Our experience with Canmore Lodge has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment my mother moved in, it was clear that the staff genuinely cared about her well-being. They were kind, compassionate, and always went above and beyond to ensure she felt comfortable, safe, and respected. The environment was warm and welcoming, making it easier for our family to trust that she was in good hands. The caregivers were attentive to her needs and were proactive in keeping us updated on her health and any changes. It was evident that they treated her like family, and for that, we are incredibly grateful. The activities offered were also wonderful, providing both physical and mental stimulation that greatly enhanced her quality of life. We cannot thank the team at Canmore Lodge enough for the love and care they provided to my mother during her time there. It was truly a place where she felt cared for, valued, and at home.

Could not think of a better place for my husband to spend his last few months. The care, compassion and 'can-do' attitude of the entire staff is unbelievable. We are grateful for the kitchen staff, cleaning staff and all the nursing staff.

On entering Barchester Canmore Lodge Care Home, the first thing you see is the smiling face of reception, the care, love and attention that was given to my mother was second to none. The pressure that was taken off my family was immense. From the nurses to the laundry lady, I can't thank you all enough.

I visit Barchester Canmore Lodge Care Home with my dog twice a week. The staff are brilliant with me. My wife was in Canmore but passed away in January. The support I received and the care my wife had was excellent. I look forward to my visits to the home, the staff always have time for us.

The most important item for myself and my family is knowing my wife is well cared for which takes the pressure off us. The staff are all very caring, well mannered and friendly. They go the extra mile and always cheerfully to me. We have built up a very nice relationship with all the staff, from management to the nurses. Long may it continue.

Barchester Canmore Lodge Care Home has looked after my aunt these last seven years until her passing earlier this year. The physical care was exceptional as my aunt was always clean, kempt, neatly dressed and smart-looking. But, more than this, she was lovingly cared for emotionally. My aunt looked up to the nurses and carers with smiling eyes and likewise, the staff spoke with her kindly and lovingly. The 'family' atmosphere there is tangible. When any health problem arose, Canmore Lodge acted quickly and professionally.

Mum has had the very best of care from everyone in Barchester Canmore Lodge Care Home. She has been extremely well cared for and everyone has been so kind to her. Nothing is ever any bother and not only has Mum felt well cared for, we, as a family, have also felt that way too.

The staff were excellent and looked after our friend better than most. Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending care in Barchester Homes. This is definitely one of the best. Friendly, caring staff and excellent facilities. 10/10. Well done.

The staff treated our/my friend with the utmost respect and courtesy. In short, the care and attention accorded my friend was beyond expectation. I always left the home in higher spirits than when I entered.

I cannot praise Canmore Lodge highly enough. From the domestics to the manager, all have been extremely helpful. I only wish I could name names! Canmore maintained her dignity right to the end of life. Many, many thanks. That doesn't portray the praise I have for Canmore.

My aunt stayed in Canmore Lodge for the last eighteen months. The care she has received has been of the highest standard. She has been visited several times every week by family members who are all adamant that she could not have been better cared for anywhere. The atmosphere in the home is fantastic, the meals etc. are of a very high standard too. Thank you to all the staff and relatives of other residents who echo the thoughts I have expressed.

All staff were very kind and caring whilst looking after our Mum. They provided excellent care. Patient-centered and thoughtful at end of life. They also were very kind, looking after us, the family and couldn't have done more.

Our mum has been in Canmore Lodge for approx nine months, and our dad for one month prior to him passing away. Both our mum and dad were/are very well looked after, well cared for and provided with respect and dignity, which is exactly what we wanted. The staff are lovely, every one of them is excellent, and it's so good to see our mum finally settled in such a lovely, caring place.

My partner was very well looked after throughout his time at Canmore Lodge. When I visited I was made most welcome. Very caring and pleasant staff. End-of-life care was brilliant for my partner and for me. I would highly recommend Camore Lodge.
