My mother was a resident at the Rhallt from September 2022 until October 2024. This was a difficult time in her life due to progressive dementia and an increasing inability to care for herself. In the final year of her life, she was totally dependent upon her carers for all her needs. Mum rotated through a few wards/areas within the home but spent her final year in the nursing unit in the upstairs part of the main building. My comment is that the staff were exceptional. It is immensely difficult to care for older people who cannot communicate, are physically frail and are totally reliant on others. In all my interactions with the nursing staff, carers, cleaners, caterers and everyone else who helped my mother in her final years I was struck by their kindness, professionalism and ability to remain cheerful and positive. The home is excellent and the staff is exceptional. I have no hesitation in recommending this care home.

The Rhallt has really taken care of my nan. She is happy on her unit, and some days she recognises me more than what she previously did. All the staff are friendly and helpful. They all try to ensure any requests made are done. Nan always looks respectable and well-dressed, which she used to do herself, so it's nice to see her being able to still do. Activities always offer for her to join with the things she loved doing before coming here. Overall, very lovely home.

Excellent home and great care staff, I know I'd made the right choice of care home when I visited. Under new management, the general manager is very supportive and always on hand. Thank you for all you do. Beautiful home!

This is the best car home. The carers are incredible with Mum, food is excellent, rooms are excellent and the facilities are excellent. The staff can't do enough here.

My mother has been admitted to the Rhallt Care Home my relief is immense. Everyone from management to care and support staff are incredible. The home is clean and the room is bright and airy. The atmosphere in the home is happy, calm and professional. Even though we never wanted her to go into a home. The Rhallt has exceeded expectations and is indeed a very special place.

Our beloved grandmother has entered The Rhallt Care Home in her 99th year. She has settled in so well, thanks to the diligence and care shown to her by staff and the seamless admission process which management guided us through. The home is cosy, clean and comfortable. Even when many of her extensive family have questions, staff patiently talk us through every step and when many visitors are present, we are still made to feel welcome. What was a very difficult decision to utilise a care home has been eased by the kindness shown to us, as a family, and I would recommend The Rhallt to anyone in our difficult situation. I particularly appreciate the fact that we have been encouraged to personalise her room, this has brought my grandmother a greater degree of comfort.

My grandmother came to the home from hospital needing nursing care. As a family, we could not be more pleased with what The Rhallt Care Home had to offer. The move-in was seamless and extremely efficient. We were greeted with a friendly staff team who really made my grandmother, who is anxious, feel immediately at ease with their caring and empathetic approach. The presentation of the home and cleanliness really stood out and put our minds at ease as this is her first time in a residential home. Communication with the home and management has been fantastic and we can't thank them enough for their help and support. I can't speak highly enough of the professionalism shown and would not hesitate in recommending the home to others and working in the care industry myself, as an auditor, this is the highest praise I can bestow.

As a family we were a bit dubious about my mum going into a nursing home, however we have found it a fantastic experience especially for my mum. For the first time in years she is up out of bed in 'day clothes,' which she hasn't worn in years, had her hair done and interacting with staff and other residents. It has been so nice to see this and probably life-changing for my mum. The staff have been so helpful and informative. Many thanks to everyone.

Two weeks respite care. Too tall for the bed, feet resting on the footboard. Blue corridor, dreadful squeaky banging doors no one to oil them. I had respite here some two years ago but to my mind standards have slipped. In a lighter vein food was excellent along with the work of several carers who were excellent. It's a great shame that I can't name names.

I am very happy to see that my husband has settled so well into The Rhallt Care Home. The staff are always kind and considerate. The atmosphere is relaxed and calm. My husband is clean and cared for. All his needs are met, they pay particular attention to ensuring that he has plenty to drink which is very important as he has a catheter. The home gives me peace of mind. Thank you and well done.

My aunt has been in The Rhallt Care Home for the past four years and has recently died. Throughout that time, I feel that she received the best care possible. Given that her body and her mind were increasingly breaking down, she was given the best quality of life possible. I have worked in care homes myself in the past and I am very impressed with the care in The Rhallt Care Home and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

What can I say? Absolutely top marks in every way. Every single person from management, nurses and carers were absolutely brilliant. Cannot fault them. Staff became friends and they were there if I needed anything. 10/10. Keep up the good work!
