When my mother went to the care home, wasn't sure how the move would go, but the care home management and staff got my mother settled in ok and have been doing a good job the last 3 years. They take all the pressure off of us and know that they will be on top of any changes and always let me know about anything.
Lovely staff always welcome and helpful. Mum's always taking care of and good communication of mum's care, good care given by staff and mum's room always clean and tidy, keep up to date with any changes. Family are all happy with mum's care.
My dad has been in Crimond for just short of 4 years, the staff have been excellent in caring for him. I have peace of mind in him being there being well looked after. Staff very approachable always friendly and caring and won't hesitate to phone me if there's anything. Would highly recommend to anyone that was looking or need care for a relative.
Crimond House has been a wonderful place for my mum to stay. Mum says she feels safe, she says the staff are brilliant and the food is good. Mum is always clean and happy when we visit. The accommodation is warm and clean. Mum's washing gets collected in the morning and is back ready to go I her wardrobe by lunch time usually.
The staff in the area I visit every week are very attentive to the residents. Rooms are always very clean and bright. The meals always look lovely. We always get offered a cup of tea. The home is lovely and warm and the residents are very happy.
My relative is happy and settled at the care home, although I do have some concerns over minor issues which I will discuss with the care home staff on my next visit. She is cared for well, enjoys the food and the home is clean and tidy.
The home itself looks lovely, but there is a general bad smell of urine in certain areas. Also there seems to be a lack of wheelchairs as my granny always seems to have to borrow someone else's. Shouldn't everyone who needs one have one? Staff very friendly. Some of the food isn't always edible... particularly the porridge. A lot of staffing changes, which can be unsettling for my granny I feel. Seems to be a lack of trips out of the home. Once she got offered a trip out but she wasn't able to get on the bus so wasn't able to go, which I feel is unfair. So she just had to be wheeled back to her room. Are suitable vehicles with disability access not available to the home for use? However, in general my granny is quite happy, which is my main concern.
A professional care environment. The staff are always friendly and available to answer questions regarding my father's care. They support my mother on her visits to her husband. My father appears to be content and always has a good and cheerful interaction with the staff. The staff try to ensure that the residents are engaged and not left to their own devices, unless that is specifically their wish.
Very good service, my brother is very happy there, he is looked after very well, he is nice and clean and tidy, he is very happy there, the staff is very helpful, the place is spotless, if I have any questions they deal with it promptly.
My folks are well looked after, staff always inform me if there is a problem, or just to give me an update on how they are doing. Staff are very approachable. The food they get is good and they enjoy it. Not sure about the entertainment, but I know that they enjoy it.
The staff at Crimond House take care to treat each resident as an individual and to ensure that their needs and wants are provided for. Residents are encouraged to interact and to be as active as they are able to be.
My Mum has dementia and has been in Crimond House since September. She has settled in really well and it's reassuring to see her safe, happy and well looked after. The team at Crimond House are very professional, and I can see that Mum is receiving the level of care that she needs. Mum's room is always spotless and her laundry is taken care of daily and returned promptly. Thank you to all of the staff, in particular - the managers and of course the man from maintenance.
My dad receives excellent care here. He is very happy living here. Staff really go above and beyond to make sure he is well looked after. I viewed several homes before this one, and I am so glad he got a place at Crimond House, as it is by far the best.
Myself and my family are happy that Mum has settled in so well, we are very assured that Mum is getting the care and help that she needs and requires. She has come a long way since moving into the home and we all notice a big difference in her and how she is when we visit. All carers are very nice and helpful, her room is always clean and tidy also.
Since lockdown my sister has been chairbound, having spoken to management, she is supposed to have a table in front of her with a sweetie or a snack and a drink. On most occasions, this has not happened and her drink is beside her TV, which she cannot possibly get to. At one point, she had no hand buzzer but was supposed to use a floor-operated buzzer which she cannot operate.
My husband has been in Crimond House Care Home for just over a year and I must say he has been cared for by a friendly, helpful and professional team at all times. Even during the hard times of the Covid pandemic, they went out of their way to make life bearable for my husband and myself. With a requirement for full-time care, I have seen my husband respond to the friendly environment and return to the mn I have known for sixty-four-plus years. Thank you to all the staff who are assisting us in this stage of our life.
I found it very difficult during Covid to visit Mum but now we've been allowed in things have been fine. Mum's always clean, well-fed, though she lacks interaction with other residents, her choice, but I wonder if she could be persuaded to go through to the dining room for meals even just once a day.
Very happy with everything. A lovely place, staff are very pleasant and helpful. Couldn't wish for any better.
Happy with the care my husband gets. Staff are excellent.
Everyone at Crimond House has helped keep my uncle safer and well, for this, I am very grateful. Over the last 12-months, it has been very difficult for my uncle to stay in his room with no visitors, and although I see reasons why, I feel the impact on his and everyone else's mental health has been very concerning.
