View Full Details of Bridge ViewI can not thank the staff at Bridge View enough for the care and support they have given over the last few months. My grandma sadly passed away yesterday but was treated with such dignity and respect throughout. Outstanding carers who genuinely care, approachable and compassionate management. They looked after her like they would their own family and I will be forever grateful. Thank you.
My mam was a resident here for ten months until her passing on November 14th 2024. The manager and his staff are, without doubt, the best ever. Dignity, respect and total love and care were displayed always toward Mam and us, as a family. Always supportive and kind. You are safe in the knowledge your loved one is respected. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you is not enough!
The care my mother recieved was excellent, they made her last few hours better than I could ever imagine, especially the care my mam recieved on her last day. The two young carers, the manager who went above and beyond their job role that day ensuring my mam was comfortable and pain-free and treating the family with care and empathy. Big thank you to the senior carer who got everything in place we asked for and the care she gave my mam, honestly can't thank you all enough for what you did.
It was with great trepidation that we moved Dad (he has dementia) into Bridgeview but we are so glad we did. Although he is getting older and frailer, Dad has settled in extremely well and has a beautiful room. The home itself is in a lovely setting with views of open grassland. The carers have been just gorgeous. The carers give us and Dad the widest smiles and always have some good news; it is so good to hear that he's making connections and forging relationships with the staff. The nurses are extremely on the ball, keeping us up to date and contacting the doctor/dentist in a very timely manner if they are concerned. Of course the warm, caring, professional ethos comes from the management and the manager demonstrates this on a daily basis. It is clear to see the value he puts into the care each resident receives and is readily available for a chat if there are issues or worries. He also values his staff and the home team spirit and warm ethos is everywhere.
The staff at Bridge View were exceptional - every one of them. My mother has Alzheimer's and they were very good with her when she was feeling low and unsettled. The meals were always hot and the portion sizes were really good. The home itself was immaculate, no offensive smell when you go in either.
All of our family find all staff are great to the residents and families, they will do anything. The manager and admin staff are so helpful and easy to talk to. The activities are always on going and very clean home.
Since Mum moved in permanently over a year ago with all the help and understanding. We now feel we can relax as she is well looked after and all her needs are met with 24-hour care.
I just observed my dad take part in an exercise activity. He thoroughly enjoyed the class. He took part and participated more than I have seen him do in a long time. He really benefitted from it. He was proud of how much he could do. Thank you.
Following the move from a care home to a nursing home, my sister settled in really well. This is due to the excellent care and consideration from the excellent staff. They have been patient, kind and understanding at some difficult times. I cannot commend them enough.
My husband was in a couple of care homes before. We were not happy with the care and safety, walking to find him in a poor standard. He had to go into hospital. Finding Bridge View was amazing. The care is wonderful. My husband is happy, clean, and very comfortable. He was unable to eat but the manager has sorted it so that his food is pureed. I know I can leave him safe in the hands of the wonderful staff.
Following a stroke and progressive dementia, my father is needing 24hour nursing care. After a previous bad experience in another home, you can imagine the stress and apprehension we felt, ensuring the next home was right for his needs. We need not have worried. Our initial viewing at Bridge View, gave us a very positive first impression. The lady who showed us around was extremely warm and caring and indeed all the staff were extremely friendly and a very good first impression from everyone. Every question was answered. We viewed dad's potential room, which was on the nursing side. It was newly decorated with ensuite, a nice size with a lovely view of the Dene. Dad moved in that week and many weeks later we are still seeing good practice. We visit daily at varying times and we have witnessed lots of genuine, caring, lovely staff. Dad is the most special person to us and choosing the right place for your loved one is daunting. All I can say is, Bridge View, has been good for Dad and for us.
We have had no negative experiences. The staff and management are kind, caring and highly professional.
Friendly, caring staff.
My father received excellent care and compassion from the care staff until he recently died. Bridge View Care Home has an exceptionally clean and bright environment. The care staff could not do enough to support us all. I would not hesitate to recommend Bridge View Care Home.
Lovely, caring and compassionate staff. Mam is well cared for.
Can't say enough positives about the staff.
All staff are very friendly and caring. They have the clients' health and respect at all times. Would recommend the care home to everybody.
Settled in well and always made to feel welcome. Would have preferred some written information on the home at the outset.
Lovely clean home. The staff are very friendly and have been very professional during Covid and display empathy to the family. Lots of activities available to engage in. The staff are happy to assist with any concerns.
With everything going on, you are still welcomed warmly and friendly, also professional. Seen my husband today for the first time properly since March. I was tested before I entered, once test done, I was shown up to his room. The smile on his face was so precious and satisfying for us both. He is cared for with dignity; it is so comforting for us both.
