View Full Details of Meadowlands Care HomeCan't thank the staff for the love and care that they give to mum. Mums been there since January and has settled in so well, she is well cared for and comfortable. It's clean comfortable and the food options are excellent. Seeing mum so settled reassures us as a family. Thank you so much we appreciate everything you do for mum
From the outset the staff have been excellent, efficient and compassionate. They clearly treat everyone with dignity and care. They all actively engage with family members and this has helped my family come to terms with the transition. We believe that the new home for mum will enable her to receive the care she needs and the dignity she deserves.
I'm deeply disappointed with the standard of care at this home. The visitor book is not monitored and not signed by everyone, raising serious concerns about security. The facilities are sparse and feel bare, offering no sense of comfort or warmth. There is a clear lack of stimulation or engaging activities for residents. Staff appear very young and inexperienced, and sadly, often give the impression that they simply don't care. Vegetarian options are virtually non-existent-meals are just the standard dishes with the meat removed, which is unacceptable. On one visit, I witnessed a drink spilled on the floor and staff sitting nearby doing nothing about it, even after being informed. It feels like only the bare minimum is being provided here. It's heartbreaking to see a loved one in such a bleak and uncaring environment. Families entrust homes with the well-being of those they care about most-this place is failing that responsibility.
My mother since coming to Meadowlands home has been amazing shes more settled mentally. I can't say how much I appreciate the staff here their amazing.
The staff are more than happy to do anything that is asked of them they are kind + caring to both myself and the resident spouse.
All staff are caring and friendly and good at what they do. The food is very good and more than enough for all, they welcome me at all times with a smile and a cup of coffee. The home is clean and so is my husband and always dressed and clean whenever I visit.
The staff are really friendly, helpful and courteous. My sister is treated with care, compassion and dignity. I came to visit whilst the staff were putting on a Christmas sing-a-long, everyone was having a great time, residents, staff and even the guests! My sister is in great hands.
Always welcome to visit and staff very friendly. Can't think of any negatives although occasionally have to wait outside the front door to be let in, but this is obviously a positive regarding security.
The care and support my mother receives is very good. Always friendly staff and plenty of welcome. My mother needs are met fully and the reviews are very very person centered for her care plan for the future. Thank you to everyone in the care home.
My mother has only been here for a short period but in that time we have seen an improvement in her legs. All the staff have been fantastic with mam and both me and my especially my dad, who has been made very welcome and put to ease with regards to mams care.
Excellent care, my mother has been here for 12 months, brilliant staff.
Staff are always friendly and pleasant every time I arrive. They are also very good to my mother.
Staff gave Dad a lovely welcome from day one, so lovely to see Dad is settling and we as a whole family can't thank you enough for the effort made on Dad's birthday.
Staff lovely and very helpful. Dad seems settled and very well cared for. Dad has been welcomed by all the staff and obviously been made to feel safe to have so quickly settled here. The effort made here for his birthday was so appreciated by us all!
As a family, we have found the staff to be very attentive to my husband's needs. From what we have seen, he is treated with warmth and kindness. There is good communication between staff and ourselves also.
The staff are very helpful. They look after my wife well and activities are very good.
We can only praise and thank the staff in Meadowlands for the love and care given to our brother during his time there. This love was also extended to his family.
My father-in-law has been in your care since January - most of the time, he is settled and cared for. In my opinion, he was far more comfortable upstairs, which has been discussed with management. This issue has hopefully been resolved with him being placed back upstairs. Overall, he is well looked after and cared for by the staff.
My mother lived at Meadowlands Care Home for nearly five years until her recent death. During her time there the staff gave her excellent care and treated her with kindness and respect. They made her life as happy and as full as possible with various activities and when she was in better health she also had trips out to local cafés. The manager and staff were also very helpful and kind towards me and my family. I was always informed if a problem arose with my mother's health and consequently, I felt confident about the care she was receiving. I would recommend Meadowlands to anyone who needed residential care.
The staff at the home are very lovely. They are kind and considerate. They go the extra mile with my mum, knowing her likes and dislikes they follow these. I am sure that this helps my mother a lot. They are very friendly and welcoming to us at all times. Nothing is too much trouble. Common areas are very smart. The individual rooms are a little tired.
