View Full Details of Hebburn ManorManagement and staff are excellent, friendly and approachable. On a busy road but a large car park attached so visiting isn't a problem for me. Home is clean and tidy.
The staff at Hebburn Manor are wonderful! They go above and beyond every time for my mam and me, for example: one member of staff helped me out to the car when it was pouring with rain, another member of staff always buys a paper for my mother every day on their way to work. All the staff are exceptional, this includes the carers, the entertainment staff, the cleaners and the management. If required they all work together to get my mother ready for trips out and doctor's appointments. I have watched the carers and the management staff with other residents and they all get afforded dignity, respect and love.
My mum was very reluctant to go into a care home but after thinking long and hard about the alternative of being at home alone for most of the day and overnight she realises this is the best place for her, and she has settled really well. The staff are all very helpful and easy to talk to and look after my mum really well. The meals are really nice too with lots of variety and well cooked. The activities staff are really lovely and welcoming and organise activities for all the residents who would like to join in. Overall I am very pleased with Hebburn Manor and I'm pleased my mother has settled in there well.

Following two months in the hospital, my father-in-law was transferred to Hebburn Manor, where he settled in surprisingly well and appears content. As a family, we feel there has been an overall improvement in his condition. The staff are friendly, caring and helpful. Any concerns are answered swiftly and they are proactive if there are any issues with his health. Overall, we are pleased with his care at Hebburn Manor.
As a family, we are more than satisfied with the care and support that our mother and father have had over a 9-year period and would highly recommend to others. The staff treat my mother with great respect and also the same for my father who was also a resident in the home before his passing. Highly recommended home.
I have been extremely happy with the care in this home, a quiet, peaceful place, very friendly staff. My sister has been there for over a year and she seems very happy with the placement. I would recommend this home to anyone.
This is a lovely care home that take into account the needs of the residents - it’s very clean and staff are thoughtful and caring. Any issues are dealt with immediately by the Manager. My mam enjoys all the activities that are planned throughout the week - particularly if they have guests to entertain them.
The home and staff are professional and caring, my wife's condition, she suffered a massive stroke, 2 brain bleeds, seizures, significant brain function impairment and right side paralysis. Since her transfer from the hospital, the staff have been kind and caring.
Our mother is a resident. We are pleased to see her settle into the home. It was a difficult decision for us as a family to move our mother to a care home. Months later it's nice to see that she has been well cared for. The staff have been caring and considerate to her needs. It has been very reassuring for us that she is content.
Mam has much improved, she appears to be eating and drinking well. She is much more engaging and she has good eye contact. She is now able to have a quality conversation with her family who are thrilled with her improvement. The home is very accommodating to relatives and friends who visit and we are so thankful she was placed in Hebburn Manor. We can’t thank the manager and the team enough.
My brother is well looked after and cared for. The staff look after him and are very helpful and understanding. I am always kept informed with any news regarding my brother. The staff are always available if I have any questions.
Happy with all over care, would like carpet changed if possible, would like toilet checked bit more. Happy for my mam to be in this care home. Care staff very friendly and helpful. Find agency staff not as much don’t believe they have same duty of care.
Since my mam has been in since December the amount of accidents and stuff going missing is ridiculous. Not kept informed and when try to complain it all gets twisted. Will be issuing receipts for everything missing. Since my mam's been here she deteriorated loads and her general hygiene has gone down. There’s loads I can say but would run out of room. There’s no activities or anything which if you got dementia should have lots to keep them active. She is on a nursing ward when she shouldn’t be.
