View Full Details of Elizabeth Fleming Care HomeMy inital views are extremely good. My brother has settled here well. The staff have been excellent in their care and support of him. Thank you.
The staff are polite and very welcoming. The residents are well cared for and their needs are attended to the staff arranges different activities for the residents who appear to enjoy them. I have no problem leaving my husband in their care because I am informed straight away if he needs medical attention or if any small mishap has occurred.
The family were very pleased with my relative's care. At times he was a difficult resident to deal with but the staff persevered with him always tending to his needs and adopting different approaches in managing his needs. The home feels like a family environment and the staff make a significant contribution to that.
So pleased with the care the staff are giving my dad, he is always clean well fed and very comfortable, thank you to all the staff you are all amazing. Also for taking so much good care of my mam.
Staff are very kind, dedicated and hardworking. They always have time for my mam. The food is excellent and the rooms are nice. My mam is always nicely dressed and clean, her hair is smart and tidy. The staff made a beautiful cake for her birthday and provided some party food, more activities would be appreciated however. Mam has settled well and the other residents are lovely. Overall, very pleased with Elizabeth Fleming Care Home. Staff are very caring and polite towards the relatives too, very supportive.
Very happy with the way my mother is looked after. Staff are great, very helpful in everything asked of them. There is always someone cleaning or washing floors. The rooms are good and well-fitted.
I'm over the moon with my dad's care. He has settled in well. Staff are amazing with him. I know he is well cared for and that makes me so happy as my dad is my world. I want to say a big thank you to all the staff; carers, domestic, laundry and kitchen, as all of these contribute to my dad's well being. Big thank you to activity staff for getting my dad to join in with activities, seeing my dad laugh and smile melts my heart.
This home is ok. I came twice a week to visit. The major problem is the staff. Some staff are amazing and will bend over backwards. There is one staff member here who is constantly on her phone and ignores the residents. She has a duty of care and ignores this. Care does depend on which staff is on!
The experience here is well appreciated and good.
My mam's been in the Elizabeth Fleming for almost a year now. The staff treat her like family; they are all so kind and welcoming to my family. The meals are very appetising, and the rooms are clean and warm. I have no concerns whatsoever. I cannot praise the staff enough for the care, respect and love they give my mam.
Absolutely beautiful home, always clean and tidy. Staff are amazing with the residents; they're always entertaining them. The food is freshly made and well-presented. The residents seem happy and well cared for.
My wife has lived her over a year, the home does want updating in places and the activities and updates we receive could be more often. The staff are nice and I think the care is good. I am in most day visiting.
Dad came into this home during lockdown, we were unable to visit any homes to view their set up/services, which was difficult. However, staff/management are friendly. Visiting throughout lockdown was quite tough for us as a family, we were not allowed to see Dad's room or any facilities it offered. Before we got to see his own room he had been here for a year nearly, so felt it would not be fair if we were not happy with his surrounding/facilities at that point in time? Dad will never settle in a care home, he just wants to be in his own home. However, this is no longer an option for him due to hishealth and his safety. I feel lately the home has struggled to keep up with cleaning, staffing and activity support, but know a group of relatives/friends have arranged help sorting outside areas for residents which is fantastic, but feel Martin Care Homes are letting Elizabeth Fleming Care Home and residents here down through lack of help/support and fees we pay them, pass some onto the home to help!
My experience has been nothing but excellent, and my relative is treated like one of the family by the staff, making it a happy place to live. The staff work to a very high standard, treating everyone with respect and dignity and going out of the way to make sure everyone's needs are met.
Since my mother has been in the Elizabeth Fleming Care Home, I can honestly say she has been more happy and more content than I have seen her in years. All the staff are professional and friendly and really care about the residents.
I am more than happy with the excellent care my husband receives at Elizabeth Fleming but strongly feel the mental stimulation has declined since 2021. What was an absolutely first-class care home seems to offer only half the needs of its residents. Hopefully, this can improve and activities can return to previous levels during 2020/2021.
The staff are very friendly, approachable, and patient, I am very happy with their efforts. He has settled in well and is happy, and seems fond of the staff. Not distressed in any way.
Lovely staff. Residents are well looked after.
My mother-in-law moved here during lockdown. Due to the present situation, we have only managed to see her through the window, which was last year. As I have not been inside the building I'm unable to comment on the quality of care etc. But I'm writing this review to say the photos on social media are amazing, everyone looks so happy and enjoying all of the activities. I imagine you have an activity coordinator. Well done to them and all the staff for brightening up everyone's day. Look forward to meeting all the staff when the lockdown ends.
What the amazing staff have achieved with our father is amazing. He has advanced dementia however his quality of life living a Elizabeth Fleming is more than outstanding. The dedicated caring staff goes over and above to ensure every resident is loved and cared for. They are always clean, smart and well-fed. He always has a smile on his face. I would highly recommend this lovely home. Thank you so much.
