View Full Details of Viewlands HouseMy father moved to Viewlands House in 2024 and has had excellent care in the time he has been there. He was a little unsettled at first but the caring and supportive staff have really made this feel like his new home. The only reason I have put 'Good' rather than 'Excellent' is that it is small. Apart from that it is well maintained, clean, sunny and bright and has ensuite facilities. The staff are caring, hardworking and empathetic. We could not hope for more.
Viewlands House Perth. My mum loves this home and is very content there. Staff are considerate, caring and professional. Staff are committed to every single resident in the home, nothing is too much of a problem. Food is varied and plentiful as are the cups of tea during the day. Lots of activities which my mum really enjoys doing but you are not pressured into doing them.
My mother has been in Viewlands for two years, she suffers from early-onset Alzheimer's. She is 94 and quite fit. Viewlands have been exceptional in their care for her personal care, very good, food, very good, activities, very good. Friendly, helpful staff. They are happy to accommodate requests from family.
Whenever I visit the staff are friendly and welcoming. I find my mother very content in her surroundings with as much independence as she chooses. She's full of praise for the high standard of the food and the choices too. She feels safe, looks so well cared for and I have full confidence in the standards that Viewlands provides.
Excellent friendly staff who recognise not only residents by name but also those who like me visit as often as possible. Make visitors feel welcome as well as care given to residents.
Immediate impression of friendly welcoming staff who all appear to be enjoying their work. There is a happy feel throughout the home and the atmosphere is fresh and airy. There is an evident effort to create a home-from-home atmosphere and the conversation of the resident whom I was visiting reinforces this view. Furthermore, the home caters for occasions, e.g birthdays and makes an effort to make the individual concerned feel special.
My mother had been at Viewlands for over two years now and we couldn't be happier with the wonderful care she receives. The staff are all really lovely and communicate extremely well with us, letting us know how Mum has been etc. Mum is perfectly content there, she likes the food and enjoys the routine and all the activities. I don't think we could have found a more suitable place for our mother who is 94.
My mother has spent many months now at Viewlands which we came upon by chance. We now realise how lucky we were to have found a kind, caring and comfortable place for her to live in safely surrounded by her own belongings. The staff are the backbone of Viewlands and are a very helpful, cheerful, happy bunch.
I think that Viewlands House is a unique home from home for both residents and their relatives! The welcome one receives on entering is always warm and natural. There is care taken daily to provide fresh flowers and an ambience of generosity of spirit. (This is supported by the care of the 'Friends of Viewlands') The staff are both kind and efficient in keeping relatives informed of any problem as they happen. They are light in heart and gentle in care - nothing is too much trouble. My husband and I have found our whole experience of the past 13 months nothing but a relief to know and trust that our mum is being cared for and catered for with the very highest standards of care.
Very well managed. High standard of care. Staff encourage residents. They work hard to develop residents' mobility. Catering and food preparation is top-class. To summarise - very pleased that my wife is in Viewlands House.
Viewlands House Care Home is an excellent care home. All staff are so caring and attentive. My mother is very happy and settled. I do not have a single concern about Viewlands.
For four years, four months I lived in one of Abbeyfield's bungalows in reasonable health. In 2020 I became unwell and such to need two short spells in hospitals and follow-up with community care and then Abbeyfield, Viewlands House Care Home, having an available room, I moved in. I have improved and able to attend to most personal care but support and help is here and I get on well with all staff (and residents) and grateful to be here.
My relative has been cared for by Viewlands House now for six months and is very happy with her care. She especially likes all the entertainment they provide and feels safe and secure there. She eats meals (more than she did at home) and enjoys the company.
Since my sister-in-law moved to Viewlands House Care Home in April 2022 we can't praise the staff and care highly enough. My sister-in-law is receiving the best care possible and we have peace of mind knowing she is safe and looked after with love and dignity.
Viewlands House is a very good care home. They have lots of activities.
First-class nursing home. I am very confident that Mum is receiving the best care. All staff are superb, friendly, competent, efficient and professional. I am happy that Mum is receiving a fantastic/superb level of care and has settled in very well. Highly recommend.
Viewlands House Care Home is an excellent nursing home. My mother spent only a few weeks there before passing. The entire staff could not have been more professional and caring towards both my mother and ourselves throughout her time there. It's a happy place - a real home from home. Thank you Viewlands staff.
The staff are very professional and friendly. My relative has been at Viewlands House for five months and is being very well looked after. The activities in the home are superb and the food is great.
I have a wonderful time. I was here for two weeks respite and liked it so much, I stayed on.
The house is very homely and the staff are very caring. Everything is clean and well cared for, including the extensive gardens. Nothing is too much bother for the staff and they communicate well with mum and her family.
