View Full Details of Angusfield House Care HomeAll staff very friendly always a warm welcome when we come in. I have got to know most of the patients in the care home always cheery wave to them all. My sister has adapted well in this home.
I have always been impressed with the level of care afforded to my dad. He has been in the care of Angusfield House for two years. Dad is cared for by a fantastic team. As a family, we have been regularly consulted at all times when appropriate. I think that the small number of residents means that a family feel is maintained. Family members are always welcome.
After joining the care home's social media page and being able to see what they do for the residents is over and above when we are at work and unable to visit. Seeing the happiness on the residents' faces in the photos and how the carers engage to make it fun for them. My mother-in-law was a very poor eater due to having issues with her teeth but Angusfield has encouraged her in every way possible giving her soups that she loves and pureeing things she would find difficult to eat. She is always smartly dressed and very clean and tidy every time we go in. We always get lots of cuddles and smiles which shows how happy and content she is as she is unable to communicate properly with her Dementia. All staff are very welcoming and do their very best for the residents. We have seen the way they have welcomed new residents recently being very reassuring to them as they settle into a new environment. I am glad my Mother-in-law is so settled and loves the carers having fun with her.
Grandma has only recently been moved (8 weeks) here and the improvement has been very noticeable and she seems a lot happier than previously.
My mum has been in Angusfield for 5 years. We have found the manager and his staff to be very helpful. Staff are friendly, would highly recommend.
Mum seems to be quite settled. Staff are lovely and friendly. Her room is always tidy and clean.
My husband receives excellent care and his key workers always go the extra mile for both of us. All of the staff members are very approachable and make myself and our family feel very welcome when we visit.
Angusfield is an excellent home. All the staff here are excellent. Both my brother and his wife are in this home and they really do their best for them both to be together although they are in separate units. Myself and their family are extremely happy with how they are cared for. Thank you staff at Angusfield Care Home.
Delighted with the care my husband receives in Angusfield. Excellent support for my husband and myself through difficult times. Excellent management.
On 2nd September the resident had a nasty fall. The care provided by Angusfield House Care Home in these accidental circumstances was excellent. The resident was examined and a decision was made for him to go to hospital. The home manager called me straight away to let me know and then called the resident's wife and niece. He kept me informed throughout the day, despite having other duties. One member of staff went to hospital and sat for five hours in an ambulance with the resident. The manager also arranged for a taxi to collect the resident which avoided a long wait for an ambulance. Very impressed and grateful for the care provided. Very relieved as I'm so far away.
My mum has always had the best of care from the most lovely and caring staff that you could wish for. They make a world of difference. It is always difficult to leave when visiting, but I know she is at home and is not treated as a resident, but as family.
My husband's care while in Angusfield has been exemplary. From the top down, all staff have shown compassion and empathy towards my husband, ensuring dignity and respect from every level. His family and I will always be grateful for the support given to us all and for putting my husband's comfort and welfare above all else.
We can't praise the management and staff highly enough, especially this past week with our mum being ill. They have gone above and beyond to help and support, not only my mum but also us as a family.
Resident is well cared for. Staff are excellent. Staff are receptive to any suggestions/comments. Very pleased with everything so far.
We are extremely happy with the care and attention of our aunt whilst she resides in Angusfield. The staff members both medical and care are very approachable and follow through treatments and attend to any concerns.
My wife has been at Angusfield House Care Home for over a year now and her treatment has been first class in all respects.
Happy with the care Dad receives. He enjoys the attention he receives from the staff and the fun he has with them.
My husband seems content, but very difficult to give an honest opinion of how he feels due to his condition.
Generally very happy with the staff, and one member of staff in particular - she seems to work with my dad very well and often makes him laugh. Might be an idea to have a family review meeting once every 3/6 months as sometimes feel not sure how he is generally.
I have been very impressed with the care provided for my father. Staff always attentive and really seem dedicated to their roles. His room is always tidy when I visit and they have done well with his personal care which has been a challenge over the past years.
