View Full Details of Cherry Tree Care HomeThe care home staff have delivered excellent care in adapting to my mother's medical needs. She benefits from 24/7 nursing care and has had a GP visit every week. Her health is monitored and there is excellent communication between staff and family. The carers are kind, thorough and hard-working. I just wish there were more of them, as they never stop! They are amazing! They are an example of the best of humanity. The kitchen provides nutritious food with home made sauces and soups. The home is clean and laundry is wonderful. These staff also add another layer of care by giving company and familiarity.
The carers are kind and lovely. They keep me clean and I love my shower and hairwash. They work so hard. They know me and what I like. The nurses check on me and I have a GP visit me in my room. I feel safe. The food is good and they cook my favourite, scampi, for me. I love the coffee machine. I love the cleaners too. They keep my room spotless, but are also my friends. All the staff are kind. Thank you.
My mother spent the last years of her life at Cherry Tree Care Home from April 2022, until the end of December 2024. She surprised her family by not only fitting into life at Cherry Tree, but being positive and enjoying the company, care and activities. Mum was extremely well looked after and as her needs increased, so the care seamlessly did the same. Staff were with mum at her passing and we cannot thank them enough for their empathetic care. Cherry Tree became a big part of our lives, and with loosing mum, we've also lost our Cherry Tree family. Thank you all so very much for everything.
Marvellous! It's wonderful here, everyone is so kind and friendly, they can't do enough for me. The food here is excellent too. You can't fault it.
Very welcoming staff, my mum has settled in very well to her new environment and everyone has been very accommodating.
Since my uncle came to Cherry Tree and subsequently my aunt, his sister, I must praise the care, attention and cleanliness of this home. The staff are excellent, professional, and very approachable. All needs are catered for and the staff go above and beyond with their care for the residents. Sadly my uncle has passed now but he died happy. My aunt his sister has now settled well.
All of the staff are very friendly and soon were calling me by my Christian name. Being one of the males, made settling a bit difficult. The menu of meals very good.
During hot weather sitting in the lovely garden is a treat. The staff even serve afternoon tea while we sit outside.
Cherry Tree is always well-presented and welcoming. It gives a very good service.
My aunt has been in Cherry Tree for the last 4 years and the care she gets is exemplary. Such kindness and attention she receives is first class.
My mum has been at Cherry Tree for two months from the first visit we knew that this would be the place for Mum. I cannot express enough the kindness and care that everyone has shown not only to my mum but also to me. I know Mum is safe and happy and she has made some lovely friends with the other residents and the care team. I would like to thank them all for looking after my mum and improving her quality of life.
My cousin has been in the facility for a number of years. The care she has received has always been exemplary. The interactions with myself and family members have been very supportive on occasions when there have been medical issues and difficulties regarding the resident's behaviour. They have aided us with information regarding getting grants for the resident, plus help with other elderly family members. It is more a home not a facility.
Cherry Tree is an excellent care home, with wonderful, dedicated staff who have made my mother-in-law feel welcome and looked after. The building itself is comfortable and clean, and there is a lovely garden available for residents and visitors. Management are approachable and responsive if there's anything we need to discuss, and overall we've been very happy with the home.
The service provided is always good in all aspects, the staff are always polite and helpful and protect the dignity of the residents. The food provided is very good and always comes with menu choices.
There is always a warm welcome awaiting when visiting Cherry Tree. The residents all look well cared for, and the staff are generally all on hand to assist if anyone needs it. The facilities are very good for the residents with entertainment going into the home on a regular basis.
It’s now Mum’s 4th month at Cherry Tree. We’re on a long path which we'll get through because we have the support of the entire Cherry Tree team. The carers, nurses and management have taken so much time to get to know Mum and her quirks to make Mum more comfortable and happy. The care is excellent – when doctors are needed, the local GP is very responsive; The meals are tasty and varied (fab roast dinners and daily afternoon teas for visitors to share too!); There are weekly activities. Mum’s enjoying film days. She loves having her hair done. She’s had a chiropody appointment too. Bingo is next. When we’ve needed extra help with external dental and hospital visits – this has been offered. Most of all, the Cherry Tree team care – they go the extra mile to make sure every concern – Mum’s or ours – is addressed. Cherry Tree is a family not "just" a nursing home. We know that Mum is in safe hands and she's in the best place.
Mum has been at Hallmark Cherry Tree for a year now. Staff went out of their way to make her feel at home, as it was a challenging time and she'd never experienced anything other than her own home and independence. Food and activities are very good. Staff are approachable and helpful. Though at times they are short of staff. When Mum was poorly and also after a fall, outside of Cherry Tree, staff ensured the GP came out to check on her and she had medication as required.
I have found all the staff to be kind and considerate which means a lot as I was caring for my mother and you feel no one can look after her as well as her family. The activities program means so much to my mum as she was a very active person until her stroke. She loved water and was a good swimmer so a deep soak in a big bath she would love. Food is also important and the majority of the choice she enjoys.
All the staff are helpful and caring. Activities are well thought-out for residents to join in. Always made welcome when visiting.
I am always greeted in a very friendly way by staff and management. Management are always happy to help with any enquiries. The staff and entertainment team are caring and supportive to the residents, encouraging them to take part in organised activities and happy to help them when asked.
