View Full Details of Brancepeth CourtMy wife arrived at Brancepeth Court towards the end of November 2024, I'm impressed with the standard of the home and level of care that she receives, following a major stroke last year. As a daily visitor, I find the home has a warm and welcoming environment. The carers and nurses always have a smile on their face and this is reflected in their care towards the residents. They are a credit to their profession. A lot of effort was put in to make the home festive for the Christmas period, including the staff who entered fully into the spirit of Christmas. An excellent dinner was served up for Christmas Day and all the residents received presents from the home. The activities staff work very hard and provide a varied selection of activities, especially in the run-up to Christmas. The kitchen staff also work hard to provide delicious, home-cooked meals and varied snacks. I find the environment of Brancepeth has contributed to my wife's speech recovery which had previously lapsed. Now that my wife is a resident here, I'm confident her health and well-being will continue to improve.
From the very first 10 minutes I was in the home, I knew this was where my wife was going to be cared for. I met a team leader and a nurse and their professionalism and support meant I didn't need to see the room. I decided there and then that this is where I wanted my wife to be. My decision to have my wife cared for at Brancepeth Court was proved correct straight away. The whole team, from carers, nurses, cleaners, cooks and management, deserve praise for their love, care, professionalism and dedication to their clients. A massive well done to them all.
Being a younger resident I was dreading my time in respite and a time to heal in bed as I thought I would be stuck in my room with my broken leg watching a television. Luckily for me, the staff encouraged me to spend time mixing with the other residents during activities and meal times which helped break barriers between us and really helped me settle in. The staff from cleaners, handymen, carers, cooks and domestic all have a polite and courteous manner and are always trying to assist you as best they can. Compared to other care homes I have stayed in Brancepeth has excelled in their activities provision they really try to think outside the box at times which can be seen by the website and displays. When it came to meal and snack times there was always a choice of homemade meals available which were delicious. This by far has been my most comfortable care home experience I would definitely recommend Brancepeth to anyone who is looking for an exceptional care home.
All the staff at Brancepeth Court are exceptional and caring, they go the extra mile to make you feel settled. I love being a resident at Brancepeth Court, I've been looking for a quality care home for years and came across Brancepeth Court after coming out of hospital. Straight away, on arrival, they treated me with dignity and respect.
The staff, from carers, activities coordinators, cleaners and catering have all been polite, approachable and helpful. They go the extra mile and try to involve all service users, the activities are always varied - keep up the good work ladies. There is one exceptional carer who treats my mum with the utmost respect. I think all staff go above and beyond.
My mam enjoys being here. The staff are very approachable, Mam loves all of the entertainment provided.
My mam would like to thank all the staff for all the care they have given to her while being here for rehabilitation after breaking her pelvis. Myself and family are also more than happy with the care and entertainment that has helped my mam has stayed there. We have no complaints at all and are very happy, all the staff have been amazing and we can't thank you all enough.
Very impressed by the warmth, care and pleasant attitudes shown by every sing person with whom we come into contact. Nothing is ever too much for them to deal with.
Since my mum was taken to Brancepeth Court in October, she has been shown kindness, respect and friendship by all members of the team, as have my dad and I for whom this has been a difficult few months. Staff have picked up on things with Mum and dealt with them quickly and effectively and have always taken time to listen to our worries and concerns. I could not recommend Brancepeth Court highly enough.
I came here for respite care on the 09/06/2023 until 05/07/2023. Wonderful care here, the food is wonderful and staff were superb. Would recommend this home to anybody who needs looking after.
I highly recommend this home, they have helped my Mam so much that she is now well enough to go home. The care and management team are all amazing, the home itself is clean, today and the new decor is lovely, so inviting and homely.
We cannot thank the care staff and management enough for all they have done for my mum in law. The care staff have gone above and beyond to assist her to get back on her feet and to be able to return home, and management, nothing was even a bother, anything we needed was done straight away, such a caring lovely Manager they have. The home itself is very clean and inviting, the lounges that have just been decorated look stunning, we will be recommending this home to all our friends and family.
Lovely staff, go above and beyond. Gran is very happy with her carers.
I have a dear friend who is a resident. She is well looked after and seems content to be there. The home is clean and fresh. A pleasure to visit.
Excellent experience with kind and thoughtful care, would certainly recommend for anyone who needs temporary or long-term care. Organised music is lively and lovely to see.
I work for mental health advocacy service. I am a Relevant Person’s Representative to many clients in Willington Care Village. I have to say, Rose Cottage is outstanding in the level of care they provide. They fully interact and stimulate all residents in the unit and this is visible when visiting the unit. Residents appear happy and content. The staff show great awareness of each individual and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
Satisfied with the care given day to day. However, when issues are raised e.g dental care appointment had to be repeatedly followed up as Dad had a broken tooth and pain for over four weeks. When a light bulb went off in his room, it took four days to be replaced.
Fantastic staff. No problems. Dad very well looked after.
Found the home needed refreshing on the decor. The staff are excellent and very friendly and caring. Will recommend the home to anyone who asks my opinion. Thought that more staff may be needed, but those that are available are very good and professional.
Clean and tidy. The staff are mostly helpful.
