We have an ongoing issue with laundry. Wrong clothes put in room - clothes not put away properly. The condition of the window frames in the lounge and bedrooms is shocking. Window frames need to be replaced urgently. Also, residents' en-suite bathrooms are freezing - heating needs addressing.

My Mum went into the Mavisbank Care Home on the 5th of August this year 2024. I am so happy for her knowing she is safe and well looked after, she seems very happy and settled. It's always a worry hoping she would settle but I can see a difference in her already - she participates in the activities and joins in. All the staff in Mavisbank are so nice, friendly, and chatty, I can now sleep at knight knowing my Mum is safe.

Pleased with the care my mum receives. Management and staff are approachable. Any issues I have raised have been dealt with. Nice atmosphere for residents.

The staff have been very caring with my 98 year old very frail mum. I no longer feel I have to worry about her constantly as she is being well looked after.

My mother has been in the home for 18 months. This is her second care home, as her previous one had offered a poor standard. Mavisbank is totally different. The staff are very attentive and caring. They are a shining beacon in the care home community.

I think the staff are professional, caring and considerate. They always treat my mother with kindness and understanding. Nothing is too much for them. Over the past year, I have got to know the staff, from management, receptionist, nurses, carers, cleaners and kitchen staff and they always treat my mother and her visitors with kindness.

Lovely location. The staff greet you at the door. No complaints at all about the interior of the home - spotless. Patients are well looked after, always lovely dressed and happy. We love our visits with our friend. The staff are so good and make us very welcome.

Mavisbank continues to deliver high-quality levels of care for my mum. The home is spotlessly clean, all the staff are friendly and the carers and nurses take good care of all the residents. Management are highly visible and always happy to have a chat/give advice or update what's going on in the home.

My two sisters came to Mavisbank in 2022. Unfortunately one of them passed away in December last year. The care and attention she received from all members of staff were excellent and we also received great help throughout the period. Mavisbank is an excellent care home and my nephew has also advised a few people of the home and whose relatives are now residents here. I also would have no hesitation in recommending it.

My observations on visiting my sister. 1. On entering staff very pleasant and welcoming, including manager and reception. 2, My sister always out of bed and usually in day area, that is important to me. 3. Day area, staff always engaging with occupants. 4. Rooms always clean and tidy. Very happy with Mavisbank Care Home. Thanks, Peter Young

Mavisbank Care Home and all the staff continue to provide my Mum with excellent care. As her next of kin, I am kept fully informed about my Mum's care and well-being. My Mum enjoys the food provided and is eating much better than before she moved to Mavisbank. This is reflected in her appearance and improved health. A huge thank you to all the staff for the excellent and personal service you provide to my Mum.

I cannot thank the staff at Mavisbank enough for the care and the love they all give my mum and also the regular support they give to my dad and myself. Today my mum and dad celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary, and the staff were absolutely amazing, making sure it was so special for them - what a team, they truly are the best.

From the very beginning, the staff have taken very good care of my husband. The staff are caring and extremely friendly. Also, a large number of staff about to help residents. The home seems to be very well run. Don't think we could have found a better team to look after my husband.

My husband hasn't been in Mavisbank for very long, but in my opinion, you will never get as good as your own home, but Maviscourt certainly comes a close second.

Warm welcome in Mavisbank. Staff are all very nice and very obliging if anything need to know. Can see how they are with all the residents, so makes me feel good when leaving to know they are being very well looked after. Would and have recommended Mavisbank.

The staff at the home are very welcoming and very friendly. They are very attentive to the residents. It's a relaxing atmosphere, which reflects that the residents are happy. There's always a friendly face.

I’ve been really impressed with everything about Mavisbank, from the facilities to all the staff, who have gone above and beyond, and our family will be forever grateful for everything that was done for my gran.

On arriving at Mavisbank, you get a positive feeling of it being a friendly and home atmosphere, Mum settled in quickly despite us having concerns that she wouldn't. This was in no small part due to the staff making her feel welcome and part of the Mavisbank 'family'. When a parent needs more care than you can give, it's difficult to decide where is the best place for them. I'm really happy with the decision to choose Mavisbank!

Our mum has been a resident for 6 months, in that time she has settled in and is happy, given her deteriorating condition. We are very happy with her care as given by all members of staff. The whole team have been very kind to Mum and care for her in a kind, compassionate manner. We are happy overall and find management to be very approachable and attentive to any concerns that my arise.

The home continues to excel and the level of care my mum is receiving at Mavisbank Care Home is exceptional. The managers, carers, nurses, and nightshift workers go above and beyond every day for the residents. My mum recently went for Christmas lunch at the local high school where she used to work. My mum was over the moon and I'm so grateful the home organised this for her. Also, the month of December has been fantastic with all the decorations and activity plans, it's been magical and every day my mum is content and happy! Thank you Mavisbank!
