View Full Details of Aster CareAster Care keeps me informed of my sister. To know that she is safe and included in everything is such a reassuring feeling. All the staff are of the same brand - caring, kind, helpful and good communicators to residents and the families/visitors. The place is always well presented, clean with fresh aroma and good lighting/heating. The outside area has cover which is a bonus. Residents enjoy the outside greatly.
I have had a very pleasant experience with Asta Care Home. I was made to feel extremely welcomed and comfortable by all staff involved and nothing was too much trouble. My room was of an excellent standard, large and comfortable. The food has also been delicious, very happy.
I can’t fault the place, it’s like home from home. The staff are fantastic and friendly, things are never a problem for them. It’s clean and tidy, my room is clean, my bed is comfy. The food is good and enjoyable.
I am happy living at Aster Care Home. The staff are good and friendly and always helpful. I enjoy taking part in activities and there is a good range available. The food is ok and I enjoy it sometimes.
I have no complaints, I love living at Aster Care Home. The staff are supportive and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. All staff from management to kitchen staff, to domestics are all helpful. I don’t take part in activities as I don’t feel there is nothing to suit me.
Mam is comfortable. She needs 24 hour care but she is doing ok. Staff are very nice and provide anything she wants or needs. The home is clean and nicely decorated. When we first went to look around the first impression was very good
My grandad stayed here short stay, he was very well looked after. The staff were friendly and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. The home was clean and tidy. There was a good range of activities available although my grandad didn’t like to take part.
My mother spent her final weeks in Aster care home, on the Orchid suite, and several of the care assistants looking after her were lovely. I always felt comforted knowing she was being cared for by them. They built rapport with both me and my mam, showed sincere care and kindness. The manager was always willing to listen and help. Overall a well ran nursing unit with some great staff.
From the minute I came through the doors I was welcomed to the family. Yes, that is what my stay was like every single day. Despite being short staffed everyone at Aster had a smile and I didn't hear a moan or complaint. I know where I would want to go if I needed respite care again, my family at Aster Care Home.
Lovely home, staff are very polite and helpful. The activities lady is very good and took me to shops and was very helpful with having laundry service. I asked for a TV in my room and they got it straight away. The rooms are lovely. And there are six TV lounging rooms and my favourite is Aster cinema lounge, it’s in a vintage retro theme. The meals are very substantial and tasty. The deputy manager is very pleasant and helpful. It is a very large building and took me a while to get my bearings but getting to know my way now. Would come back again any day best environment ever, and I thank everyone for an enjoyable stay.
The staff were outstanding and couldn't have been more helpful. The person I was visiting looked comfortable and happy. The care was brilliant and it was good to know my friend was in good hands. Overall, it was lovely to see. I was very pleased with the management and the staff were a pleasure to converse with.
I’m happy living at Aster Care Home and still have the freedom to come and go as I please.
I visited my friend in her previous two care homes and was quite frankly disgusted and appalled by their so-called care. Since she was relocated to Asta, I cannot praise the staff, care and facilities enough. My friend is less agitated and more trustworthy towards staff which makes her life more bearable and comfortable. I spoke to the home manager who put all of my fears to rest and she guaranteed that my friend would receive the most excellent love and care they deserve. For this, I cannot thank her enough
First class and person-centred. After our mother's needs significantly changed from her hospital admission, the care home she was in could not meet her needs. Our beloved mam was moved to Aster on leaving hospital where she spent her final days wrapped in the dignity and respect that her previous care home had not offered. The staff all go above and beyond their roles to offer a holistic approach. Nothing was ever a bother to support their residents or the families at such an awfully difficult time for us. Aster seems amazingly managed at all levels which reflects with the staff that you meet. We would highly recommend it.
During my time at Aster Care home in Middlesbrough, I feel safe, treated very well, and politely. The facilities are very good, all carers, admin, management are very nice to you and treat you with respect. There is always something happening activity-wise, but we need a subscription tv sports channel, also the food is a very good standard.
Life here is just fine. Clean, food fine. Staff very friendly. Staff always on call.
My time here was fantastic. Every member of staff was caring, respectful, and just genuinely nice people. You can't ask for more pleasant staff. When the CQC came to see the place they never spoke to me or the majority of residents. It wasn't a fair inspection.
My mother spent the last two weeks of her life at the home during that time she was cared for with dignity, excellent care and everyone had time to chat to her to and to feel at home. When it was difficult to visit.
I live away so have not seen my uncle for several months. The home took my temp asked several questions about my health before I was given my things I had to put on. The manager gave me an update and directed me to the room for my visit. My uncle was waiting for me. He looked lovely, he commented how nice the home was and the staff and manager were very accommodating.
