We were very happy with the whole Chichester Court Care Home experience. My in-laws went in for a short period of respite care and stayed for seven months. During that time, we were confident they were being well-looked after by the caring and efficient staff team. Chichester Court has a lovely atmosphere and is highly recommended.
The staff are very caring and considerate of the residents need.
It is now 12 months since my sister in law became a resident of Chichester Court Care Home. Her family and myself would like to express our thanks to all of the staff for the care and attention they give to her. They are always patient, pleasant, attentive and kind to her. They understand her needs and go out of their way to ensure she is well cared for and treated with respect. They welcome visitors and we all feel part of a big happy family when we visit. They have regular entertainment for the residents, and the families are always welcome to join in. They ensure she eats her meals to the best of their ability, and show patience with her as she is a slow eater. When she is poorly, they ensure that she is monitored and if necessary they will immediately call in medical professionals to deal with the problem. We are happy that she is living in a clean, warm, caring environment. Thank you to all of the staff.
My uncle has only been a resident for a month but so far I'm very happy with the way he is treated by all of the staff. He has certainly been made very welcome and has settled in well. All of the staff at Chichester Court are very caring about their residents and everyone seems to be happy and are always smiling.
Chichester Course cared for my dad in the final 3 months of his life. They were fabulous. Treated him with care and dignity and were amazing with us as a family too. All the staff are amazing doing a very difficult job. Special thanks to the nurse who cared for him. She was amazing. Second to none. Thank you.
Treat my 94-year-old mam with respect and dignity at all times. The staff made Mam laugh which made Mam very happy. They did their best to make Mam as comfortable and relaxed even when she was in extreme pain, staff always had a smile when talking to Mam. Treat us as a family well and kept us informed at all times of what was happening. Their end-of-life care was compassionate and caring. Nothing was ever a bother to any of the staff. I would like to recommend this care home to anyone who requires a nursing home and thanks to them Mam had a good end of life.
Cared for my Mam for 11 months. Care was excellent throughout. I would thoroughly recommend this care provider.
After moving from a settled care home needing increased medical care when my dad was first admitted, we called in without prior warning and found a member of staff feeding my dad who was just recovering from a bad infection. He had maintained his dignity and was kept comfortable throughout his stay. I as his next of kin have been very happy with the care and respect the staff give all the residents. Skills specific to my dad's needs were available and his support throughout has been exemplary. The home has lots of activities and amenities for the residents and try hard to keep the residents active and engaged. The manager is very approachable with a hands-on style. She has a good knowledge of the needs of each individual resident and personality. We had called in unannounced and she gave us a medical and behavioral update without needing to refer to any notes when asked about changes we as the family had noticed. My dad recently passed away in hospital.
I found this care home to be extremely good. The staff were fantastic. They looked after my mam very very well. I'll never forget all of them, once again thank you and God bless.
My auntie has been treated with respect and dignity. Originally went in for end-of-life care but still here eight months later. She is totally deaf and doesn't make friends easily but two staff members in particular have been really lovely, bringing her out of her shell. They work really hard and take the time to talk to her and listen.
My mam went into Chichester Court in April. She was fast-tracked from the hospital as she was expected to pass away fairly quickly; however, with all the support and care the staff gave Mam, she picked up and started gaining weight and had an additional six months that we got to be with her. I cannot fault any of the care and support they have given to all our family. Thank you so much.
My late mother was a resident at Chichester Court for approximately 11 months apart from a few stays in hospital. During this time I have always been totally confident that my mother was safe and in good hands. The staff were always professional and courteous but their care went well beyond this. They all showed great patience, compassion and love for my mother, my father and the rest of the family throughout her time with you. Thank you.
We as s family are very happy with my mother's care and support. Management have excellent communication with families and they are available to speak to as and when needed, they are very professional and very understanding to the concerns that we as a family, may have. Care staff are very caring towards residents and some do a lot more to support residents. My concern is the amount of staff on shift is very limited at times and this is a concern for us as less staff less care. I am also aware that this problem is in most care facilities. I believe the care home needs maintenance work eg: paint and look more hygenic.
Excellent home, staff are very friendly and welcoming., treated my auntie with dignity in her last years of life. She said she was very content and happy. Staff always keep us informed of any situation. One word comes to mind, quality.
My mam stayed at Chichester Court Care Home from the end of June 2022 until 14th October 2022, when she sadly passed away. All staff were lovely and kind to my mam and she was well looked after. Everyone always made sure she could join in activities and take her outside in the garden, in her wheelchair. Staff, nurses and management were always helpful, discussed any concerns and understood my mam's needs. Staff were also very supportive to me, especially in my mam's last days. Thank you.
My dad had been in Chichester Court Care Home for seven years, he died on 12/03/2023. The staff had always been wonderful with him, especially as he had very challenging behaviour with his dementia.
Dad is very well looked after. We are always informed on how he is doing. He is well-fed and always dressed well when I visit.
