View Full Details of Regents View Care HomeSince my Aunt has lived here she has settled in really well and is very content and happy. It is very comforting to see that all the staff are extremely good with her. My only concern is that some of her items have gone missing on many occasions and as yet her outdoor shoes, walking stick and a personal handmade gift that she treasured have still not been located after many months. Overall we are extremely happy with the continued care she is receiving from everyone.
Regents View is a welcoming home, all the staff are attentive and caring towards the residents and visitors alike. They form good relationships with all the residents. The food is excellent and wholesome and always available on request.
My husband and I would just like to thank each and every one of you at Regents View. For all you did for our beloved Mother. She could not have been in better hands, you were all amazing and made her passing a clam and peaceful experience. We will be forever grateful.
On behalf of all the family, we are very happy with the facilities and the way my brother is being looked after. We have noticed the vast improvement in him within the short time her has been here. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, making a friendly atmosphere.
My dad has been in this home for six months now. The staff are lovely and very caring towards all of the residents and he is always kept clean and tidy, however, this home uses a lot of agency staff which means the residents don’t get to know a lot of the carers on a personal level and vice versa. Had some issues when he first went in but the manager was always there to listen and take action. The home itself could do with a refurb especially upstairs as does not feel homely at all, activities could be better to keep the residents stimulated and the home is in desperate need of a new minibus as always broken which means residents can’t get out on day trips.
My lovely mam died 30th November and had been part of Regents View family for almost two years. It was her home where she was safe and cared for by staff who became her family and loved her. She was able to enjoy lovely meals and treats, bingo, arts and crafts, visits from school children and bus rides to the seaside for fish and chips. Staff helped Mam to maintain her love of music and dancing in the lounge, at the local club and also in her room. I visited regularly and I was always made aware of any changes or concerns about mam. The manager is very approachable and reassuring and this is reflected in the staff and how they work as a team and as caring individuals. Mam was shown kindness, humour, understanding and compassion, as was I. I will be forever grateful to the staff who cared for Mam on the day she died and I have comfort in knowing her Regents View family was with her.
Since my husband became a resident in the care home. I feel he will be well cared for. The manager is great to approach, nothing is a bother to her and her staff which puts me at ease knowing my husband is in safe hands. The home is beautiful, clean and the bedrooms are excellent, great home-cooked food. What I really like about the home is every member of staff are great with residents and families.
I feel residents like my husband do not get any stimulation. As he is wheelchair bound, don't know what the answer is. Asked about the therapy tablet to a member of staff, didn't think it had been on.
I said I would never put my wife in a home, but since the hospital put her in for 24-hour care, it was taken out of my hands. Since finding this home, I've experienced a group of people who are perfect for the job, always smiling and willing to help. I couldn't ask for a better set up for my wife.
Regents View has provided first-class care for my mum since her arrival. As I live in Northern Ireland, it is not always possible to just pop in and see my mum. But I am kept updated by staff if there are any issues. On my visits, the staff are friendly and courteous and treat my mum with respect. Meals are well presented and have a good variation. The general cleanliness of the home is to a high standard. When I return home after each visit, I know that my mum will continue to be well cared for by the staff.
I have found the home to be very good, much better than I had expected it to be. The staff have been very kind and helpful, and my husband seems to be more or less content with the fact he has to be there!
My mother spent the last 15 months of her long life at Regents View Care Home. She died at the age of 101. Despite her being a very independent lady she was content there and we could not have asked for more caring staff. We live five hours away, but we were kept up to date on even the slightest incident or change. What always impressed us, was when we rang, whoever answered the phone always knew exactly where my mother was and what she was doing. She was well cared for. After being admitted, it was not long before she looked the healthiest she had looked in years. We would thoroughly recommend Regents View.
The Manager and all the staff go above and beyond for my uncle's needs and always uphold his dignity in all aspects of his care I would recommend this care service for any family member
My gran has recently come to live at Regents View. She can be a little difficult but the staff are great with her. Really make her feel relaxed. Our family came to the festival in August and it was amazing, all the other residents were having a great time and the atmosphere was relaxed with plenty smiling faced including my gran. Everyone chipped in and the manager was on the BBQ which was fab to see. Real sense of a great team, who care for the residents. I can't comment on everything as we are new to the home but first impressions are above our expectations.
This care home is fabulous, the staff are really caring, you feel warmth when going into the home. The manager always makes a point of saying hello and staff are always happy and joking, keeping things light-hearted for residents. My grandma loves the home, she is much happier than in the last place. Activities are plentiful too. Lovely home.
Very impressed with the staff here. Very happy and have dealt with Covid really well. Staff always smiling and residents are happy too. The new Facebook page is great as it helped us keep up to date with things going on. Would recommend this home.
Super care, super staff and super manager. Residents always doing something or out on the bus. Can't fault the place. Nothing is too much, just a lovely home everyone has a voice and listened to as well.
