View Full Details of Rawyards House Care HomeExcellent care given 24 hours a day. All the staff are really caring. My brother is in the best care home. Well looked after.
Overall pleased with the care and would like to see her out of bed a little more when she is showing good signs of communication.
I have been impressed by the professionalism of all the staff working in Rawyards House, everyone calls my mother by her preferred name and is caring and kind. As my mother's only relative I feel reassured that she is safe and her individual needs are attended to whilst maintaining her independence. The relative's meetings are very informative and suggestions and requests made by relatives are taken on board. Friends who visit appreciate that they attend social activities such as concerts in Rawyards.
My family members are being treated so well under all staff. Their rooms are very clean and comfy. They are happy in their new environment with all needs provided for. They enjoy all the activities. They enjoy their meals and care. Their personal belongings are safe and protected in all the residents' rooms. Overall very pleased with Rawyards House Care Home.
My aunt is in the dementia unit at Rawyards. The care she has/is receiving is exceptional. The staff know exactly what she needs and do their very best to ensure her needs are met. As a family member, they are always happy to be on hand if I have any questions or queries. As far as my aunt is concerned, I have no complaints about Rawyards at all. Would recommend.
Happy with care provided to mother. Staff always helpful and pleasant.
I am writing this review regarding my mother. I am her daughter and I can't fault the staff who care for my mum. The one complaint I have is the menu. This is not a restaurant or hotel doing fancy meals, it is a care home, so do meals according to their age and what they would like.
Staff are friendly and helpful. The home has a lovely atmosphere and Mum seems to be happy.
Plenty praise for staff. Food okay (soup excellent). Room comfortable and warm. Plenty of activities if you want to partake. Overall, best place in the area.
I am concerned about a lack of contact by management regarding falls/slip hazard. Not resolved and no reply from emails sent weeks ago. I am unhappy with the lack of communication regarding a matter that should not have occurred in the first place.
Great care, attentive and caring staff.
Yes, very happy with the care my brother-in-law receives thank you. He settled in well and got to know the staff and some residents. All his care needs are met. They have a great deal of patience for my brother-in-law as he can be challenging at times.
Mum has been resident in the home for over 1 year and has had excellent care in both medical and personal and, in particular, the senior staff nurse on Ash Unit as she keeps me informed of any issues and recommendations for Mum's care. Mum is happy with the care given by the care staff and happy with food also. There are a few areas that could be improved eg: new carpet and wifi facilities - but all in all, all good. Again, thank you to the nursery, care staff, entertainment and office staff.
Friendly, hard working, caring staff, who do an excellent job.
My wife has been in care in Rawyards for 8 years and during this time the care and support from both the Staff and Management has been excellent. During the time that my wife has been resident there has been 4 or 5 different managers with varying levels of success. Thankfully the manager arrived in 2019 and during this time the service of the home has been improved dramatically. COVID19 : Since March 2020 the Manager has orchestrated a very efficient and extremely successful plan of action during this very difficult period, which has included the introduction of a video call system to residents and also extremely good dialogue with relatives to provide regular updates regarding the ongoing situation via conference calls and e-mails. To back up the successful way in which Rawyards has been run there has been no positive cases of the virus which is a wonderful achievement when compared against the overall situation with all care homes across Scotland.
Well looked after and quite settled.
My sister-in-law is getting well looked after and is in good company.
My mother only spent just over two weeks at Rawyards for palliative care. During this time, she was extremely well looked after and the staff were all extremely supportive, both with Mum and with us.
The staff were brilliant with my wife over the 5 years she was here.
Dad has been well looked after. The staff are so helpful and pleasant. Dad loves the food
