View Full Details of Bradshaw Manor Care HomeThis is a wonderful Nursing Home! I wish I could give it 10 stars. My mother had the most amazing team looking after her. She was truly cared for in every possible way during the year she spent at Bradshaw Manor. Everyone was so lovely and dedicated and kept us as a family updated on our visits or when ever necessary. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your love and care. We are so lucky our mother was with you all.
What can I say about Bradshaw Manor. Lovely home, fantastic care, very friendly approachable staff throughout. Very clean and warm. I would not hesitate to recommend this home. The flexibility for visiting was important as some of us weren't particularly close to Rhyl. From a personal point of view If anyone from Bradshaw reads this I just want to say I really appreciate the way you were with me and my family. Very much appreciated.
My father was lucky to have been accepted into Bradshaw Manor, everyone was so friendly, caring and efficient. Faultless experience.
Bradshaw Manor Care Home has been home to my mother for over eight years and during this time, I can honestly say she has had the best level of support, care and nursing for her slowly deteriorating condition. The staff and, in particular, the senior nursing staff have always been helpful, friendly and good at communicating. My auntie also spent a number of years in the same care home and as a family, we always felt that we'd undoubtedly made the right care decision for both of them. The entertainment is varied and suitably promoted in the home and across social media. Unfortunately, in the past few years, Mum has been unable to partake but still enjoys her regular visits to the hairdressers.
Overall, my dad is very pleased and happy here.
Bradshaw Manor has been the perfect place for a dear friend of mine. He has been here for 2 years. I visit him at least 2-3 times a week and the care he receives is first class. The food is wonderful, his room is spotless and it is obvious that the staff genuinely care for all the residents. The entertainment is great and it is lovely to see the residents all join in. I tell all my friends and family that Bradshaw Manor is a wonderful care home. I am always greeted with a smile and a chat when I arrive, and always made welcome.
I highly recommend Bradshaw Manor as an excellent home for the care of friends/relatives. Having seen the professional and friendly care provided to my close friend over the last 3 years, I compliment the staff for their work, consideration and dedication in looking after residents. My friend was worried about moving into a nursing home but she soon settled in well and often said how she loved the staff there.
My mother was a resident from October 2022 to January 2024, mainly in dementia care but in the end in nursing care. I found that my mother received excellent care, hygiene care and dietary care during this time and I would (and have on many occasions) recommend this home to other people looking for placements for relatives. All of the staff that I encountered went above and beyond to look after my mother and nothing was too much trouble. At the end, my mother was placed in nursing care and she was well looked after and treated with utmost dignity to the end by caring, dedicated nursing staff.
My mum has been a resident for over 12 months...sadly she has vascular dementia so is unable to verbally communicate! During her time in Bradshaw Manor every single member of staff, be it cleaner, carer/nurse, hairdresser, management team or activity staff treats her with kindness, respect and dignity. We had many concerns about Mum going into a care home, however, we could not be happier with the care and compassion she receives. The home itself has a warm friendly atmosphere which is lovely. The effort made to make it special at Christmas was second to none with visits from reindeer, sparkle the horse & choirs plus lots of other activities was amazing! The Christmas decorations were lovely! The dining room is always dressed for each meal making it seem special for all the residents! 10 out of 10 for each and every member of staff they are all absolutely amazing! Thank you!
Overall Bradshaw Manor is very good. Staff are lovely and go above and beyond to look after all of the residents, however, on occasions there is a shortage of staff which does obviously show. Food is good. The warmth from all of the care staff comes across and I feel they genuinely care about the residents, and do regular reviews of their welfare. I find that the activities for the residents to join in are good if they have the staff to carry them out.
My mum moved there from a residential home when she needed nursing care. We thought the previous home was good but Bradshaw Manor was outstanding. The love and care shown to her by all her carers was amazing. She was always clean, her hair done, and always dressed in her day clothes, wearing her own clothes (not somebody else's). The staff always ensured she was stimulated and involved in the activities. The lovely staff were also very supportive of myself and my sister too - guiding and advising us. We cannot speak highly enough of the home and the staff and we always be grateful to them for the kindness and compassion they showed Mum.
Go above and beyond to help my aunt. Thank you so much, she’s clean and tidy. Her room is lovely. I can’t thank you enough. The carers are so nice, and friendly and always stop for a chat. Every time I go there I’m greeted with a smile at the door. I’m always asked if I’d like a cup of tea. I would definitely recommend Bradshaw Manor.
My aunt has been in Bradshaw Manor for just over a year. She has settled in so well and the staff are lovely. They have been very caring and compassionate with her. She is immobile and suffers from cognitive impairment. She could not be in a better care home. I live 500 miles away from Rhyl and am her only relative, so it is very important to know she is safe and looked after. Bradshaw Manor is by far the best choice for her.
The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The home is nicely decorated and welcoming. Mum's care is excellent, her room is clean and homely. The home keeps me informed of any changes/ and or updates on Mum's wellbeing.
I was very concerned when my father had to move into a home. My fears and worries melted away on seeing the staff interaction not just with my dad, but all patients. My dad lives for his hot cup of tea and their constant supply of tea makes this home a home from home. The little things can and do, make such a big difference. I cannot speak highly enough of the great staff at Bradshaw Manor Care Home, nothing is too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bradshaw Manor to anyone.
My wife has been a resident at Bradshaw Manor Care Home for seven years, latterly taken over by Lovett Care. I visit her regularly and on every occasion, she has been clean and well cared for. The home is clean, well-kept and the staff are always ready to give any information re. my wife and her condition, her being unable to speak or have any great movement. On the whole, she is being well cared for and I am grateful for Bradshaw Manor and the staff for taking care of her.
My mother was only with you for four weeks before she passed away but at this very important time of her life, I found the care in Bradshaw Manor Care Home to be of a very high standard. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any staff member and I could not have wished for better end-of-life care. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bradshaw Manor to anyone.
Wonderful home, happy, helpful staff, including the manager who makes sure nothing too much trouble. My mum loves a chat and there’s no shortage of banter and conversation going on while going about their day. It really does feel like home and family.
Bradshaw Manor Care Home looked after Mum for just under a year until she sadly passed away. We looked at a lot (and I mean a lot) of care homes across England and Wales before choosing Bradshaw Manor for Mum so I can say with confidence it is one of the very best. There are always plenty of staff around, who pop their head frequently into every resident's room and check on everybody carefully. Every member of staff we met with no exceptions has been kind, pleasant and interested in Mum's welfare they are amazing and a credit to their profession. You can trust Bradshaw Manor to take excellent care of your loved one and if you are lucky enough to be offered a room there, I would grab it.
All staff have been very thoughtful and caring.
