After having to make the decision for my mum to go into a nursing home, Pentwyn Nursing home has worked with us as a whole family, taking all our worries on board and reassuring us step by step, with monthly emails and updates of how my mum is when we are not there, which enables us to not stress and know that our mum is truly cared for, wonderful, staff and they all go out of their way to make sure all our mum's needs are catered for, thank you to two members of staff in particular for making the transition of my mum coming to the nursing home within 2 days hospital notice stress free for us as a family as we didn't have a clue where to start, mum has been here since December and happily calls it home

One member of staff has been incredible from my first call enquiring. Another staff member equally so since my first visit. Collectively the home is exceptional. Their paperwork, attention to detail, care & compassion, efficiency and competence is unmatched. I have no doubts that there is no where better for my Mum to be with her complex needs. This is the best nursing home I've ever been inside or been involved with. Multiple paramedics and doctors who have visited my mum when needed have all commented the same. They've never seen notes like them, care like it, competence like it. This home is exceptional.

Mum has only been at Pentwyn for a short period of time, however, from the very first conversation my wife and I had with the management team, we knew that Mum was going to receive a high level of care and support from them. Upon entering its' doors, Mum and the family received the warmest and sincerest of welcomes. The atmosphere inside is bright, very clean, positive and fun! The staffing team, without exception, deliver the highest level of care to the residents and there is always an activity taking place. Our initial concerns about Mum going into a care home have been more than alleviated and Mum is very happy, safe and extremely comfortable. As a family, we now know that she could not receive better care anywhere else. Pentwyn Nursing Home is run by a very experienced and dedicated management team and this is evident as the staff are hard working and very happy in their roles and they have far exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Pentwyn House.

Since my mother-in-law moved into Pentwyn House Nursing Home she has absolutely thrived. The care team are amazing. They made her feel very welcome and she's settled in lovely. There's always activities going on. It was a very difficult decision to put her into a care home but the fact that she's so happy is a testament in itself. We couldn't have picked a better care home for her.

From the day mum moved in, she received first class care and attention by all the members of staff. In the 5 weeks that she was being cared for, my sister and I were kept updated and involved in every decision. Our mother's death was handled with treat sensitivity and compassion. We could not have wished for a better experience from a Care Home.

Pentwyn House is a first-class nursing home which I would highly recommend! The level of care is outstanding where all the staff members and management treat all residents as if they are part of their own family. You will always have a very warm welcome from everyone and if there are any concerns you have, your mind is always put to rest straight away. The food is of excellent quality with lots of choice. The whole nursing home is kept immaculate with clean bedding every single day. My Nan is always kept spotless. Activities and entertainment every day which are outstanding, especially the zoo day where all residents take part in holding the animals. Family pets are always welcome too. You will have no concerns at all leaving your loved ones here, it's excellent.

The thing that stands out is the level of care, love and dignity shown to my mum. The staff seem happy and are always welcoming. We have a high level of trust in the management and staff.

Pentwyn House Nursing Home is so much more than a care home, it's a home that cares, my father had been cared for at home previously. The family at Pentwyn took him into their care and became an extension of our family, they treated Dad with love and respect. this was evident from the top down 24/7. He was stimulated, never patronised, I can not speak highly enough.

My mother has been a resident at Pentwyn House for a few months and has settled in well. The staff are caring and compassionate and always attentive to her needs. All the staff are welcoming and always smiling and this has a positive effect on all the residents. The Management Team have been so supportive to us as a family in what has been a difficult time and continue to help us when we need it. The home is always spotless and welcoming.

Facing up to the fact that your dad has to go into a care home is one of the most awful things I have ever had to do but the staff at Pentwyn House have been absolutely amazing. His treatment is first class and he has settled in and loves it there, it has been such a relief to know he is being so well taken care of and he even joins in some of the activities which Is something I never thought he would do. There isn't anything that is too much trouble for the staff. I would highly recommend.

Lovely staff - so lovely to my mum. The home is always clean, as are the residents. There is entertainment every day, and the residents are really happy. Management is very professional. Staff go above and beyond to ensure all residents are included.

Since Dad's been at Pentwyn, he seems happy and is regaining the weight he'd lost while in hospital. Dad seems to get on well with staff and most residents. it was terrible to have to make the choice to find a care home for Dad (he never wanted that) but we have been relieved with the way Pentwyn has worked out so far.

I find the home very clean, staff are amazing, always laughing and dressing up, it's a very friendly home. if there was a problem I can go to them, they're easy to talk to I recommend this home to everyone, can't fault it, since my brother has been there I have found he's happy and that makes me happy.

Mum moved into the nursing home in April 2022 and has always said that she is happy and well cared for. She often says how nice the staff are and enjoys the food. She participates in lots of activities organised by the staff. She does mention it can be noisy at night but perhaps this is just the staff clocking in on her. From my own perspective, I am very happy with the home and especially the staff who are so friendly. I would not want mum moved elsewhere.

Excellent care was given. All staff go above and beyond making my mother-in-law very welcome and helping to settle in. Management always kept us updated on how my mother-in-law was settling in.

My mother has been a resident at Pentwyn for more than 2 years. The level of care she receives is outstanding. All of the staff are so friendly and accommodating with mum's needs. She is always treated with utmost respect and dignity. The communication from the home is excellent I am kept well informed if there are any changes regarding mum. I am comfortable in the knowledge that mum is in safe hands.

Dad moved into Pentwyn after a six-week stay in the hospital. As a family we were nervous but after one visit any fears were totally alleviated as the managers and team excelled in every facet of elderly care and family liaison. Caring, empathetic, professional and a total feeling of safety and comfort was provided for my father. We as a family were greatly comforted by the staff of Pentwyn and we recommend Pentwyn to anyone.

My auntie resides in Pentwyn House. I honestly could not wish for a better environment for her. She is well looked after by everyone, a particular staff member and the team are exceptional at their jobs. I sleep at night knowing she is cared and loved for. It is always spotless and never any rubbish anywhere. A well-kept ship as my auntie used to say. Thanks to all staff.

I would highly recommend Pentwyn House to anyone I know from our experience so far with our mother. The management and staff are excellent at their jobs and are very friendly, caring and professional in all they do. Any issues are dealt with straight away where possible. Mum appears happy most of the time (her illness sometimes means she's not) and is always clean and her clothes and room are kept spotless as is the rest of the home. Activities are good and her overall care is excellent! 100% recommend it!

Pentwyn House is a first-class nursing home which I would highly recommend! Lovely staff - so lovely to my mum. The home is always clean, as are the residents. There is entertainment every day, and the residents are really happy. Management is very professional. Staff go above and beyond to ensure all residents are included.

I find the home very clean, staff are amazing, always laughing and dressing up, it's a very friendly home. if there was a problem I can go to them, they're easy to talk to I recommend this home to everyone, can't fault it, since my brother has been there I have found he's happy and that makes me happy.

Mum moved into the nursing home in April 2022 and has always said that she is happy and well cared for. She often says how nice the staff are and enjoys the food.
