Excellent care given by nurses. Cannot fault their commitment, its second to none.

Do not put your relative in here. Put my Mother-in-law in for two weeks respite and the biggest mistake ever made. She suffers from Dementia and was not given the support required to meet her needs. The place is badly run and chaotic. Rooms are badly in need of updating and total lack of managerial organisation. Was so pleased to get her moved to a better place that is properly run.

My dad arrived at Charlton Court very low and quite angry following a difficult time. The staff were very understanding and treated him with care and respect. The staff are very caring and the atmosphere reflects this. Nice range of activities.

My mum has been really looked after since being here. She always looks clean and well fed and nourished. Whenever I have something to address, I find the staff helpful and considerate. They have helped stabilise my mum's condition and she seems very settled.

My mam was in Charlton Court Care Home from April 2022 until 10th June 2023. Over the period my mam stayed with you, she was well looked after. The staff were very kind to her and they kept her bedding and room the way she liked. I went to see Mam every day and got to know the staff well. They helped me cope in her last few weeks. I would recommend Charlton Court to place their loved one in this home.

My mam was admitted into Charlton Court Care Home for palliative care in November 2022, I can honestly say the care, respect and support from all the staff was truly amazing. The manager has a whole team of kind professionals who go above and beyond. This was an extremely hard and emotional time for us all as a family, however, we felt that Charlton Court was the best place for our mam. The manager leads by example which is refreshing to see. It’s a lovely place for loved ones which I’d highly recommend. Thank you for looking after our beautiful mam until the end.

Dad has got a new lease of life, mixing with other people. Staff are friendly and very caring. Food is not so good at times but, other than that, Dad's enjoying his stay.

I would just like to express my sincere gratitude to your entire staff for the care and kindness shown to my partner in his final weeks of life. The moment he entered Charlton Court the difference was clear to see, he was out of pain, calmer, happier, and safe. We as a family were going through the worst time of our lives but the staff at Charlton Court made it easier with their kind words, and helpfulness, nothing was too much trouble. The home is definitely one big happy family. Thank you again.

This is the most pleasant care home I've ever visited. The care home is warm, welcoming and well-lit. The team of staff are exceptional, they are all so positive with smiles on their faces and all act so professionally. They give all their clients as much dignity as possible. I love the way my dad is cared for and I love visiting him while here at Charlton Court Care Home.

I could never recommend this care home! Following our mother's sudden deterioration and hospitalisation on 5 January 2022, she passed away 24 hours later. She was admitted as level 1 to hospital. In our opinion, left too late. She was alert and fine on 1 January and had been a resident from 2021. Consequently, Safeguarding, CQC have had involvement and most of our complaints have been upheld. There are new management in place now. Too little, too late in our case. Ask for nourishment and hygiene records for your loved one.

Very warm friendly atmosphere, all staff have been approachable and interested in Dad and ensured he is happy and comfortable at all times. Dad has been welcomed into his new home with such kindness and included in activities straight away and meeting new friends. Absolutely delighted with how well Dad has settled and so happy we picked Charlton Court.

We, as a family, could not be happier with the reception our dad has received so far at Charlton Court. The staff have made Dad feel really special, and even though we are still in his two-week trial, he has asked to stay.

My brother-in-law lives in Charlton Court. He had been waiting for a chair for a while to no fault of the home. It all got sorted with the new manager; she has made a big difference. Everybody is always friendly and helpful, from the nurses, carers, handyman, cleaners and cooks.

Always had a pleasant experience in all areas of care within the home. All staff are patient and considerate of residents' needs and work effortlessly to provide person-centred care. My mam is the most relaxed she has been in years. I am over the moon to have my mam in Charlton Court and would recommend it to anyone.

101% this care home is top rate. Would absolutely recommend. Since I've lived here care has been fantastic. Anything you need, nothing is too much bother. I take part in everything going on. I love it.

Pleased at the progress my wife has made in the care home. From a very difficult start, she has settled and is happy in her own space. Her smiles are a blessing. Staff support is great.

Very good home, caring staff and very clean always spotless. Rooms could do with a makeover but overall no other issues. Staff always welcoming and security of home is very good. I would 100% recommend this home.
