My beloved Nana has been a resident at Craigieknowes care home for some time now, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the outstanding level of care she receives. I wholeheartedly recommend Craigieknowes Care Home to anyone seeking exceptional care for their loved ones. The staff's kindness, compassion, and willingness to help make all the difference in providing a safe and nurturing environment. We are immensely grateful for the outstanding care my nana receives, and we have peace of mind knowing she is in such capable hands at Craigieknowes Care Home.

As a former care home manager, I found Craigieknowes Care Home to be excellent in all aspects. The staff who cared for me directly were warm, friendly and well trained. I felt respected and safe and saw that they treated other residents in the same manner. I spent ten days there on respite and my accommodation was as good as I could have hoped. The manager has developed a strong care team and I enjoyed watching how she operates. The only minor issue I had was the quality of the coffee in that administrator's room. I will rectify this on a future visit. Congratulations and my warm thanks to all at Craigieknowes.

Mum has now been here for 3 yrs and is totally settled in. Her relationship with staff and management is exceptional and she feels very comfortable staying here. Mum enjoys the interaction with other residents and loves getting the opportunity to get out and about when she can.

The staff at Craigieknowes Care Home have been a great support to my mum (and to me for that matter) since she was admitted. Although I hate it when I have to say goodbye after my visits, I know she is in good hands and it is the safest place for her. The staff organise lots of activities, that my mum can take part in, if she wants and there are regular updates on social media of them all enjoying themselves. There seems to be a lot of choice in all her meals, and her room is always clean and tidy. If ever I have any questions, the staff are happy to explain, no matter how long it takes to explain. In the beginning, I was very upset about putting my mum into a nursing home, but since then, I now realise this is the best, and safest, place for her to be and I am very thankful to all the staff for their constant supervision of my mum.

Such a great home for my grandma. Everyone is lovely and caring always joking with her and making her smile. Love seeing photos of her doing her activities. She is very loved and safe at Craigieknowes Care Home.

Another year and I have nothing but absolute respect for all the Staff looking after my Mother in Law. The manager and the team continue to provide a very personal and caring service to my whole family. Great job.

Mum has been in Craigieknowes Care Home for over a year and I feel very lucky that she has gained a second family who takes such care of her every day. The home is clean, bright and welcoming and every member of staff stops for a chat with both Mum and myself anytime we meet them. I feel all the staff know Mum well and the affection they have for her is evident in all the little things they do to meet her individual needs and preferences. The atmosphere is calming and Mum loves the pets who bring her much amusement and fun. There are regular activities available and although Mum doesn’t always take part, the staff go out of their way to find her something she will enjoy and we both like a wee tea party for a special occasion! I cannot thank the manager and her staff enough for the care they give Mum every day.

The staff and management are all fantastic at Craigieknowes Care Home! They are very friendly and welcoming every time you walk through the door, they are amazing with my mum as she is always doing some sort of activity. I would highly recommend.

My mum was a resident at Craigieknowes Care home for five years and seven months and we can't thank all the staff and management for all the love, care and attention that my mum received in that time. The home always had lots of activities for all the residents to join in if they wished to. As a family, we were extremely happy with all that the home did for Mum and for us as relatives. Great teamwork. 100% the best. Thanks so much again.

Helpful, pleasant mannered staff. Relaxed, controlled atmosphere. Outside area for residents and for visitors. Catering enjoyed by my relative. Regular social activities. General cleanliness adherence. Centrally situated.

Dad has been a resident since the end of April. The staff are very friendly and supportive of both Dad in the home and also visiting family. Dad has settled in well and says he is happy, well cared for and well-fed. The activities are varied and residents are encouraged to take part but not forced, these are adapted depending on abilities. The home is clean and tidy, there is not a musty smell when you walk in as there was in other homes we visited. There is always a good atmosphere. The home is of medium capacity compared to others in the area and fully staffed who ensure that the residents know who they are and endeavour to make it a home-from-home atmosphere.

I would like to thank all members of staff for the care and love you gave my mum. In the five and a half years she was at Craigieknowes Care Home she was looked after to the highest standards it should be for a loved member of anybodys. The staff are a credit to the care system. It's my partner's granny that is in the home. I have been a few time's to visit and all the staff and management are very lovely and friendly towards us and will always take time to have a chat with us. The home is very clean and tidy. From all the pictures that we also see on the Facebook page, they also keep the residents busy with lots of different activities daily.

My granny has been in Craigieknows for a number of years now; she is very happy and very well cared for. When I go to visit, you are always made very welcome indeed by all the staff. We have taken my 9-month baby daughter to visit, which my granny loves, as do the other residents.

Since my aunt moved into Craigieknowes Care Home about one year ago I have found the staff and management have been very professional, approachable and extremely, caring and helpful to the needs of my aunt and myself. There are always plenty of activities that suit all the residents, which is beneficial to my aunt and others and where the staff go out of their way for everyone to join in and enjoy themselves. I would definitely recommend the care home for their high standard of care and attention to all the residents.

Best care home, the staff are brilliant with all the residents, they go above and beyond, always making sure the residents enjoy themselves and making sure they are joining in. Would recommend this care home to anyone as the staff are lovely and caring.

When I go to visit my granny, from arrival at the front door, you are greeted by lovely staff who always have time to have a chat and tell me how my granny is doing. The home meets the care and attention that she (Granny) so much deserves. They always put the resident in 1st place for care and all activities that they arrange for the on-site and trips out. My Granny loves the nail bar room that they now have as she enjoys getting her Nails painted. She is very settled at Craigieknows. The manager and all her team do a brilliant job.

The staff are extremely friendly at Craigieknowes; their kindness and care for the residents really show. My granny is very happy here. She has made great relationships and enjoys the activities a lot; it’s fantastic to see everyone enjoy themselves and see smiles on their faces. When we visit, we feel very comfortable and always made welcome. The rooms have recently been redecorated, and they look fab. Cannot fault the home.

Overall, satisfied with the care provided within the home. Good level of personal care and support to family. Notable changes is staff over the past one to two years, potentially due to the pandemic and restrictions. Throughout this time staff kept families updated as best as was possible.

Mum has been in Craigieknowes Care Home for over a year and I feel very lucky that she has gained a second family who takes such care of her every day. My mum was a resident at Craigieknowes Care home for five years and seven months and we can't thank all the staff and management for all the love, care and attention that my mum received in that time. The home always had lots of activities for all the residents to join in if they wished to. As a family, we were extremely happy with all that the home did for Mum and for us as relatives. The home is of medium capacity compared to others in the area and fully staffed who ensure that the residents know who they are and endeavour to make it a home-from-home atmosphere.

It's my partner's granny that is in the home. I have been a few time's to visit and all the staff and management are very lovely and friendly towards us and will always take time to have a chat with us. The home is very clean and tidy.
