View Full Details of Clyde Court Care HomeSadly my brother passed away at this home today. Whilst sadness is my overwhelming emotion, I am comforted by the fact that he passed away in the presence of such caring staff who, whenever I visited, could not have shown more attention and respect for him. These professionals made his last few months of life so much more bearable, and I cannot thank them enough for what they did for him and the rest of the family to make him, and us, feel that he was in good hands. Enough, on this sad day, but thank you so much for your care and dedication.
The care home is lovely and clean. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I observed them with other people who stay there and they were very patient and caring towards them. My brother looks better now than he has in years. He will admit himself, he is not the easiest person to be around. We, as a family, appreciate everything the staff do for him.
My relative has been in Clyde Court Care Home for several months. Overall, we are very satisfied. It is being redecorated at the moment, with little disruption to the residents. It always appears clean, and the choice of food is very good. The staff are all very pleasant and hard working. Really, no complaints.
My brother has been in Clyde Court Care Home since March 2023. My brother is very happy in Clyde Court and the staff are very good with him. My other brother came up from Southampton and was there for an early morning visit, he was very happy with the atmosphere and complimented the management on the attitude and hard work of the staff. I can't comment on the value for money as I don't know the cost.
I have nothing but praise for the caring staff, ancillary staff and management who do an amazing job looking after my mother so well. They really go the extra mile to ensure our loved ones get the attention and care they deserve. When I regularly visit my mum, I am impressed at how clean, bright and tidy the rooms and corridors are. All the staff, with a particular mention to the excellent activities team, are so helpful and cheery and you can see how dedicated they are. The care staff are so warm and friendly and can't do enough to make sure my mum is warm, comfortable and content.
The cleanliness in this care home is a disgrace, especially shower drains and toilets. New clothes going missing despite names being sewn in them. My sister has had numerous falls, resulting in her being hospitalised and needing a hip operation. She has been head-butted by another patient, men entering her room due to lack of observation by staff, as for stimulation (non-existent). This care home needs a thorough deep clean and more staff to cope with the needs of the patients.
My dad has lived at Clyde Court for a number of months. Though the building needs a bit of an upgrade, the care is second to none. My dad has advanced dementia and has some health issues and the staff treat him well, they are nice and know him well.
Lovely staff treated my mum with great care and love. Came out putting on weight. Staff are so friendly and couldn't do enough for her.
My father required respite care for bipolar. There was no availability in Lanarkshire. Clyde Court Care Home had availability and was so welcoming of my dad. The home may need a bit of tender, loving, care but the staff are amazing. My dad was well cared for and safe with a member of staff making sure he got a newspaper and all the other staff there to chat and take care of him. The care home was a very much needed lifeline for my mum. Would recommend and will use in the future.
Clyde Court Care Home is well managed and staffed with a team of people who genuinely care. My uncle had server dementia and was always treated with compassion, care and respect. When things were difficult to visits during the lockdown, I had peace of mind know how well he was being cared for. Families were always welcomed with a smiling face from all staff, who are a credit to their company and caring profession, especially the team on Memory Lane.
My aunt was cared for in Clyde Court Care Home in Clydebank for just over 3 years until she recently passed away. Her care was professional yet personal. She was a resident who was treated like one of the family. I only have praise for all the staff who were involved in her care, directly and indirectly. She was treated with dignity, respect and allowed to be her own person at a challenging time in her life. Her independence was enabled and she could live in a safe environment allowing her family to rest assured that she was happy and cared for. There were occasions when everything wasn’t perfect. However, as a relative of someone who suffered with dementia, life with dementia is far from perfect. If you cannot manage your relative’s care yourself then don’t expect the unachievable from others. Work with your care home to get the best for your relative. It’s a team effort and that’s what Clyde Court excel at.
Can't thank all the staff enough, through this unprecedented year they have been outstanding. The care and kindness to Mum has meant so much, knowing Mum has such a good relationship with staff has been reassuring during periods of limited visiting, the effort all staff have made to keep residents safe is outstanding, can't thank them enough for looking after my lovely wee mum.
The staff at Clyde Court have been fantastic and so helpful since my Aunt went there in April 2020, in the midst of the pandemic. They quickly settled her in and got to know her likes/dislikes. They have also made sure that they update the family on everything, particularly as we have never been able to go into the home due to restrictions. They also act on any requests quickly and my aunt is very happy and settled as a result.
We are so grateful to all the staff for their care, especially during this pandemic. it has been really great to see what's happening and keep in touch via Facebook with all the activities they do. The staff have done an amazing job, keeping our relatives safe, well and happy. Great teamwork.
The care home staff, from the office through to medical team leaders and carers to cleaners to housekeepers - all contributed to making my mum feel at home, safe and happy, especially during these difficult times. They have completely reassured me and helped me cope with the difficulties this pandemic has brought. Thank you.
I am delighted with the care my mother is receiving at Clyde Court Care Home. The staff are extremely hard working and go above and beyond to ensure the residents receive the very best care. It is particularly reassuring during the current COVID-19 pandemic that the staff are adhering to the highest standards with respect to PPE and ensuring residents are kept safe and well. I have nothing but praise for the management and staff.
My dad has been in Clyde Court for 4 years and I can't praise the staff high enough the home is well run and well organised the meals are varied and nutritional and suited to the resident needs, my dad has had to have soft diet and thickened foods. The nursing staff are amazing and are always available to speak to and always keep me updated on Dad's health. The activities team are amazing and put a lot of effort into the work they do with the residents and sometimes I feel my dad has a better social life than me, there are outings whenever possible and they have entertainment come to the home. The domestic staff keep the bedrooms and public areas very clean. During the Covid-19 situation, the staff set up FaceTime and a family/friends drive-thru so we could still visit also there was a room on the ground floor so that the residents could chat with family/friends through the window social distancing guidelines were adhered to.
My aunt has been a resident at the home since November 2019. The care and support she has received is first class I have no complaints whatsoever. Although I live in Malta the home keeps me fully informed of what is happening and how my aunt is.
Have always found the staff caring friendly and attentive to users. They provide a well thought out selection of activities and encourage users to participate. The centre is bright and well laid out with different areas available for individuals to take part in group activities or to quietly do their own thing. Staff is always on hand to give assistance if needed and provide a positive ethos.
Many thanks for providing the wonderful care and attention to my great aunt who celebrated her 100th birthday with you earlier this year. You are all doing a fantastic job and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
