View Full Details of Milton Grange Nursing HomeMy mother recently passed away after 3 years at Milton Grange. My mother was lovingly and professionally cared for from the moment she arrived. The love and compassion was very much appreciated. Every member of staff took the time to get to know her and the family members who visited. The level of care was exceptional on every level. Any requests were accommodated where possible. I cannot recommend Milton Grange highly enough. A thank you to all the members of staff from all the family.
Treatment of my grandpa here has been excellent. The staff are attentive and caring to each resident. Rooms are always immaculate when I visit and they take the time to get to know each resident personally as well as updating the family whenever we visit.
My sister-in-law passed away on 15th October after eleven months. The staff have been professional and caring during this time. The last few weeks have been extremely challenging for the staff and the family are grateful for the exceptional care and attention she received. In my career, I have been involved in many care homes in a professional capacity and would recommend that it should be considered if a placement is required.
The staff at Milton Grange are excellent. They are caring and offer great support to the resident's relatives. I was very happy with the care given to my mother for the 3 months she lived at the care home. Nothing was too much bother. They are a great team.
My relative has now moved from Milton Grange and I wanted to give it a few weeks before leaving a review as it was only fair to compare it to another establishment. Disappointing does not even quantify how I felt as a family member. Things were difficult enough during a covid outbreak without staff members making it difficult to contact relatives and denying perfectly safe window visits. One particular staff member's attitude is beyond belief, stating that “they didn’t care what other homes did” when a window visit was requested. The same staff member terminated the unfinished call. As a relative you felt unwelcome, the home does not have a nice atmosphere. My relative (who has full capacity) was deeply unhappy and this was exacerbated by rude staff who treated him “roughly” in his words. The only reason I have given two stars is that a couple of members of staff (nightshift) are extremely welcoming, kind and willing to listen to both relatives and the service user.
I cannot thank the staff and management of Milton Grange enough, the dedication of care shown to all residents and visitors are no bother to them there is always a very warm welcome, even though the pandemic. As a family, we were always kept informed of our loved ones. True heroes. We as a family we wish to express our sincere thanks for the care during my mum's stay and dignity shown at the end of her life. Thank you to all the staff, true heroes in our eyes.
My mother has been a resident at Milton Grange for 2 years. I am very happy with the way she is cared for. The staff are always pleasant, informative, and always ready to answer any questions I have regarding my mum's care.
Overall good, may have agreed on excellent, but I have not been inside Milton Grange since 12th March 2020. So I felt I can not say excellent in all honesty. What I will say, is the staff have neem wonderful in doing what they have been doing to keep the home Covid free. However, no physical contact or close contact is taking its till in my mum and family.
We are very happy with the service provided. My Mother has a close bond with the carers. This gives the family reassurance that she is being looked after properly. There is always plenty of staff on duty who are friendly and helpful. There is never a problem to talk to management or nurses if required. The food is a good standard and always plenty.
I am happy with the person-centred care provided. Staff listen to needs when expressed and act responsibly whenever possible.
My relative was treated with the best care and attention that anyone could ask for, the staff were very friendly, and professional in every aspect of care, and informed us about everything. My family can not thank them enough for all their help. The management was also very welcoming, friendly, and very professional. Once again many thanks.
All staff are caring and have my mum's best interests at heart. No matter how busy they are they have time for all residents. They are friendly towards visitors and always make you feel welcome in the home.
Made to feel at home. The staff are very friendly and always on hand, I feel there should be more staff especially at night. Dad settled in better than we expected. Carers are overworked they really need more help two on night shift is not acceptable.
