Peacock Manor Nursing Home is exceptional. My mother is cared for so well day and night. The staff are exceptional, friendly, professional and so lovely with my mother. It's always clean and smells so nice yet very poorly people there. Excellent hygiene. The food is of a high standard and there is fantastic entertainment - reindeer, pony visits, parties, singing. They are family now.
I am absolutely delighted by the care I receive from all the staff. All concerned should be fully rewarded. The carers doing a wonderful job.

The care home is very clean and has a lovely warm feel. There are so many staff around which I find so great, there is always someone there to ask anything. My dad is kept very clean and he is very happy there. Thank you very much for the best care I could ask for my dad.
The care my husband has received during his time at Peacock Manor has been outstanding, we as a family feel very confident that my husband has the very best of care and he is treated with kindness and compassion. The home is always very clean and the staff are so welcoming whenever we visit always offering tea/coffee upon arrival. There have been a couple of incidents where my husband needed urgent assistance and the care home manager and sisters were there immediately with such skill, knowledge, and professionalism. The food looks delicious and my husband's bedroom is big enough for his needs. All in all, we consider ourselves lucky that our loved one is in the care of Peacock Manor and this place is second to none in our opinion.

My lovely husband was taken into Peacock Manor for end-of-life care with cancer. It was absolutely the right decision we made. The Home is lovely and very clean. The staff were simply amazing, so kind, and helpful to my husband and us. All his needs in the end were met, and we could not have had a better experience.
Extremely pleased with the care my grandpa receives at Peacock Manor. Every single member of staff is outstanding, extremely caring and all very friendly. Everyone is made to feel very welcome. I have 2 young children who often attend with me and the love the staff have towards my children is lovely. They are made to feel at home! My grandpa has been in a couple of care homes prior to Peacock Manor and we are extremely glad we made this move as the care is second to none! We walk out the home feeling very confident that he is being cared for - nothing is ever too much and I would highly recommend to others!
Peacock Manor Nursing Home is an excellent place to stay. The impression is one of a big, friendly, caring community of staff who do their very best to help everyone including relatives and family. The quality of care and support are great and I have recommended Peacock Manor to many people I know. Congratulations to all for your hard work and care.
Facilities and rooms are a bit run down but this is compensated by the staff. The staff are excellent, they are polite, gentle and attentive. The staff numbers are high. Very happy with how the staff work as a team.
My mother has been a resident since February 2022, I have subsequently visited weekly at varying times of the week and I have never seen an action or procedure that would give me cause for concern. On the contrary, I regularly witness staff interactions with residents during which they are patient, considerate, respectful and very professional despite often challenging behaviour being presented. I have the ultimate respect for the manner in which they carry out their duties, in fact, they often exhibit genuine concern for those in their care. I am very happy with my mum's care and very grateful to all the staff.
Kind caring always with a smile. Nothing too much trouble. Clean and helpful. Willing to help in every way. Always tried to take care of my wife, made her feel comfortable. Facilities good. Parking convent.
My uncle has lived at Peacock Manor for nearly 3 years, both he and I are proud and so very much content to call this his 'home'. It’s a joy to observe the positive relationships he has made with so many of the staff. Such kind words and so many smiles are afforded to him, it’s heartwarming!
My mum was placed in Peacock Manor by social services against our wishes - however the care that she received was excellent. Her dementia was very challenging yet the care staff were so patient and understanding. As a family, we were always made to feel welcomed and our visiting time was made easier by the friendliness of the care staff. I will always be extremely grateful for the care my mum was given and the amazing staff at Peacock Manor.
Since my husband became a resident, I have visited 3-4 times a week, unannounced, at different times of the day and week. I have always found everything and everyone as I would wish to find it. All residents were treated with the care and respect due to them. No matter what occurs, staff behave in an exemplary manner. I am reassured that when I leave him, my husband will receive the very best of care.
My father was in Peacock Manor from October 2022 to November 2023, when he passed away. He was well cared for by all the staff, and his eyes lit up, and there was a smile on his face when they spoke to him. He loved the homemade food and the activities that the home provides.
We were worried about Dad going into a care home. But we couldn't ask any more from Peacock Manor. It is clean, the staff are the most caring of people and nothing is too much for them. Since Dad has come to Peacock Manor they have made us feel like part of the family. Dad is always clean and has someone with him at all times. They are great at communicating with us and we know exactly what is happening and how Dad is. The staff are your stars here, caring and have such empathy not just for the residents but their families as well. We couldn't ask for any more.
Our cousin came to the Peacock six months ago in very poor health. With lots of care and attention, she has made a remarkable recovery. She has just celebrated her 90th birthday with staff and friends, sharing a beautiful dietary requirement birthday cake made by a staff member. It is a relief to know she is in such a caring, friendly environment.
