My mother was resident at Lyons Court for a period of over 4 years between 2014 and 2018, over this period of time the home saw a number of changes to the physical environment (not all for the better) and a number of changes in management. Throughout this time a core staff at the working level remained stable. This core staff working as a team always maintained a caring environment and provided a stable, secure atmosphere. The most recent Care Quality Commission report (early 2018) reflects the improvements made in the management structure and systems. Above this, it is the caring attitude of the staff at a working level, largely drawn from the local community that gave me the peace of mind that my mother was being well looked after for the period of her stay.
