View Full Details of Queen Elizabeth CourtMy mum is thriving under the care of the truly wonderful staff at Queen Elizabeth Court. As mum's condition has deteriorated, I have had experience of her living in 4 placed offering varying levels of care. Queen Elizabeth Court is by far and away the best, despite doing research and thinking I was always getting the best possible care for mum, in the past I've been very disappointed. However, Queen Elizabeth Court is like a breath of fresh air, the food, staff, cleanliness and the entertainment/stimulation offered is second to none. All care establishments should strive to be like Queen Elizabeth Court. Mum is so much happier and so am I.
My uncle is a very independent man in the later stages of dementia. He had been living alone but with frequent falls needed 24-hour care. Queen Elizabeth Court is so different to other care homes I have visited. There is a relaxed atmosphere and everyone is so friendly, staff mingle with residents either in the lounge or in their own very pleasant room. They take the trouble to find out about each resident and then act upon the information to interact with them individually. My uncle is given the freedom to get up and dressed when he wants and to walk freely with the secure wing. This gives him the same feeling of control he had in his own home. Everything is discreetly monitored so residents don't feel they are being watched but I can feel confident that if there were a problem it would be spotted immediately. I didn't think there would be a care home where my Uncle would be content but Queen Elizabeth Court fills the bill perfectly and I am so pleased to have found it.
I really cannot fault the home at all and that is exactly what it is, a home. The staff are so friendly and caring and it is immaculately clean. So much effort goes into the activities for the residents. My mum really enjoys this and enjoys socialising with others. It's nice to see my mum smiling and we as a family have got back the quality of spending time with Mum.
My stay of one month respite at Queen Elizabeth Court was everything I was led to believe. Excellent.
It was wih great sadness that we had to resort to finding a care home for my father but it has been such a wonderful and happy experience coming to Queen Elizabeth Court. The way my father and us as a family have been treated has been with care and dignity and the staff in the home are truly the best. It is the staff who make it such a lovely place and the care and kindness is quite incredible! The environment as well - it is light, bright and doesn't feel like a care home. We couldn't wish for a nicer place for Dad.
Always a pleasure to come and see my aunt in Queen Elizabeth Court. She is happy and very well looked after. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend Queen Elizabeth Court, it is an excellent care home.
Still happy with the care that my mother-in-law is receiving. The staff are always helpful and smiling and look after her very well.
My mum has been a resident for 2 years and the care and service is second to none and she is very happy.
The care has been excellent in Queen Elizabeth Llandudno. All staff committed to their roles in this home. Will highly recommend this home. I/we hope to return for respite in the future months/years.
My experience with Queen Elizabeth Court the year my mother stayed. Positives: amazing care with the nurses and carers at both residential and the nursing side. We did have a few issues with a couple of carers but was sorted quickly. Negatives: needs a bit of a revamp in places! Office and management overall make you feel very uncomfortable: Covid situations don't help. Both reception ladies are extremely nice - thoughtful and compassionate. My mum had the best end-of-life care there.
We had mixed results finding a suitable care opportunity for Mum until we heard about Queen Elizabeth Court in Llandudno. It was clear within seconds of walking through the door the first time that we had found what the family was looking for, an environment of professionalism and outstanding care. Over the subsequent months, as we got to know some of the amazing carers and other staff, these first impressions have been substantially reinforced. Though Mum’s condition raises frequent challenges, we have seen that support has been rallied in a timely and appropriate manner when needed. It is difficult to place the life of a much loved and close relative in the hands of others, but we know we could not do better than Queen Elizabeth Court, now part of our extended family.
Most of all the staff are outstanding, kind, patient and above all very caring. The home is spotless.
I cannot praise Queen Elizabeth Court highly enough. The staff are all lovely. Nothing is too much trouble and they take excellent care of all the residents at the home. The facilities are clean, well-maintained and very welcoming. My mother has made excellent progress whilst residing at Queen Elizabeth Court.
My husband is well cared for and am happy with all aspects of his care. I also find the staff go the extra mile to make sure he is comfortable. The staff also make sure to answer any concerns I might have and I feel welcome when visiting.
My brother is on the nursing side of the building. The nurses and carers seem to manage him well and like anywhere, there is good and okay staff. In my opinion, I feel the rooms could be better if repainted when empty and the telephone system upgraded so hands-free phones could be used and taken to the residents, so contact is easy for relatives and friends.
My mum has never been happier. The care is outstanding, after a very poorly time and Mum ending up in hospital. The care home literally saved my mum's life. The nursing staff are amazing with the relatives as well as my mum. My mum is still with us today, because of the care of the team at Queen Elizabeth Court. Can't thank you enough.
My father has been cared for at the dementia support unit for over two years. He is very well cared for and is always comfortable and cheerful. The staff are excellent. Would recommend to anyone.
Since becoming a resident, I feel a lot more comfortable and protected. The atmosphere is very good and positive.

My mother is in the nursery wing and receives excellent care. The staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for her.
