View Full Details of Hebburn Court Care HomeThe staff are lovely, patient and kind when dealing with often confused, unpredictable and vulnerable residents, not an easy job. Alzheimer's dementia is a cruel disease which is slowly robbing us of our mam we are grateful for the kindness and support our mam and we as a family are receiving from the staff at Hebburn Court. Thank you.
The whole team is brilliant, very caring and professional. Always knock on the door before entering.
Staff and management are amazing people, always happy and upbeat and show great patience with the residents and family. I hadn't been in the care home before the new management took over but every day you can see new things being added to the surroundings and the place really feels very welcoming. My father was a difficult resident due to his dementia but the support that I received from everyone in enabling us to get the help he needed was first class.
Good standard of cleanliness in the home. Staff friendly and helpful. Since changing hands home is being upgraded. More activities are being put in place for residents which is good.
At this present time, Hebburn Court has improved a lot since the new manager has taken over. Lots of new decorations, staff and activities for the residents. It seems very "upbeat" to what it has been since Covid. My mam is well cared for and seems happy. Manager is happy to see you at any time.
Satisfied with the care of Mam, more so since new management. Home seems to be doing a lot to improve the environment, like decorating/cleanliness, etc. Staff are lovely. All in all, the home seems to be getting better.
I've seen a great improvement in the care home this year. Improvements to the downstairs lounge areas and upstairs in getting a refurb. A lot more staff who are very caring with the residents. Well done.
Could not help but notice the vast improvements throughout Hebburn Court Care Home - well done. There is a definite and positive air about the place since the change of ownership. I am sure with the staff's positive attitude, it will continue into the future.
Overall care given at Hebburn Court is good and feel this is down to the carers and nurses that are working there. My experience is that they genuinely care for my mam and look after her to the best of their abilities, keeping her clean, safe and fed. The decoration of the home, and garden are a little run down, but is currently being addressed by the new owners and improvements can be seen throughout the communal and bedroom areas. Whenever I have had any concerns I have spoken to management who are always happy to give me the time to talk through things.
Appalling place, would not leave my pet there. No care respect or dignity. Staff say not enough staff and the manager says they are liars. My father-in-law was left soaking wet that cold, the nurse could not even get his stats, too much to mention. He was only there 3 weeks before he passed. Please don't leave your relatives here especially if they don't have the capacity to speak up for themselves, shame on you Hebburn Court.
Staff are lovely. All the activities are good. I have photos, drawings and stories in my room.
Since the pandemic started I have been kept up to date with information by various ways of communication. Arranging video calls with my grandfather has been much of a help for the family and my grandfather. Indoor visits have been excellent and well organised. Well done to all staff at Hebburn Court, it's been tough but they have dealt with things great and I know my grandfather is well looked after.
Just to put pen to paper to tell you that since this terrible pandemic, it has had terrible effect on the mental health of not only residents but also on close family. I might add at this point I would not have gotten through this terrible year but for the activity person in Hebburn Court. She goes beyond her role and has kept me up to date with my mother's wellbeing, she deserves praise indeed. She is worth her weight in gold!
All the staff are friendly, polite and go out of their way to make sure my cousin and everyone else is well cared for. They keep us well informed on how she is doing via phone calls or letters through the post. I have also recently downloaded Zoom.
They are doing a great job, making every effort to make our loved ones feel cared for and happy. My mam has regular pamper days where her hair and nails are done, they have movie days, crafts, music and so on. Mam is part of a friendship group with another 4 ladies which is wonderful. When we go for window visits or go to drop goodies off, there is a smell of delicious food being prepared, my mam regularly has porridge and a full cooked breakfast which is incredible as mam never used to have breakfast. A huge thank you to everyone at Hebburn Court for your care and hard work looking after our wonderful mam. If your loved one is needing care, I would recommend Hebburn Court 100%.
I cannot praise the staff enough. They look after my aunt so well and with such care. There are always plenty of activities to keep the residents entertained and the staff encourage them to join in. I am so pleased I chose this care home for my aunt. I can relax knowing she is getting the best care that she needs in a lovely, safe home.
Since my grandfather has been in the home the staff are amazing and always update me with information and friendly advice. I am happy with Hebburn Court and highly recommend.
My husband went into Hebburn Court in March, just before lockdown, so I didn't get to meet many staff. The administrator has been almost a friend to talk to and she reassures me if I have any worries, also whoever answers the phone when I ring Hebburn Court are always polite and friendly. I would recommend Hebburn Court to anyone.
The care given to my nana over the past 6 years has been good. Overall some of the staff have been exceptional, particularly in the past 3-6 months where my nana's health has deteriorated to the point where she is now on palliative care.
My mum was admitted to Hebburn Court after a hospital stay. Her prognosis wasn’t good. She’d suffered bleeds on her brain after a fall and had complete left side paralysis and no speech at all. She also has Alzheimer’s. Things didn’t look too optimistic at all. However, thanks to the patience and care she has received, she is now fully mobile, has her speech back and has her life back. Whilst lockdown has been difficult, she has never been happier for years. She’s busy all day helping staff cleaning! The activities they have been brilliant. They keep her occupied and content. Nothing is too much bother. She’s got her new family around her and my mind is completely at rest knowing she is safe and happy. She’s well fed and pampered. I would highly recommend Hebburn Court, the manager, administrator and every staff member. They are absolutely fabulous. Thank you.
