View Full Details of Morgana Court and LodgeMy Dad has been at Morgana Court for just over two years. The care is superb. The staff are caring and very kind. They know my Dad's preferences, likes/dislikes and what routine he favours. He is always clean, showered, shaved. As a family, we are well informed and included in decisions about his care. I know I can always chat with the staff about any concerns. My Dad loves the food and there is a good choice. His room is always clean and tidy.
I am very happy with the care my mam is getting at Morgana Court and Lodge. The staff are very caring and lovely and I have no worries about things regarding the home and the care for my mam.
Staff are so good and kind and caring. My son is settled and content and made my life so much better. Thank you so much.
Disappointed that there has been no improvement on being able to gain entry to see my grandma. Waited 45 minutes on one occasion to get in. Attitude on some staff (mostly managers) is disgusting. They speak to you with no respect and like they know my grandma better than her family. Entertainment and activities available could be massively improved. Some entertainment and activities seem very cheap and not well-prepared or thought out. Parking is a nightmare there, especially as there is a skip taking up space in the car park. Seating in communal area for visitors is extremely limited, more movable seats would be good.
I would like to say the care home has given my next of kin a new lease of life. She is well cared for every effort is made to make her feel at home. She lived on her own before moving to Morgana Court and Lodge and I'm sure she felt isolated. She loves the company and the care she has been given. The staff are incredible nothing is too much trouble. I couldn't be happier with the care home. Many, many thanks to the staff on mine and her behalf.
Where to start - my wife has vascular dementia and the only thing I can say is the staff are wonderful, the food is wonderful and the accommodation is second to none. All in all its a place that I have no problem recommending Morgana Court to anyone
Really pleased with the attitude of everyone I have dealt with. There seems to be a genuine effort to be helpful and caring. You feel you are on the same side, both interested in the residents care which is really refreshing.
Very friendly supportive staff. My dad is well looked after and very happy thank you, enjoying his time and looking very happy and very healthy. He enjoys the activities and gathering in the new conservatory making new friends.
The staff overall are very caring and understanding especially in view of mother's lack of sight which creates an issue regarding her need for constant attention, which obviously is not possible. The food she says is excellent as is her room, though we did have to ask for the medication cupboard to be moved after she hit and cut her head on it. Although mother has only been a resident for six weeks we have come to know several members of staff and have been very pleased with their attitude and support with some of mother's issues.
The staff at the Lodge are excellent and treat my mother with the utmost care and compassion and allow her to keep her dignity - I cannot fault them one bit. All the staff are very welcoming and we are more than happy at the level of care she is receiving.
The staff are great, wonderful. The staff make it nice for my mother who lives there permanently, a safe lovely place. Staff make it that way, you know you can trust the people who look after them, they are so lovely like family.
It is a pleasure to walk into the home and all communal areas and this is due to the excellent cleanliness throughout. Exceptional care has been shown to our uncle since he has been a resident at Morganna Court. Most friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble for them. Very approachable and we are kept fully informed of our Uncle's health and well-being. We have highly recommended Morganna Court to friends. Keep up the good work.
I have been very pleased with the care my mother and uncle have both received at Morgana Court and Lodge Care Home. The staff are particularly kind and caring, with plenty of time for the residents, promoting a homely feel with lots of activities to stimulate and entertain. Communication is very good. Both homes are spacious with good facilities including nutritious food. I am very happy to have chosen Morgana Court and Lodge for my nearest and dearest and would recommend them to others.
My mother is a resident of Morgana Lodge and I can't begin to say how relieved I am that my mother is getting the best care there. I live far away and can't visit on a regular basis, but every time I call (I try to call at least 3 times a week), I am given all necessary information on my mother's well being, eating, drinking, happiness, etc. I get to talk to her every time and the staff always make me feel like I'm a part of my mother's care. They are always happy to put my mam on the phone for me to talk to her, they never make me feel like it's an inconvenience. I have family visiting her and they always say the same thing - that the Lodge is taking really good care of her and she looks really well. In fact, I enjoy calling and speaking to the staff as they are so friendly and I would say that they treat my mam like family. So grateful for all that they do for her.
It's not an easy decision or realisation that your loved one needs to go into a care home even more so when this needed to happen during the Covid pandemic and we were cut off from Mum. Thankfully we chose Morgana Court and Lodge. Mum has been and continues to be cared for to the highest standard by an amazing team, it was a horrendous time seeing Mum struggling but now because of the team around her we see a settled and happy Mum once again, who still has a voice and quality of life, we will forever be thankful to you all.
Beautiful and caring staff both day and night, they work really hard to care for residents like their own family working round the clock and treating them with dignity, the food is lovely and I always had a cuppa like family.
My wife has advanced Alzheimer's disease and is in a wheelchair during waking hours. In hospital, her quality of life was poor and even the short-term outlook appeared bleak. Since moving into Morgana Court, 17 months ago, her quality of life has been better than I had thought possible. Within a week of her moving in, the nurses and management met with my family and drew up a care plan which was so much more in tune with my wife's needs than that provided by the hospital. There was an almost immediate improvement in her well-being, which gave us great confidence in the care home staff. The management, the nurses and care staff are extremely caring and conscientious and treat my wife and the other residents as family members. They provide stimulation, positivity and a range of activities. My wife's diet is limited to pureed food, but the kitchen staff produce attractively presented meals for her. It's a home from home. The quality of care provided is excellent. Highly recommended.
My mum is now a few months into being at the home. Mum is, at times, a wanderer and is up and down. The home has gone up and beyond to deal with my mum to make her safe and I know now she is very safe. Staff are all great, they call me to let me know when Mum's ok and when I need to know something. So thanks to the team for everything you do for my mum.
The patience, care and understanding towards my sister by the staff has been exemplary. She has been at the home for 2 and a half months now and our confidence in the staff is well founded. Use of the well kept gardens to front and rear means we can take her out, weather permitting. Overall an excellent home for her care.
All staff displayed a caring and thoughtful approach to all areas of their activities. Clean and fresh throughout. Difficult to find any fault.
