View Full Details of Ashlea Court Care HomeIt is now 1 year since Mum moved into Ashlea Court. She has settled well and is very well cared for. The staff are all great and show genuine care towards her and are so welcoming when we visit! She is always well-presented, clean and tidy. She enjoys the activities and interacts with other residents which she seems to enjoy. She enjoys all the food and never offers any complaints. Her room is a great size and it is great being able to have all her own furniture, ornaments etc. The cleanliness of her room and the home is great. Staff and management are easy and open to communicate with and keep on top of any issues.
My mum has been a resident in Ashlea Court Care Home for 2.5 years. We (my sister and I) are delighted with the care and compassion shown to Mum. Mum is always clean and well-presented. The staff are always friendly, approachable and excellent in communicating with my sister and I if deemed necessary.
My family are happy we decided to move my dad to Ashlea Court, we had a good feeling when we came to view the home. All staff have been very friendly and helpful, Dad settled well, and we see a big difference in Dad as he is a lot happier than he was at his previous home, he has a nice room, a great size, and the home is spotless nice food, plenty cups of tea.
My mum has been a resident since November 2022 and the care has been exceptional. The staff go above and beyond. My dad has since moved into the care home too and I have never seen him happier to be with my mum again.
From my initial visit to view the complex, I have found the staff friendly and attentive. The level of care has impressed me and my mother has settled in very well. When visiting, she is very content and enjoys the interactive nature of the resident's lounge and organised activities. The management are very approachable and informative.
I am glad I chose this home for my husband who has been a resident almost one year. Staff are very approachable and prepared to listen to any worries/problems you foresee. The home is very nice and I am looking forward to the renovations due to take place in residents' bedrooms. My husband's room is definitely in need of a makeover but I know this in the future plans. My husband is very happy in this home and I am happy for him.
The staff are very caring. Management very helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend this care home.
My husband was admitted on the 29th of January 2024. It was quickly obvious that his general health and mood were improving compared to the previous four months in a dementia unit in hospital. This has continued and though I'm aware that Alzheimer's is progressive, I think that his care is helpful to his well-being. Staff and management are caring and helpful to me as well as to my husband.
Ashley Court has been a fantastic choice of care home for my mum. She has had a great 2 years here with very high standards of help and care from all staff. The home is professionally run and is well equipped for my mum's mobility needs. It is so reassuring to know my mum is happy here. Many thanks!
My family are so pleased we decided to bring my gran to Ashlea Court Care Home. We had such a good feeling when we came to view the home, and all the staff have been welcoming and helpful. Gran is enjoying the activities, and we are pleased to see the events happening for Christmas. Thank you to the manager and her staff.
With being able to take Mum's personal belongings in beforehand it made her feel like home. The staff were all welcoming and helpful. Mum has a nice room and is enjoying the food.
From management to domestics are fantastic, I know how difficult it is as I took care of my wife for three years after she had a severe stroke before coming to Ashlea Court Care Home after another stroke. On Independence Day, the home had a party and that was the first time I saw my wife laughing and enjoying herself. From them, my wife has been going to the day room, joining in activities from her wheelchair, has taken the staff three years to get my wife to join in. I can't thank all the staff enough.
My mum moved into Ashlea Court in February 2023 and I cannot fault the care and support she has received so far. All staff are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is ever too much. The home itself is spotless and you can see they take pride in their establishment. My mum's room itself is a great size with an ensuite, one of the key features she wanted when choosing a nursing home. My mum said the food has been lovely and plentiful tea, coffee and homemade snacks throughout the day so residents are well looked after.
Excellent home, couldn't fault it. The carers, nurses, administrative staff, cleaning staff, everybody treats the residents with care, compassion, respect and dignity. They go beyond the call of duty. Mum has been in Ashlea Court for six months now, and I'm happy to say she is happy and thriving.
I am very happy with the care my mother receives from all Ashlea Court staff. They have known her now for nearly five years and always respond to her needs with kindness, gentleness and patience which will not always be easy. From office to cleaning staff, from carers to nurses all staff refer to my mum with affection and an obvious awareness of her individual feelings and needs. As a family, we are very grateful for such a safe and welcoming place for our mother to live at this very vulnerable time in her life.
After a lengthy stay in hospital, our Mum was admitted to our chosen care home, Ashlea Court. Sadly her time there was too short. During her two-week stay, we were kept updated on her care and well-being. She had dementia, our family are confident that everything was done to ensure she felt relaxed, comfortable and safe. She was treated with compassion and dignity.
I know my husband is getting well looked after by the staff and management, and they also inform me of what is being done, which is a great comfort to me.
Overall care of Mum by all staff has been excellent. She settled in very quickly with no problems at all.
The home is kept clean and I never smell odours to suggest negligence in hygiene. The staff have proved caring and attentive to residents whilst being helpful to relatives. Their record during the months of covid has been excellent. The meals are good and the food plentiful.
My mum has been residing at Ashlea Court for 13 years. During this time she has been cared for with dignity and understanding. Management and staff listen to her concerns with understanding and compassion. Working together as a team has always been my utmost goal since Mum entered the home. The cleaning staff, laundry staff, cooks have always provided the highest standards throughout the years as have the carers (again teamwork). During lockdown, all measures were adhered to impeccably and continue to be.
