Holly Lodge Care Home is a clean, well kept and friendly home. The staff are kind, professional and efficient. They are understanding of the needs of their patients. My friend's health improved immensely in the home. Their care made all the difference. Thank you.

My mam is a resident at Holly Lodge Care Home. The care is outstanding and my mam gets well looked after.

The home have been very supportive, not only to my sister but to myself and other family members. During the decision making process of admitting her into a care home, and the guilt that went with that decision. Their support has continued from the first day when my sisters resistance was apparent. Their manner in dealing with her, and how she is treated on a daily basis shows great compassion for her condition and needs. She is very settled even though I know she has her stubborn moments.

The care is of a good standard, there is always room for improvement, nothing is perfect. The staff have a difficult task dealing with residents with different complex needs and do a good job.

The staff are continually attentive and considerate of all residents. My mum has recently had a fall and the care she received was above and beyond what was expected. Management are also always caring and listens to any concerns and action is taken to resolve any issues that may arise. I could not praise them enough.

I have visited my father-in-law a few times now, he has been made to feel very welcome and is settling in nicely, the staff are very friendly and accommodating and always have time to answer any queries or concerns, the place is very clean and the little garden is kept nice for residents.

The staff are so caring. My mum has been treated with dignity and compassion. We couldn't have asked for anywhere nicer.

I've found everyone to be immensely welcoming, thoughtful and kind. The staff are attentive to my mother's comfort and safety and demonstrate their interest and concern for her well-being at every stage. It is very reassuring to know my mother is in such good hands.

I do not know what we have done without the caring, compassionate support of all the staff at Holly Lodge Care Home. They tackle each issue, as it arises with professionalism and a warm, caring attitude that makes the fragile situation with my dear wife more bearable. We are so grateful and owe them so much.

We would just like to say a huge thank you to all the staff for looking after the lady we visit frequently. She is very old and a wonderful lady but is very poorly at the moment. Your staff have been marvelous with her and we do appreciate everything you've all done. Thank you all.

I do not think we could have found a better care home for my father than Holly Lodge. The rooms and facilities are kept spotlessly clean and although I have not sampled the meals provided, they smell and look both delicious and nutritious. The staff go the extra mile to ensure he is well looked after and I have complete peace of mind that he is finally safe. Regular activities and contact ensure he is not as bored and lonely as he was when at home. The family can visit any time and always receive a warm welcome from everyone.

My mother-in-law spent 18 months at Holly Lodge and my mother has now been a resident for over a year. Nobody wants their family to leave their home for full-time care, but there comes a time when this is inevitable and if a Care Home has to be chosen then Holly Lodge is top of the list. The staff are kind and helpful under the caring management who always has time for everyone, residents and their visitors alike.

We cannot praise all of the staff enough for the outstanding respite care they gave my mother-in-law. They were very welcoming and kind, not only to my mother-in-law but to the whole family. We felt at ease straight away and were happy to leave her in their care. Whenever we visited there were always lots of staff visible and actually sat socialising with residents in the lounge. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the home and all of the genuinely kind and caring staff.

The home is well equipped and generally very clean and tidy, although the individual room and bathroom would benefit from more regular hoovering and cleaning. My relative is very well looked after and the staff are very caring. As always if would be lovely if they could find a little more time with him just to chat, but I realise this is very difficult given staffing in the sector, but overall I am reassured he is safe, well and well cared for.

The staff are fantastic! Rooms and facilities seem to be in good condition and well decorated. The gardens are well kept. Mother is happy so that is the most important thing.

My father was taken in for 2 weeks respite care and has been in now for 7 weeks. He has special needs and requirements. The staff have worked with us to help him and update his care plans he feels comfortable and settled. I can't thank them enough for what they have done to help him. He is now settled and happy and enjoys the knowledge of having the best of both worlds.

Holly Lodge Care Home is always clean and tidy and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Mum is well looked after and the staff always let us know straight away if there are any issues with Mum. I am very happy that Mum is a resident at Holly Lodge because I know she is safe and well looked after which gives me massive peace of mind.

As usual met with a friendly member of staff. Decided on this visit to take my wife out for a walk and no problems getting her ready. After returning took her upstairs and caters helped me get my wife settled and made her a cuppa.
