View Full Details of St Catherine's Dementia Care HomeThe care Mum received since coming to Saint Catherine's in June 2023 was excellent. She settled in within a few days. The facilities are great and always very clean. All the staff are amazing, they work with much compassion, patience and love. I used to love visiting Mum each week and was always made to feel so welcome by all. I always left knowing Mum was really happy. The care mom received at her end of life was superb and I am so grateful they went above and beyond to look after her but also kept me strong. I would recommend St Catherine's.
My wife has been an early onset dementia resident at St Catherine's Dementia Care Home for one year. This has changed her life and mine too. We are both so much happier than when I was struggling to be her carer. Yes, the building and the setting are beautiful. The thoughtfulness behind the internal layout and decor is inspiring. It is a joyous place, truly a home from home. More than that, all the staff are outstanding in their care, compassion, kindness, patience and devotion. They genuinely go 'above and beyond', you really feel that residents are their family, they are meticulously looked after. Everything is catered for, residents go on regular outings, help in preparing food, they interact and are stimulated, nothing is ever too much trouble. Visiting is a heart-warming occasion, we are made to feel so welcome as part of their family. I truly believe there is no happier place for my wife to call Home. If you're looking for a care home that genuinely cares, you have just found it.
I cannot fault the care my father received since coming to St Catherine's in May 2023. The staff are extremely compassionate and so giving of their time. My father has been so contented and happy while giving us as a family confidence and peace of mind whenever we leave him after our visits. I was so worried and concerned prior to Dad going into full-time care but it is a wonderful environment and certainly changed my attitude.
My husband is very happy which takes a load off my mind and everything is always first class.
I am pleased to say that the home is very good for Dementia residents and everyone is so friendly. When I leave my husband I'm happy to know that he will be looked after. He seems really content and happy. There is always something going on and different events to keep them amused and if they are not well they are checked and looked after.
My partner stayed at the manor, and I couldn't be more happy with both the management and staff alike. It's a groundbreaking facility for early-onset dementia adults in the area. What A difference to "normal" dementia care homes.
My wife has been moved recently from another care home to St Catherine's/ The comparison is like comparing chalk to cheese. The previous care home was a home that accepted residents with dementia. St Catherine's is a home that is designed for patients with dementia, and the staff are trained to deal with residents with dementia.
A wonderful facilitiy - the rooms are well furnished, and the communal areas are well laid out and friendly. The staff are all helpful and understanding. My mum is very settled and very well looked after.
My later wife spent almost a year in the home, and the care she received was second to none. All staff were so caring and had time for all residents. You had to see the love and patience at first hand to understand. All this was under sometimes very difficult circumstances as they had to understand each resident's needs and did so with such care and understanding. My wife passed away there a little while ago, and I recently visited to say thank you to everyone, and it was just like visiting a happy community with new residents who received the same care as when I was visiting my wife.
What a delightful environment for my mum to live in. Caring staff and always helpful. The environment has been developed to create a welcoming indoor/outdoor feel. All fittings and furniture are of the highest quality, and Mum could not be more valued.
I always enjoy visiting my mother at St Catherine's. Mum is settled and happy here. The staff are always cheerful and welcoming, and the atmosphere is really friendly and relaxed. They are always approachable and ready to listen if there are any problems. The home surroundings are beautiful and well cared for.
My mum has been a resident at St Catherine's for nearly six months. She has clearly settled in very well and is very happy and content there. We greatly appreciate the kindness and excellent care from all the staff. St Catherine's is a delightful environment, ideal for Mum and so reassuring that she is so well taken care of. Grateful thanks to everyone involved in her life at St Catherine's.
I am very happy and content with the excellent care that my wife receives on a daily basis. The staff are well trained, kind, and considerate at all times. The facilities are first class and always immaculate, and her bedroom is always kept tidy and very clean by the staff. The food always looks tasty, nutritious and varied. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend the home for any family members.
My family and I feel Mum is well cared for in a very loving environment. All the staff feel like extended family, and we all have Mum's best interests at heart. Always lots of activities and treats, and our visits are in the garden room, which is a mixed communal area, which is very nice, also gives us a chance to meet the other residents that Mum "lives" with.
St Catherine's has been the best thing to happen for Dad for a long time. He is happy and well cared for, and we are very glad that he is able to live here. The residential areas are lovely and have a very calming effect on residents and visitors alike. The staff are extremely caring and treat the residents like their own family.
The staff are very good and have known my husband for a long time. They go the extra mile to understand him with his speech problems. The dynamics of the home keep changing when new residents arrive, this can be disruptive at times. Hopefully, in summer, the residents can be taken outside more and go on trips.
We are very pleased with the care my grandmother has received. The food, facilities and rooms are of high quality, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We arranged to find a care home that could care for my grandmother when her dementia advanced. Thankfully, St Catherine's does not turn anyone away and is able to care for all levels.
Very pleased with the home. Everything is excellent, from the loving care she receives. We feel over the last few months, she has really settled and seems happy in her new environment and gets all the care she needs.
I am extremely pleased with teh care my father receives. The staff are all very kind and considerate. Recently, my dad was very poorly, with the care he had from everyone, he is back to his normal self. Thank you to everyone for that.
When I visit St Catherine's, which is pretty regularly, I am always met with a warm welcome. Whenever I ring St Catherine's it is like speaking with an old friend. The St Catherine's staff look after my wife to a standard I can't, but thankful enough for. Long may St Catherine's be able to take care of my wife. Thank you!
