View Full Details of St Martin's Court Care HomeIt is so good to see my mother enjoying the company of the other residents. The care and facilities are very good. All the family think that this home is what was needed for our mother, as she was mostly on her own in her home.
I would like to say a big thank you to everyone at St Martin's Court for making my mother and myself so welcome. I feel a part of one big family. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you.
Generally very good, however, there was one male carer whose attitude was not so good. This was reported a few times but the carer still remained with my father.
I am extremely happy with the care my mother is receiving. The home is always spotless and no sign of urine smelled. Always fresh and this is something I have observed in other homes not to be. So 10/10 from me. The staff are hard working, very kind and patient. Cannot do enough for the residents. The sounds of laughter as they engage with residents. In a perfect world, there could be more staff but with the staffing levels they have, they are doing an incredible job.
Pleasant environment, friendly staff. Premises clean and well maintained. My father definitely more settled here than he has been in the other respite location.
My mum passed away on 5-6-24 in St Martins Court after 9.5 years and in that she was looked after to a very high standard. The staff were so polite to mum and family and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Would recommend the home to anybody you should be very proud of the management and staff. Thanking you.
My mother-in-law has been here since September 2023. In that time we have found all staff to be very professional in their approach. If we have had any issues the manager has always been very approachable and helpful to help us get these resolved. The home puts activities/shows on for the residents which is great. The menu choices and food presentation is excellent. Staff always call for a monthly review which gives us peace of mind too.
My father arrived at St Martin's Court from the hospital that he had spent some weeks in. On arriving, the staff knew his needs and addressed them so attentively. The home is extremely clean and very secure, which was so important to me. Each and every member of staff was always friendly and welcoming. In the very short time that my father was there before he passed away, a care worker there always listened to my questions and gave the answers and the care and respect my father needed. I cannot explain how grateful I am to that staff member for her care, attention and dedication to my father and her job. She is a credit at the home. Thank you so very much.
The staff are very friendly and brilliant to the residents. Very efficient and kind. My mam and dad love it there and can't praise it enough. My brothers and I are glad they are looked after and cared for so respectably. (100%).
The staff at St Martin's Court are exceptional, always ready to assist and help. The facilities are clean and well organised. My father is very happy there. I would highly recommend it!
Very friendly, staff always happy to help - very clean and my mother-in-law is always dressed lovely. Food is plentiful and they have drinks all times. Extremely pleased with everything and have no complaints.
My dad seems happy at the home. Personal hygiene could be better. Staff are friendly and helpful. Communication of daily activities could be better.
Recommend this care home 99.9% The manager is amazing; she gave me her own mobile number for direct contact. As I said, 99.9% of carers are great! Just one is so unprofessional but had a word with the manager, and the problem will hopefully be solved.
Very caring and helpful staff that made the admission into the home less painful. Very happy, clean and bright environment. Had some lovely visits. Would highly recommend this home for anybody looking for a family member.
Homely atmosphere, caring staff and welcomed visits. Relative loved being here. So nice to see her happy.
Everything seems excellent. I haven't given a mark for food and drink because I haven't seen any, but I'm sure it's excellent. My mother seems happy here.
The staff at St Martin's have been more than accommodating to my father and his needs. They have also been wonderful at setting my mind at rest, particularly when he first arrived. Due to Covid restrictions, I have been unable to see his room myself, but my father speaks highly of the facilities.
I happy with the care my husband is getting and satisfied with the Covid rules were and still are in operation.
The experience has been very positive every time I speak with my mum. She seems very happy and expresses that she is being well looked after. Also, the person who does the bookings has been very kind and professional.
This review doesn’t just relate to November 2020 - it includes the entire time my mother has been resident there - since July 2019. To say the staff there have been brilliant would be a huge understatement and would do the staff a huge disservice. They’re all wonderful. Every question has been replied to, and every request has been met. Most recently, the staff have been immensely accommodating, helpful and understanding. They’ve kept me updated with all procedures instigated by head office - before I’ve had any correspondence. The lady conducting the COVID tests to enable visits to residents has been outstanding. That said, all the staff there have gone above and beyond to help me and Mum. I can’t sing their praises enough - they’re all brilliant. I don’t know what else I can say - if your loved one needs professional care and nursing, St Martin’s Court [nursing care] and the Lodge [residential care] should be at the top of your list for a placement.
