The care home is lovely, all the staff are really helpful and welcoming. The Bellavista is bright, homely and really clean. The care staff are wonderful and I'm so happy my father is being looked after here. Thank you for all that you do, it is so comforting to us as a family that our dad is cared for here. Warm wishes.

I have been very pleased with the way my mum has been cared for so far. The staff are very caring and have spent time getting to know my mum. They are very patient and also have made every attempt to feedback to us the progress Mum has been making. I was very concerned about having to put Mum in a nursing home but the process has been made much easier because of the staff. We are always welcomed at any time of day.

My mother has been at Bellavista Nursing Home Cardiff over six months - we feel that she is really safe and well cared for. We all would like the cost to be lower - however, we understand the commercial reality. The staff are excellent - so caring and genuinely engaged with my mother, they are all polite, pleasant and helpful and there are a few who are superstars. We know that our mother is safe - which is our main concern. The staff at Bellavista make her happy - which is a bonus.

Putting your loved one is a very difficult experience for any family, dad became too much medically for us to have him at home. Bellavista Care Home and staff are all wonderful. Dad is well cared for. The food is good, they even offered me Sunday lunch this week, vegetable are all fresh and well cooked. Trifles and cakes all made on site. Staff are hard working always smiling and very caring. One staff member in particular does the work of three people and never stops moving, a real asset to the company. Well done and thanks for being there, all of you.

My husband has Alzheimer's dementia and was admitted to the home in May 2024. I had visited the home prior to his admission and was immediately impressed by the bright, cheerful decor and the friendly, caring staff who I met that day. I visit my husband regularly and continue to be in awe of how well the home is run and the many activities that are organised for residents and families. I'm so relieved that my husband is in such a kind, caring environment!

My dad seems happy here and seems content. Staff are always happy and helpful and satisfy ours and Dad's needs.

The staff are very caring, the facility is very clean and always tidy. The only problem I have is the resident's laundry that keeps going missing even though it's tagged with his name. Other than that, the facility and staff are amazing.

All staff are polite and helpful and look after my son with great care. Would be nice to see staff with name badges so we know who they are and what their position is within the company. It's also lovely how they involve everybody in what they do.

Mum has only been in the home since December 2023 but the care provided has been excellent. The staff go above and beyond for Mum and my dad when he visits. Only one complaint with regard to laundry, things are very often misplaced into other rooms or takes a while to arrive back from the laundry room.

Management and Staff are very friendly and caring towards residents and visitors, always making you feel welcome. Very convenient visiting times, anytime during the day and evening. Very satisfied my dad is being looked after so well.

The Bella Vista Nursing Home Cardiff had recently been taken over when my father-in-law became resident in December 2106. It was apparent that many changes were already taking place with plans for many more. All then rooms had been redecorated, each had its own bathroom. Each floor was secured by codes on entrance doors and lifts which assured me of his safety. On my father-in-law's floor there are three lounges. Residents are able to eat meals in their rooms if they wish but are encouraged to use in the dining room. There is also a theatre room with a large screen for residents to watch sports or other entertainment. Relatives are welcome. My father-in-law has made no complaint regarding the varied selection of meals and every effort is made to provide something else if need be. He is always clean, the laundry being done every day. The care he receives is very good, staff are very kind to him even though he can be quite demanding on times.

Bella Vista Nursing Home exceeded our expectations. The care that my aunt received was exemplary. The kindness and professionalism displayed by all the staff, from the nursing team and carers were excellent. My aunt's needs were dealt with using a range of professionals brought in to enhance the care needs that she had. She received visits from GPs and Marie Curie nurses. She also had access to a nurse that had a specialist knowledge of bed sores. She received the level of care that you would expect from a hospice. She had a kind, dignified and caring place to end her life. When you are away from your loved one it gives peace of mind to have 24-hour access to staff and it was never any trouble for them to give a report of the exact state of affairs. The senior nurses we spoke to were professional, caring and experienced in their roles. I can honestly say that I was completely confident that my aunt was receiving a very high standard of care. Thanks to the whole team.

The whole team at Bellavista Nursing Home Cardiff have made the transition from home to nursing home a smooth one. Someone is always available to answer any questions that I might have. I have found all members of staff extremely friendly and helpful. I have been very impressed with the high standard of care provided.

I am very pleased with the way my Father is being looked after and the care he is receiving. The activities are excellent and the home is looking much brighter now the new owners are making lots of improvements . When I visit Dad there is always someone who will update me on how he is getting on. I would definitely recommend Bellavista Nursing Home .

No complaints about the care home or staff. Food seems to be at a good level and plentiful. Room has all necessities and is clean. Management always very positive. Resident occasionally complains about the long waits between food and the fact that no carer has been in for a while (although understand that most of the time resident is sleeping).

My father in law was in this Home for the last 2 years before his recent death. The care he received was exemplary. His room was warm, clean and comfortable. There was always a good variety of nutritious food with two choices for the main meal. Any questions regarding his care and wellbeing were dealt with in a sensitive, caring and dignified manner. Should there be any issues regarding his health or it was felt he needed hospital treatment we were informed without delay. Family and friends were always welcomed. The staff were extremely caring and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending this Home in caring for a loved one.
