View Full Details of Lennel House Homes Care CentreLennel House is a very friendly home with a caring atmosphere. Any information needed is explained and given to you. Staff are always willing and helpful. I assist with the activities in the home and see a vast improvement in the home. The meals are always appetising and nutritious for the residents.
My wife and I have been married 57 years so it came as quite a shock when 2 years ago she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I did my best to look after her at home but it became too much for me, so I had to make the decision for her to go into a care home at Lennel. Over 2 years have passed now and I have no regrets taking this big step. The manager and staff are all so nice and helpful it makes me so happy that Lennel certainly delivers. Well done St Philips, I know she is in good hands.
What a beautiful home with excellent facilities and staff. Staff are so kind and compassionate. The home has been under some renovations recently as is looking better than ever! The staff always seem happy and are always helpful whenever I need them.
Visited a friend at Lennel House Homes Care Centre recently who I hadn't seen in a while as I live out of the area. I was just so delighted to see a big improvement across the board! Particularly just to see such happy and relaxed residents and staff who genuinely seem to love their job! The home has come under new management and makes a big difference... feels such a lovely home from home with beautiful decor in the rooms and around the shared areas. Had such a positive visit and comforted to know my friend is being taken such good care of.
95% staff very good, just not enough staff. Good staff left frustrated as would do more for residents. Too quick to leave mum in bed all day with no medical reason, simple rewording of question would encourage her up and about. Better dementia training required. Sad to see residents 'parked' in tv lounge, again staffing levels not adequate, no stimulation at all. Family left frustrated by empty promises. Never been asked for personal history of mum resulting in no idea of her likes/dislikes, family or past job held etc. daily visit required to make sure primary needs are met.
