View Full Details of Cairnie Lodge Care CentreThe home is absolutely great, all staff very helpful and nothing is any trouble for them. My relative is fairly new to this home. I am very pleased so far.
My son is very disabled and needs help with dressing, washing, shaving and toileting. The carers do a very good job when working with him. They show respect but at the same time, chat, find out his interests and act on what they find out. He has been there for one month and I cannot believe how well he is getting on. We were so lucky getting him into Cairnie Lodge Care Centre.
My mother has been in Cairnie Lodge for over a year and the staff could not do more to make her stay comfortable and homely. She enjoys the activities that are provided and loves the staff. They are friendly and caring and look after the residents well.
Father within the Alzheimer's facility of the care home and was able to obtain a respite space in the other nursing home for my Mother. The staff have been excellent throughout a stressful period for me and helped me with getting her a room. Always show great care towards both my parents.
Since my sister's admission to the care home with dementia and Alzheimers, I have found her care, and safety very good. All the staff are excellent and very easy to approach if you have to ask any questions. I would recommend the care home to anyone if asked.
I'm so grateful to all the staff at Cairnie Lodge. My sister spent time in another care home and was expected to sit all day and night and complained when my sister wanted to go out into the garden. My sister is now in a caring environment where she can go out in the garden at any time she wants to. The staff spend time with her in the garden, the office, and in the home itself. It's such a weight off my shoulders and mind knowing she is in the safe hands of Cairne Lodge.
We are more than happy with the care Mum is receiving. There are certain things that need to be addressed i.e. things going missing from her room, especially her bottom dentures which have been missing since she arrived here.
My husband is well looked after in every way all his needs are met without any hesitation. Has clean clothes on every day, staff are very good with him.
In pleasant, comfortable, and caring circumstances, I have been given the opportunity to gently receive from my workers. I have had excellent support from staff caring for me, who have been positive and cheerful. I have been given time and support for my mind and body to gently return to a positive outlook, helping me to recover my strength. I appreciate all the care I have received from every care worker with whom I have been involved. The unit is attractive and welcoming, staffed by cheerful and helpful care professionals.
Cairnie Lodge is an excellent place for my husband, he is happy to be here and tells me how lucky he is. It is a pleasure to visit him as the staff are so welcoming and kind there is nowhere else I would like to see him, I am a grateful wife. Many thanks.
Cairnie Lodge is a very welcoming care home. The staff are always kind and caring and are usually very engaged with the residents. The activity staff are excellent and provide great activities. Excellent variety of food as well.
After a see-saw round of events post hip surgery which led to Mum being in two hospitals then contracting Covid and being in isolation for two weeks, words cannot express how grateful we are as a family that Mum was eventually transferred to Cairnie Lodge Rehab Unit after almost six weeks. What the staff at Cairnie have achieved in three weeks we wouldn’t have believed. Everyone at Cairnie Lodge from the Office staff to the laundry girls, the activities-co-ordinator to the hairdresser all greeted us with a smile and encouragement during Mum's stay. All staff in the rehab unit including the physios and podiatrists etc are totally committed to all aspects of their work with a caring, considerate and fun approach to the residents bringing them together at meal times and making it a very homely atmosphere. During her three-week stay apart from being fed almost 24/7 (her words) she had a visit from the Easter Bunny, a hairdo, manicure, bingo and a coffee morning. Excellent care!
My mum came to Cairnie Lodge in May 2023. I feel she is well looked after and staff are so lovely to Mum and myself. Mum is always relaxed and smiling at staff so I know she feels safe. Only negative is that sometimes there is not enough staff on shift and they don't get to spend enough time with each resident.
My mother has been in Cairnie Lodge for 3 months - firstly in hospital rehab and then respite care awaiting transfer to nursing home in home town. She has been treated with the utmost respect by staff and has been well looked after and cared for. As a visitor I have found all staff reception, kitchen, laundry, cleaning and nursing care to be very friendly and helpful and the home has a welcoming atmosphere and is spotlessly clean!
Visiting is a pleasure. Staff are approachable and extremely friendly and informative of service users' wellbeing and interactions.
My mother-in-law has had an excellent rehabilitation experience in Cairnie Lodge. All aspects of her care were very good, staff were excellent. She has now retired home and is doing really well at home. Family would recommend this unit to anyone requiring proper rehabilitation following a period of illness.
My dad has settled well in Cairnie Lodge. Loves the food and enjoys interaction with the staff. Very welcoming home and can't praise the staff highly enough for their patience and continuing care towards my dad.
Very good, never had any problems. The staff are very good, nothing is a problem. The food is excellent and very tasty. At Christmas, the staff were brilliant with my wife. Cairnie Lodge is a very good and well run care home.
All contact with the care centre has been excellent. Staff are helpful and communicate well about any changes of health.
