View Full Details of Ann Charlton LodgeAnn Charlton Lodge has been my daughter's home for 11 years now. I have nothing but praise for the nurses & staff. They always make us feel welcome when we visit. Our daughter is cared for with dignity & love. You can't ask for much more!
Ann Charlton Lodge is a fabulous home for many different people with different illnesses. It's home from home. The staff are absolutely magnificent and always go the extra mile for patients and family. Can't recommend it enough.
The staff and residents are all nice, polite and welcoming.
My Wife has Brain injury/dementia and has only been here since June 2024, she is well looked after here and I wouldn't like her to be anywhere else, the staff treat her as one of the family, with care and kindness, myself and my family are very grateful for the wonderful work that they do for my wife.
My husband came here 22.11.22. Very poorly and unsettled. He was in hospital 10 months from brain injury due to cardiac arrest. He was a very fit man before so very hard for him. But this care home has helped him very much. I would not wish for him to go anywhere else. It's like one happy family for him and myself. They provide all his needs with no problem while I myself can go home with peace of mind.
Very happy with the love and care my brother has received for the last 6 years, the staff all round are excellent and he is always safe, secure and supported.
My wife was admitted into this care home following a brain injury due to prolonged heart failure in February 2021. With the care, friendship, and encouragement of all of the wonderful staff she has now been able to return home to continue her rehabilitation. During her stay, on my many visits, the staff also treated me with the utmost kindness and made sure there was always a cup of tea and food available for me. I can only say thank you to them for giving my wife back to me.
Our family was impressed by the atmosphere of Ann Charlton Lodge and we were grateful when our son was accepted as a patient in 2008. What distinguished The Lodge from other homes we visited was the community feeling - a feeling of tolerance and friendliness which seemed to emanate from the enormous central room. The absence of 'corridors' and the comfort of the individual rooms added to its attractions, as did the caring attitude of all the staff. Our views have not changed over the years.
