at Clarence House Care Centre. Love and respect for all you all your kindness. You have a wonderful team of carers in Clarence House. Professional, but personal. It's a difficult balance, they had it spot on.
My Mom has been in their care for nearly two weeks and has been treated with utmost respect and care. The house is beautiful and well cared for. The food looks appetising and fresh. 10/10 for me!
My father is currently in Clarence House since his release from hospital. He is very frail with limited mobility. The care he has received has been brilliant. The staff are so friendly and caring towards him, it really has given him a better standard of life after he had just about given up on life. I cannot thank the staff enough for the care he is receiving. A big thank you.
My brother has been in the home for a very short period, but the change in his condition and appearance is amazing. The staff are friendly, and nothing is too much trouble; they take the time to speak to you, are very supportive and treat family members with great care and dignity. The senior on duty has been nothing but kind, caring and supportive, and all the staff say hello and greet you and make you feel very welcome. Excellent care home.
My mum was looked after really well, they were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, they cared for her with dignity, and she was very happy there. She was only there for two weeks, but in that time she got to know all the staff by their first names, she had a lovely room and was sad to leave.
Overall the experience for Mum was very good. It was a stay of 12 days waiting for a place in rehabilitation for a broken hip. The staff and management were lovely, they were short staffed but that is the case in most care homes these days. The room was small but can't complain as not paying and she couldn't walk anyway. She had a good size TV in her room and even participated in some activities the home put on. The facilities such as bath, shower and gardens were excellent.
Although my mum has only been a resident at Clarence House Care Centre for three weeks, I am very happy with the care and support she (and family) is receiving. All staff are friendly, treat her with dignity, nothing is too much trouble, care is not rushed. We have had bad experiences elsewhere during respite periods and home care, I do not worry and have peace of mind when we leave after a visit. The home and staff have a very calming approach. Would recommend this care provider.
I was welcomed into Clarence House Care Centre along with my mum, who stayed for nine days. The staff and management team were excellent and were very helpful and caring. The organisation of Mum's medication was excellent. All staff and management team were very friendly. The security into Clarence House was also very good. I felt as though my mum's care needs were met efficiently and with great satisfaction.
Very comfortable.
The staff are efficient, friendly and caring. Issues are dealt with promptly and sympathetically. My mother is comfortable and happy. Visits are organised efficiently under the pandemic restrictions.
I have found the manager and staff very attentive towards my mum's care. They interact with her as she is bed bound and over the four months they have got her eating and even sitting in a chair, which I never thought I would see again. To all the team - thank you.
Mum is very well cared for at Clarence House. All the staff are very helpful and do everything that they can to keep Mum safe and well. I live some distance away, and I am very assured that Mum is in safe hands at all times.
My mother is a relatively new resident in Clarence House, but she has settled in well, mainly due to the attention and care provided by all the staff there. The staff provide excellent attentive care with ongoing activities to provide stimulation to the residents. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who encourage and facilitate family contact as much as can be achieved under the current Covid situation by both phone and video calls. Hopefully, the newly installed visiting pod can allow some kind of face to face meetings in the new year whilst we all wait for the vaccine rollout to gather pace and give the opportunity to us to meet up with our loved ones again. In the meantime, until that can happen, many thanks to all at Clarence House for looking after my mum and all our loved ones so well!
The manager and staff are very welcoming on every visit. A very well run care home. A pleasure to visit. Excellent all round.
I am well amazed with the care and approach of the manager and staff at Clarence House. My mother suffers with Alzheimer's disease. She has been admitted to the care home after being tested for Coronavirus (care home manager has organised and supported us throughout the process). I wasn't sure whether Mum will make it at the care home but thanks to staff at Clarence House she did. Mum is well looked after and happy. I have got peace of mind, I can sleep at night knowing she is safe.
Care is outstanding as well as management and staff. My mum was at Clarence House for 18-months, and towards the end of her life, she needed an extra level of support. Staff were brilliant, professional, always there, working with myself and my brother, keeping in touch with us very well, showing my mum great dignity and empathy.
Clarence House has been Mum's home for three years. Staff have supported her fully with compassion, awareness, respect and empathy. Care. Especially in difficult times when Dad was also resident and in the current times. Thank you.
Staff excellent and caring, nothing too much trouble, polite and helpful. Room airy and light, with a lovely view of the gardens. Food seems to be excellent. Staff are fantastic and very on the ball with Covid-19 lockdown as it was implemented early and all residents are safe.
My mother went into Clarence House in June 2019, when she could no longer manage at home. Staff, there were very supportive, helping to find a place at short notice. For a year now they have provided effective individual care, taking into account food intolerances, medication, restricted mobility and various medical conditions. Contact with a wider support network has been very good, with the District Nurse attending regularly. I have found the staff to be invariably cheery, respectful and helpful, for both my mother and visitors, making the care home a very supportive and welcoming place to be. My mother often tells me how kind people are to her. The food menu is varied and balanced, with options to cater to food intolerances. Communication is good- staff keep me informed so that I have not felt the need to attend the family meetings that are available. Phone contact has been good during the coronavirus restrictions. The use of sound safety policies has been very reassuring.
