View Full Details of Millheath Nursing HomeMy mum went into Millheath after I had to take her out of another home as it was so bad it should be closed down, so we were worried. But from day one, I knew Mum would be happy here and all of us, as a family would be happy. The welcome from all the staff was outstanding and continued until sadly mums last day, they were loving caring kind and much more to Mum. Mum loved them all. What a change in her, and we as a family, can't thank them enough. Wonderful home staff and food.
My mum-in-law entered Millheath almost two years ago and sadly passed away on the 30th of August 2018. During the time she was there my wife and I always found the staff to be so caring and understanding, as in the latter months she did prove to be difficult due to ill health. As she became unable to care for herself the staff made sure she was always well dressed and groomed, something my wife was so pleased about. Upon Mum's passing, on arrival at the home, my wife was treated with such kindness and consideration that I for one was so grateful for the empathy shown her. Thanking them seems inadequate for all the care they gave my mum-in-law but it's meant from the heart.
I would like to give credit where credit is due. Having to find a home for a loved one is one of the most daunting experiences ever. My experience from day 1 at Millheath until my mother's passing away, was incredible. The warmth and caring nature of all the staff was commendable. My mother was treated with dignity and respect by all, her wishes were listened to and satisfied. The facilities were clean, the staff always jovial even under pressure. The surroundings serene, with the beautiful garden area and patio. Dietary needs were catered for and activities were laid on throughout the day and in the evenings - thoroughly enjoyable to experience! It was so reassuring to know my mother was in such good hands, in her home away from home and was happy. I have nothing to fault and would highly recommend this home to anyone.
